Cute ambiance. Huge portions! Delicious smells when you walk in and a little man helping behind the counter taking orders who could not have been older than 12 yo. Had the House Special Crepe with Nutella, strawberry and banana and Lotus Biscoff cookie crumbles / topping. I went halfsies with my hubs because.... IT WAS SO BIG! and for almost $14, I am glad that's the portion they give, but STILL...for one person, it's pure diabetes on a plate. Again, the crepe was delicious, I enjoyed it. My husband said next time, we should ask for the crepe to be a bit "well done" otherwise, it's a little bit too "doughy." Came in for a midnight snack. We got the Smores and the strawberry banana Nutella crepes while they were both delicious the strawberry banana was my favorite, the perfect balance of chocolate and fruit. The portion sizes are large so I would definitely recommend sharing and they have a wide range of items to choose from.Service was great workers were friendly and nice and we got our food quickly. Love that they are open late. The vibes are amazing, great music, clean, aesthetically pleasing and it smells amazing. I came here around 12 am with 3 individuals, we shared the strawberry banana Nutella crepe and s'mores crepe. Both crepes were impeccable and were very flavorful. The service was efficient and the workers were friendly and helpful. The place itself is very open, warm and inviting. First time here. We came after a doctor's appointment and had a sweet tooth lol. Upon entering the establishment, it's vibrant, lively, and fun. We had the pistachio lovers mini pancakes with strawberries & the cannoli crepe. Both were yummy. The crepe was on the small sized compared to everyone around us (theirs covered the whole plate). The service was okay, it wasn't welcoming but not arrogant either. There are other locations around the city and considering taking kids to them next. Overall I do recommend. read more

I am fairly impressed with this crowd pleaser of a dessert place - if you come with a small group odds are someone is going to find something to enjoy and share. For us, we all agreed that Pistachio Kup was the thing to get (3 of us ordered it) - I was pretty happy with the layer of pistachio cream topping chopped pistachios with plenty of vanilla ice cream and a bottom layer that repeats the chopped pistachio and cream. It is a very filling dessert, but I found the texture of the ice cream to be a little cool whip like. If you love chocolate, this place is pretty much heaven. From the drinks to the desserts, everything feels indulgent. We tried a few of their Dubai chocolate options in the past, and while it was very good, it is just a tad bit expensive. It's definitely a reasonable though due to the price of pistachio and the good quality of chocolate they use. You really can't go wrong with any of the strawberry options either. They do play a lot of good music, which millennials will appreciate. This is the kind of place you go when you want to treat yourself, and the presentation makes it feel special! read more

The service and the selection is next level!!!! There's so much competition on Steinway but it's really the staff that make this spot standout. Tried their new tiramisu shake which legit had a piece of tiramisu ON IT and a lady finger. Cup was loaded up with chocolate and shake itself was coffee flavored. The birthday cake crepe is PACKED with strawberries, cake, chocolate, sprinkles--you gotta eat it right there though otherwise the crepe itself gets weird. I also had the s'mores crepe but added cheesecake and that was not AS good as the birthday cake but fantastic nonetheless. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for something sweet! We heard about this place via Tik Tok and decided to try it! Upon entering, you immediately smell the sweetness! The aroma was divine! We ordered the pistachio mini pancakes with strawberries and dark chocolate with powdered sugar and the cannoli crepes with strawberries and chocolate chips! Astoria doesn't have any shortage of amazing desserts but Chocolate House brings a wide variety of virtually any dessert to satisfy one's sweet tooth. It's super spacious, clean, staff is kind, and the desserts are great- what's not to love? Some of my favorites include the spiced chai latte (my parents loved this too) and the lotus biscoff sundae (something I always end up getting) albeit I don't think this place could do any wrong and everything on the menu would be good. What can I say other than DELICIOUS. Everything is so great but not overwhelming. The crepes are perfect, NY cheesecake shake is liquid heaven. The KUPs are bomb and great on the go treats. The restaurant was spacious. It's an amazing place for chocolate treats, Middle Eastern style. Chocolate House replaced an ice cream parlor which had been at that very same location during the COVID epidemic. Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.

I ordered a 2 scoop vanilla sundae with chocolate sprinkles and strawberry syrup. It was the bomb! The sundae was so delectable! Best sundae I have had in along time. The service was impeccable. The servers were all positive and happy to serve you. I can't wait to come back here and have the triple scoop sundae. They have so many different combinations of ice cream. Lots of other great items on the menu too!

They apparently have small boba which is fine although I generally prefer bigger boba, and theirs was at least not overcooked and sweetened. I'd consider going back, but I'll say a hard no to lemon in my boba tea.
