Finally made it to this ice cream joint with family! Service was amazing. They let us try the flavors we wanted to try before settling on our pics. I got the blackberry fudge brownie which was decadent! Hubby got pistachio and my kids both got mint chip. Ambiance is colorful and unique.

Extremely kitschy Ice cream spot in the best way possible. They only have 3 beach chairs (think Adirondack shaped, but plastic) for seating, but tons to see. The owner is very friendly and views the place as a museum, with constantly changing content. The Ice cream itself is creative and varied. They have lots of ice creams infused with cereals... really yummy. They have a set of ice creams that don't change, and new ones that do change. They also have soft serve. They're not stingy in limiting your samples, and the owner clearly enjoys his job. I had the Ferrero rocheche caramel Ice cream, it was very sweet, but very good. My kiddo had the fruit loop scoops flavor, and honestly, I think it was even better. My friend had the pumpkin spice option, and loved it so much. She bought a pint to go! This will be a regular haunt for me.

A must try in Queens. My family came to visit and I took them here for icecream. My parents became hooked. There is no much options and you can sample as much as you want. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The interior is unique and cool place to take pictures.

Phenomenal home made ice cream - the SpongeBob was an amazing cake batter flavored ice cream with sprinkles, and the black and white cookie was also spot on. The Dulce de leche was also completely on point. Definitely a must - stop in Queens that lives up to all the hype.

Coffee chunky bar and ferrero rocher caramel.

Super nice service. Sample all you want. Amazing flavors. Regular stuff plus outstanding mixtures. We had coffee chunky bar and ferrero rocher caramel. Amazing both. And fresh brewed coffee and dulce de leche. Coffee actually has true flavor and dulce has caramel running through. We've lived in queens our whole lives and this was the first time we've been here. Recommended by our friend and so glad we checked it out. New ice cream spot for us for sure!!!

There's so many flavors to choose from Cap N Crunch Cookies and Cream, Fruity Pebbles, and Pistachio.

Max & Mina's was chefs kiss. The flavors of the ice cream were like a walk in the park. Kosher friendly. And fun for dates. You will not regret going here. TRUST ME! It was soo good!!! 10 out of 10! The ice cream parlor is very nostalgic, and you're able to try unlimited flavors. So get your taste buds ready!!!!!

Im a huge fan of pistachio, I was on the hunt for one that was "homemade" and not commercial. Found this place via YELP and I was not disappointed. I love the store. It reminds me of small town ice cream shops with NYC flair. Perfect combo. I will come again.

my favorite ice cream spot in queens! the flavor combos are delicious, my favorite being the "Cookie Monster" (pictured), Cap'n Crunch / cookies and cream (pictured), the fruity pebbles and the rocky road. they also have frozen yogurt (chocolate and vanilla). prices are decent, not cheap but also not as expensive as other places. the service is great- the staff are super nice, and they let you try as many flavors as you'd like. the whole place is decorated with cereal boxes (old to new) and lights. tip- try multiple flavors! and they have cones as well as cups.

Nostalgia central - A store display wall showcases numerous cereal boxes, merchandise, and tie-dye T-shirts with the business's logo, creating a colorful scene.

Such a fun ice cream shop! My husband and I ventured over from Forest Hills after walking the Pat Dolan trail and Max & Mina's was the perfect pit stop. The colorful decor and plethora of unique flavors give the shop a Willy Wonka vibe and what could be better than that? It reminds me of New Paltz or Asheville. The people are so nice and the ice cream is delicious! I grew up in PA and good old fashioned ice cream can be hard to find in NYC. Max & Mina's has all the creamy goodness with the added bonus of fun flavors. I had the Reese's Pieces caramel and coconut Oreo and my husband had rum raisin and Tate's. They were all delicious and we'll definitely be back to try more! Love that you can try 2 flavors in a small.

Found this gem of a place right near my college! The people that work here are the kinds, most generous people. The ice cream flavors, decorations, and energy within this ice cream shop are different from what you'll find anywhere else. The walls are decorated with limited edition cereal boxes, stickers, tie dye, string lights, frisbees and are super colorful. There are some flavors that are always there such as Spongebob and Cookie Monster, but the rotating flavors are what I love seeing on their Instagram page. My personal favorite that always brings me in is anything from Max & Mina's with blueberry in it. If you see it, definitely try it! The Fruity Pebbles fluff, Krispy Kreme Strawberry Donut, Dunkaroos, and blackberry chip are delicious. I am not a fan of Fruity Pebbles cereal, but the ice cream is a different story. Deeeeelicious! Sizes offered here are small (2 flavors), large (4 flavors), pint, quart, shakes (which come in small or large), or a 2.5 gallon tub. If you live far away, I recommend bringing an ice cooler with you to get some pints, because after trying their cool flavors, you'll want to bring some home to family & friends! There used to be a few chairs to sit inside and enjoy your ice cream, but they've been temporarily removed due to COVID-19 social distancing rules. Great spot to bring friends/a date to. There is some metered parking outside and free parking along the side streets. Cash preferred. You'll be charged a small fee if you pay with card.

So apparently a young woman was training ALL of the staff and no one knew what to do or even what the dang ingredients were are she shouted fudge and swept across the room to point of the fudge to that same nervous young man. Idk what the kind of Ice cream emergency could have been occurring but I had to tell her ring me up sis. It takes 2 seconds and she did. Super frustrated and blowing hot air. And I felt for her bc she must be having a difficult time juggling the new staff and ice cream emergencies and regular walk in clients who want an ice cream cake in the rain. But that's how life is sometimes people are put in difficult situations and discover who they are and what they are capable of. And that's pretty awesome. Like you deserve 5 stars after all of the drama. The store is not yours but you seemed to understand that you were the face of the company and in that situation you put your pride aside and made my day. Thank you so much. Idk why or who set up the schedule to have all the trainees being trained and no one who knew anything except you. But my ice cream cake without writing was worth the $45 I paid for it. End of story. You probably never even knew how serious I was about the compliment when I said thank you great job. But we have all been there and we all must learn. So thank you I hope they get more staff or the staff being trained learns to make it happen in the heat of the moment just like you did. I remember I would frequently patronized Ralph's at 497 Newbridge Road, East Meadow, NY with my then boyfriend and we would take home large cups including several pints for his father. Indeed, this Ralph's is priced higher than competitor Rita's. (I have never visited The Lemon Ice King of Corona due to the inaccessibility location via mass transit. Thus, I cannot make a juxtaposition for comment). I am willing to pay for high quality of ingredients, good taste and abundance for quantity. Ralph's is my ultimate brand of Italian ice to seek and intake - Uncle Louie G comes second and nothing else. Ralph's always have a extensive menu of flavors for classic Italian Ice (water ice), cream ice (sherbet), ice cream, smoothies, and "Tornados" (blended treats). Italian ice made correctly without any pieces of ice and water at the bottom of the cup for the flavor to be diluted. I am old school traditional conservative and choose my default favorite type: classic Italian water ice. I ventured here on a cold day during the Christmas 2025 season rather than during a hot stifling summer day. At day's end it was a sweet phlegmatic ephemeral moment. Customer service is very attentive, efficient, courteous and polite as I was the only patron in the house. I've learned that (I think) most Ralph's locations will be closed during the winter months and re-open March 2026 since Italian ice and ice cream is a seasonal operating business. Oh! I always enjoy Italian ice year round and wished it were open year round which their website claims "fat free & cholesterol free." Space is large for patrons to order, wait and order pick-up for this location. I like the large wall-to-wall decal mural which is specific to the Forest Hills locale as it was my one-time former residence. There is one in-door bench which I sat to thoroughly intake to enjoy my sweet treat. I did receive a sales receipt. I would gladly visit again for watermelon, strawberry, mango, orange and cherry flavors. Small peach Italian ice, $6.19 The scooping for this small cup is large and very abundant. The flavor taste like summer's peach flair which contains actual pieces of peach fresh fruit. It does not contain dried processed fruit. Wow! It is a justifying sweet ending for a long haul arduous bitter day. Ralph's accurate correctively produces Italian ice as a wondrous delight which is thoroughly satisfying to the taste.
