Chocolate banana ice cream w/ condensed milk syrup, a chocolate waffle stick, and whip cream.

The concept of ice cream rolled has been booming literally everywheree here in nyc. I discovered this cute local shop 4 blocks away from my house & i couldn't be any more happier! First off the people working there are super nice. Great customer service. Second, the actual ice cream is homemade and tastes sooooo gooood!! Its a one-sized cup for $7 &&&& best part of all..*drum roll plss*...you get UNLIMITED toppings!! OH YEA! Thats right! Unlimited fruit, syrups, nuts, roasted marshmallows, sprinkles, you name it! My sister, boyfriend & I were more than satisfied with this spot. I def. recommend trying igloo rolls. Not only do they have ice cream rolls, they also have milkshakes, and pancakes. You get delicious ice cream & you're supporting local businesses! Two in one :D i will be seriously be hitting this spot up in the summer time a lot.

So I went yesterday and I wish it was closer. Been thinking about that food ever since. First of it just appears to be a dessert place. Ice cream rolls that looks super yummy but bcuz of the holidays I haven't been sticking to any form of a diet, I passed. Crepes, milkshakes and smoothies too. Everything appeared to be very clean. WELL I was told to go there bcuz the food is good. I got pollo saltado. I've had it before and it seemed familiar. It was so flavorful and fresh. I got it with white rice and salad. It was awesome. Can't wait to go back. Oh I am not a big picture taker but I did take a picture this time. Look how yummy that looks. Anytime I am in that neighborhood I am going there.

You can't get it fresher than this. It's made right in front of you and you get to choose the flavor add ins and toppings!

I got the banana Nutella. The man added all of the ingredients and rolled them up. The texture and taste is amazing! You get to add toppings if you like, a wide array to choose from (candy, cereal, etc). I chose not to.

From all the competition out there This place is amazing .. Those Thai style ice creams are Amazing . You don't find that anywhere .. Specially in a Spanish community .. Aside from everyone has their own opinion I don't agree with the person above me .. Love their ice cream .. Well worth the $7 dollars with their unlimited toppings ... Everyone make your way to igloo rolls .. I highly recommend this place

Adding the toppings

I got a #10 which was vanilla ice cream, Nutella with bananas. Once everything was mixed and rolled up I got to add extra toppings. So I put crumbs of graham crackers, and caramel. Everything was fresh, but together very well and had tasted really good and refreshing on a hot day. Con is the price $7 bucks is a bit to much for a little bit of ice cream. But if you have money to splurge it's a very tasteful snack.

Everything is rich, indulgent, and made to satisfy your sugar cravings. We tried the Banana Nutella Crepe ($11), Oreo Lover Bubble Waffle ($11), and a Hazelnut Frap ($6.99). Both the crepe and bubble waffle came topped with whipped cream, a generous drizzle of chocolate, and a dusting of powdered sugar. It was definitely over the top and decadent. Honestly, my Asian taste buds were a bit overwhelmed. I tend to lean more towards lighter desserts. While it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, I know plenty of friends who would absolutely love it. The standout for me was the super friendly staff member who prepared everything with care. Plus, with everything on the menu priced under $12, it's a pretty good value. We even received two coupons for free items, Bonus: they're open every day until midnight--perfect for those late-night dessert cravings

I love these traditional chinese formula recipes and the option to choose sweet porridge or fruit porridge. I believe the fruits are so fresh, without high fructose corn syrups that tastes like home-made, with the great traditional healthy sweets that are good for all ages. I was here for many hours doing some work and didn't get to also order variety of food but I will be back next time. P.S There is an older woman, who might work there or manage, but unlike all the other passionate service waiters/waitresses/cashiers, she has really demeaning and inpatient temper and very judgemental. The situation was I simply wanted to walk in the bathroom and kindly rejected the keys saying I don't need it, but the lady lashed back telling about how it's a requirement to take the keys and since then on she kept staring at me with very mean stare. I hope the owner speak to her because it may make some customers react harshly or be very offended by her tone, demands.

You can order with a person or the kiosk which I thought was nice because I had absolutely no idea what I wanted and did not want to awkwardly stare at the person up front so I hurried over to the kiosk. My fiancé ended up getting the durian royal which I really liked. The base was nice and creamy. I ended up getting the mango sago with a coconut milk base which I ended up regretting. The reason why I regretted it was because yes, I wanted a light dessert but this wasn't really a dessert and was more of a drink. There was a lot of coconut milk with a little bit of sago and a couple cubes of mango which made it feel like it was literally nothing. I will be back another day to maybe try more of their desserts in case I did choose a faulty one.

"Dinges" is a Belgian slang term…read moremeaning "whatchamacallit," referring to all the Dutch-style waffle-maker's appetizing toppings like chocolate fudge, fruits, fresh whipped cream and more. Here is a tip. There is a Target, CVS, and Walgreens in the area. Purchase your own whip cream. What this place charges for whip cream is the price of a can in some places. The ambiance is best enjoyed during the summer. Receiving your order is usually very quick from when you place the order. The waffles and toppings are expensive but it makes for nice treat.

I used this to justify ordering Wafels and Dinges on Caviar because lo and behold, they have coffee. This felt like one of those decisions involving a lot of rationalization when I really just used it as an excuse to have a waffle delivered to my apartment. I was a little wary because I'd heard that the wafels were not as good unless eaten straight from the cart. I ordered the WMD waffle with bananas, strawberries, whipped cream, and fudge. I got a macchiato as well. The waffle and toppings arrived very nicely packaged. The macchiato was wrapped very securely in Saran Wrap-nice! I was initially a little disappointed with having to add the toppings myself (I know, this review is exposing the depths of my laziness) but they cut the bananas and strawberries in very thin slices so that it's basically fool-proof to top the wafel. Check out my picture to see what a home wafel looks like-you basically can't have an ugly or totally disappointing wafel. The wafel itself was nice! I was impressed at the pockets of airiness within the waffle and the webs of spun sugar within the batter. The toppings were also very fresh even late in the evening. The whipped cream comes flavored with something I can't place but that was very nice. The macchiato was an A+. I would like to try Wafels and Dinges at some point in person. Even if that doesn't happen, I'm very satisfied with the delivery experience with Wafels and Dinges. It's hard to believe that what I had could be that much better-or worse-than what I tried via delivery, which was quite good. If you are wondering whether it's worth detouring for a wafel, yes. It is.
