Absolutely love this little neighborhood coffee shop! Let's start with the main factor - the coffee! This is truly because of the quality of the coffee they have. No complex , made up drinks, just plain coffee. To go with the coffee they have some really good pastries. I've only tried the pistachio muffin and it was amazing. Moist cake filled with pistachio cream! The place is small, but wow they did an absolutely amazing job to make it not feel crowded, super cozy with a comfy couch and some benches. There's even a small table by the wall for computers. That said, I've very rarely seen anyone on a computer which is another reason I like this place. People are reading actual books, writing on notebooks - or just talking. It's like you've gone back in time. And finally- the staff. Very friendly service and inviting to hang out without any rush. LB coffee is a great local neighborhood coffee shop on the upper east side. It's a fairly small spot with very limited seating inside and a couple of tables outside. A limited assortment of pastries to purchase. They have dog treats available as well. The coffee is locally roasted while also offering speciality drinks and teas. read more

Brooke knows my order and i love hearing "the regular?" when i come in. her service makes my day! the za'atar pita is still my favorite thing to get but you have to try their chocolate muffin! it's always so friendly and warm in the store. you have to check it out! read more

What a great addition this coffee shop is to the Upper east side. I went on their soft opening day and have been coming back ever since. It is small but has such cozy vibes and there is a little sitting area where you can enjoy your coffee, Tea and pastries. They have added a little area on the back wall its a mini library. Customers can bring books to add to it. What a fun idea. The baristas who work here are some of the nicest people and the owners here are super nice and friendly. They also have very little out door seating. They also make amazing coffee drinks. And if you want flavors they use wonderful tasting syrups to make that happen. I have bought a mint iced latte here which tasted like holiday in a cup! It was super good. I have also bought cappuccinos from here. Super tasty! This is a must try place if you are in the area. read more

Absolutely one of my favorite coffees in the UES! I got a caramel latte and it came out super quick after ordering. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me as someone that doesn't usually go for a bitter latte. The touch of caramel wasn't super overpowering either.
