    Cocomelon Ice Cream
    Joseline B.

It was a great experience! They have delicious flavors, definitely recommend the Reeses ice cream! We ordered the cocomelon and a banana split, and for some reason I wanted a classic banana split but apparently is a build one, and you can make it up with how many extra topping you want ( of course you pay for then) so I wish they had the classic option! For example: we had to picked whipped cream as a topping because is not included (?) but I thought that was a normal banana split ‍

Such a cute place! The girl who served us was really friendly and gave great suggestions for what to order. My friend wanted to try their donut and ice cream and the girl suggested why not both? So she got a donut ice cream sandwich that looks divine. I got a scoop of the coco melon ice cream that looked fun (vanilla ice cream mixed with Skittles) + fruit loops as a fun topping. Would love to come back here for ice cream when we are back in the area :)

I was very disappointed overall. I ordered and paid for a quart of ice cream, took it home, and opened a container that was substantially empty. I can understand icecream settling a bit, but this was a clear intentional not filling of the container. And for the already elevated price, I definitely expected a full amount.

These dessert spots are going to be the death of me. Literal death by chocolate because that's what I get every time I am near one of these places. The windows and street signs drew me and I couldn't help but pop in to see what's up. With liege waffles, donuts, ice cream and so much more on the menu I became slightly overwhelmed. After narrowing down what I wanted I felt a lot better and placed my order. One brownie for me, one marble glazed/frosted donut for the hubs and chocolate covered strawberries for the fam. The donut was frosted at the time it was order and game out pipping hot. Quite messy and a bit difficult to eat but still satisfied that sweet tooth. Nothing was out of this world special but all good just the same. Not to say I wouldn't pop back in to try something else on their lengthy menu. What can I say, I love something sweet.

If you are looking for an option for something sweet and you don't know what to eat, this is a good option. They have donuts, ice cream, xrepes, smoothies, coffee and varieties. You have multiple flavors. I tried the peanut butter one and I loved it. So you have different topping options for what you are going to order, the service is fast. The prices are affordable. If you go with the family your pockets will be good. The only thing was that the tables were a little dirty but there was only one worker. Their service was excellent, I always asked if we wanted to order something else.

A new bright and fun looking ice cream parlor that offers many different flavors of ice cream, gelato, fresh donuts uniquely designed and really delicious looking. It's really not your run of the mill franchise ice cream place nor a fancy gourmet type of place. It's what an ice cream shop should be but this place is a modern version. Its actually refreshing to be able to go in order a desert and actually sit down to enjoy it.

This has easily become my favorite dessert spot in Queens! With seemingly endless flavors of ice cream, more brownies than I can handle, toppings galore, and the waffles I've had yet to try but so excited for--bruh. I'm not a big candy person but boyyyy do I have a sweet tooth and love chocolate and sweets in general. The staff there are all so friendly and if you're looking for instagramable sweets this is the spot (their social media will show you what I mean @eliosicecream). Overall ambiance is very sleek, clean, and genuinely it's a very cute spot right off the 7 train on Queens Blvd. Will be back to satisfy my sweet tooth further! -- Tips --no bathroom on site --before it goes away because it's seasonal, I recommend trying the "Alice in Wonderland" flavor. Interestingly refreshing!

Wend during their first day of opening. They haven't decided on what time they will stay opened until to, but will work out all the kinks after a bit. For now they are giving 20% off due to it being launch week. I'm so glad that Elio's opened in this area. I really want to try all of their flavors and types of desserts. I must say that the service to the ice cream are 100% or rather 5 stars. They gave multiple samples out and was super patient with us. My favorite flavor was the blackberry. I liked how they have such different choices compared to the baskin robbins a few blocks away. They can make soft serve out of the regular ice cream flavors. They blend it all together and make it into one delicious flavor. I blended watermelon sorbet and vanilla all into one and didn't have any regrets.

A must visit spot for late night sweet cravings! Everything is freshly made and irresistibly delicious. The service is exceptional, making the experience even more delightful. has a great ambiance too. Highly recommended!

I was craving a Sundae randomly and we stumbled upon this place and what a joy it was! The staff was so friendly and helpful, gave us so many taste tests, help us make our decisions and even give us a little note to write a wish on the wall. It's clean, inviting and most importantly delicious! I can't wait to come back. This is definitely a must if you like sweets!

Came to this location a couple of days ago and the experience was fantastic, got to try a bunch of different flavors before picking a large to share with my partner with 4 flavors overflowing the cup. I really enjoyed the Nougat Wafer as well as the flavor of the week of Sunflower Seed. In general, I feel like Anita Gelato has a lot of very innovative flavors in regards to chocolate/decadent-type desserts like their pistachio crumble creme brulee. Personally, I don't like their fruity flavors all that much and would probably go for froyo if I was in a mood for tart flavors. However, I feel like sometimes the ice cream is too heavy and too sweet. The first few bites are always great but at the end I'm always really craving water.

Absolutely incredible flavors--s'mores ice cream is so hard to get right, and they nail it. I liked their personalzed story. This wasn't a chain or franchise nor was it osned by a corporate conglomerate but a " Mom & Pop" shop. When I walked by, it was early in the morning and they weren't open but I planned to return. Yesterday, although it was an unusually cold and rainy afternoon in April and I was thinking, I would have preferred buying a hot cup of coffee, I hallened upon Lilo's and decided tonwalk inside. I was immediately impressed by their incredible selection of ice creams that are written in colorful chalk on the walls of their store! To my amazement, they buy homemade ice creams from all over the country and have, if possible the mighedt selection imaginable. They slso sell soft serve yogurt as well as ice cream and have a very impressive selection of " add ons" ( sprinkles, etc) . I was slso surprised by their selection of different cone options including gluten free and pretzel ! Since I was in the mood for coffee, Sonam, offered me two options, and J chose coffee with cookies. It was DELICIOUS! Having read some of the other reviews, especially some of the negative ones regarding their prices, I did not think that the cost was out of line since you canesdy spend over 10 dollars in domebof these high end ice cream shops. Of course, you could go to Mc Donald's and buy a cone for a dollar but you might not be eating anything that has milk or cream. ! I loved Lilo Creamery and while it's many blocks from where I live, I'll definitely be returning soon!

The spots closest to us were closed, so we decided to make it a whole thing--me, my mom, my son, and of course the dog. Full family ice cream scavenger hunt. We ended up at Van Leeuwen, and the moment we saw the shop, we were so excited. I remember when there wasn't a storefront--when it was just the truck roaming around Brooklyn. My mom and I used to go all the way from Jersey to Brooklyn just for that ice cream. The very first time we tried it, we had just finished dinner at Sweet Chick's, saw the truck, and said, "Let's get a sweet treat." I remember getting a ginger ice cream back then, and it was so good it stuck with me. So seeing the shop now just felt full circle. We sat inside and ate our ice cream, which made it even better. I loved the bright decor--it's clean, cheerful, and just makes you want to sit and enjoy your scoop instead of rushing out. It felt welcoming and fun, especially with the whole family there. I got the vegan mango sticky rice, which was absolute perfection. So delicious. I also did the strawberry matcha, and that combination was everything. The flavors at Van Leeuwen are just so good--you really can't go wrong. I also love that you can sample, because sometimes you need to taste first before committing, and both of my choices were a win. My mom did an espresso flavor paired with peanut butter, which she loved. And of course, my son kept it classic with vanilla and sprinkles--because kids are going to kid. Their vanilla bean is really good too--simple but done right. I love that you can buy pints inside or even create your own pint if you don't want just one flavor. And then there's Winter Wednesdays--buy two pints, get one free. Like... what are we even talking about? Go get the ice cream. Plus kids eat free on Wednesdays. We're New Yorkers--we eat ice cream in the winter. This just makes sense. Niya helped us, and she was so sweet and helpful. Great energy. I got my ice cream in a waffle bowl, my mom did too, and my son got a regular cup. The waffle bowl was crispy, fresh, buttery--everything you want. I also love seeing the growth--from a truck to storefronts to being in supermarkets now. It's nostalgic for me, and the best part is the quality has stayed consistent. The ice cream is always on point. Go in, sit down, enjoy the vibe, treat yourself, bring your kids, your family--get a scoop, get a waffle bowl, take advantage of Winter Wednesdays. You really can't go wrong.

After the hype faded out in the 2010s, I thought I'd never see another Pinkberry again. Imagine my surprise when I saw this place across the street from where I was dining with a couple of friends. It was inevitable that I'd make a beeline for it right after my dinner. As usual, I got the original tart with my favorite mix-ins: a scoop of melted chocolate crunch, cheesecake bites, mochi, strawberry, kiwi, and blueberries. The froyo wasn't as creamy as what I was used to, but it was still really good and satisfying to my craving. Similar to most Pinkberries, the shop itself was a bit small in space, so it's more fitting for a quick visit. I ordered the dairy-free coconut, which is the only vegan flavor they offer. It tasted pretty good and had a nice creamy texture. I do find it to be expensive and I don't like how they serve it for you. You have the option to get with or without toppings for a standard price, but you're only limited to 4 toppings, and any additional topping is an upcharge. They put the toppings for you with a tiny scoop, so the price difference didn't seem worthwhile in my opinion. There was a line and multiple DoorDash orders going out, so the service was a bit slow, but not a crazy wait time. The shop was pretty small, but has the same frozen yogurt look as other places, with limited seating. Given that there is another frozen yogurt shop legit 2 stores away, I just wanted to provide a comparison. 16 Handles has more vegan options, but tastes more like soft serve ice cream compared to yogurt. It's cheaper, you can control the toppings to ice cream ratio, but it seems like there are usually kids/students around. Pinkberry only has 1 vegan option, tastes more like yogurt, but they're sparse with the toppings and it's more expensive. However, there wasn't any many kids, I assume due to the counter service rather than serving yourself the yogurt. They both provided similar experiences in terms of customer service. Both frozen yogurt shops, though entirely different experiences. I would return here if I wanted more of a yogurt flavor, but wouldn't bother with the toppings. This place, like 16 Handles, is not Ike neighboring upscale ice cream shops in UES. It's cozy, a 2010 yogurt shop vibe, and is solid for casual ice cream. I would return!
