Horchata cappuccino was a bit sweet but overall delicious. It was over priced though. Service was good. Cafe is small but cute. There was a decent outdoor seating.

Daniel really knows what he's doing, he's kind and very knowledgeable. I don't typically go out to grab coffee in the city because of how inconsistent places tend to be- but he's got me looking forward to coming in for a coffee. The espresso is never bitter, the milk is always creamy and smooth, and the location is clean. The whole cafe has a feeling of community- when I stay in to sip and read the people coming in and out strike up conversations and are very friendly with each other. Its a nice change of pace. While I only come in Wednesdays, I have a feeling that the staff all around at this location is friendly and has fostered this space for the community. Reminds me of home when I feel overwhelmed in the city.

Husband and got coffees and hot chocolate here. The flavor was really good but it was not worth the price. $22 for two drinks and they weren't even that big.

Small and cozy coffee spot I got to read and enjoy a Coquito latte in a bag. I also had a chicken and potato empanada which was so tasty and delicious. I liked how friendly and welcoming they are here. My Coquito latte was with the rum coffee beans which was absolutely different and delicious. I ended up buying a bag of the rum coffee beans to make at home so I cannot wait to try making it myself. I definitely will come back every time I am in the area.

$8 coffee for just milk & sugar :( Could not finish

I ordered a signature latte the Dulce de Leche... their coffee is just a cup of sugar. Not real coffee. Would not recommend. Esp for $8! They also tried to upsell me +$3 to use "special house blend coffee beans" ? I felt scammed so glad I caught it before I got charged.

What a beautiful awesome coffee shop. First time I've been here it was amazing and the Coquito whiskey infused coffee was amazing. The lady's here were super sweet and amazing generally, the sweetest people I have ever met. Come here and enjoy Puerto Rican coffee.

I discovered 787 Coffee after a friend told me about their horchata. They serve it with rum or whiskey (or plain, which is also delicious) and I always find myself going back for more. Beyond the truly great coffee the service, the vibe is awesome. Lively but not loud.

Friendly customer service, really charming. Cold brew was nice and strong. Flavors are very unique. Altogether, highly recommended.

Authentic, inclusive, welcoming spot in an unsuspecting location- what a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle, wow. Our service was intentional, personal, genuine! Comfy seating, cozy environment with cultural representation. And the COFFEE?! Smoothest milk in my latte.

    Such a unique menu!

I love 787 so much. Everything about this coffee shop is the best, from the cozy vibe inside and out, to the sustainably sourced single origin coffee, to the delicious flavored lattes they offer. Today on the first warm day of spring, I stopped in to get an iced horchata latte. I'd had the hot version before, but that barely holds a candle to this!! The barista recommended a rum infusion, which was the perfect accompaniment to such a sweet, spiced latte! When you have your drink, you can sit down on one of the benches along the wall inside the cafe, outside at one of their many yellow tables, or next door, where they have a workspace, which is open to all. "787 Work It" has plenty of tables, comfy chairs, a printer, and outlets to charge up your devices. They have meditation frequencies playing and warm ambient lighting that surprisingly makes it a really great place to set up shop for a few hours.

Wow! This is truly a treat yourself place! I got the dirty chai and was blown away by the drink! They give them to you in a cute pouch. The actually coffee shop itself is very welcoming and has plenty of seating outdoors and the storefront over. The barista was also very friendly. Definitely on the expensive end for coffee, with a pour over at $8.

This is a little hole in the wall place but very warm and inviting inside. It was my first time here and they could tell-- they took the time to welcome me and my sister in, explaining their origins and the menu to us. I said I liked something a bit sweeter and she recommended the coquito latte (which is what I was planning to get anyway so it was a win on all sides). I got the rum-infused iced coquito latte, and it was DELICIOUS. Like definitely sweet but simultaneously not overpoweringly so. The coffee was smooth, not bitter at all, and it was just a drink that drank nicely. You know? I'm a slow drink drinker because I like making it last, but this one disappeared because it was just that good. There are other specialty drinks that they sell here including the dulce de leche latte, horchata, and others, and I am absolutely going to go back and try them all at some point. This was on the more expensive side at $8+ so it's a treat yourself kind of latte, but I'd say it's worth a try. I was also able to try their chicken empanada which was had a warm and hearty chicken filling inside. I thought it was great, despite the fact that I was scared going into it because the outside was so pale.

They have a table to pickup preorders so you don't have to wait in the main line. I ordered a dozen for $39. You can select your assortment. Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.

When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

We were a little late for our reservation, and they gave our table away, which was quite annoying. However, the service, hospitality, and food more than made up for it. Someone came over to apologize for the mix up and offered us complimentary white wine while we waited for another table to open up. The wine was delicious! When we were finally seated, we started with some drinks. I got the Speranza, and it was light, fresh, and delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bread basket brought to the table, as it's a rarity in nyc these days. We split a burrata amongst the table. Loved the addition of figs. I ordered the rigatoni all'aragosta for my dish, which was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. There was a decent portion of lobster in the dish, and I couldn't even finish all of it, I was so full. One of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while. My friends ordered the bolognese and the fettuccine alla nerano, and they enjoyed their dishes as well! We skipped dessert this time, but I would definitely be back for it. I also want to try the paccheri next time, as well as their coffee shop in the mornings! Overall, a well executed restaurant with great ambience (would be great for a date night with the dim lighting and ability to hear each other speak). The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.
