We had a hard time finding this place cuz it's in a mart shared with other stores, including a grocery. 5/5 service- Exceptional service, so friendly. Would go back just for the service. 5/5 mango Swiss roll ($6.79) - the best thing I got- light, creamy, not too sweet. 4/5 pistachio ricotta cake: ($5.50) Really good-light, spongy, creamy, very sweet. Top layer is sponge cake, middle is cream, & bottom is sticky, sweet pistachio cream. Wish the pistachio cream was a bit less sweet. 3/5 napoleon ($5.79)- decent- crispy, flaky, wish there was more cream Macarons (set of 3 for $4): 4/5 Lemon: nice, strong lemon flavor 3/5 Chocolate: decent, wish the chocolate flavor was stronger, pales in comparison to lemon 2/5 Pistachio: you can taste the pistachio, but was too sweet for me 4/5 coffee lovers smoothie- contains PB, banana, hint of coffee 3/5 sweet cheese almond toast: This is good, pretty standard, not too sweet.

This cafe inside of Koufuku Market offers a variety of Asian pastries as well as drinks. When I came, I just got their drinks. I got their black sesame latte and their matcha latte. The black sesame latte was a bit better than their matcha but the paste they used did not blend well with the coffee at all. So, when I drank it, it was basically just drinking coffee with thick chunks of black sesame paste. On the other hand, their matcha latte tasted like nothing (I mean, in the pictures it's almost pale/white). Would not recommend their drinks, maybe their pastries are better?

Found this great spot thanks to Yelp. They describe themselves as a modern Chinese bakery and cafe. They have a great selection of pastries that are bought in by their bakers every morning which have classic Chinese pastries as well as some with a twist. They also offer coffee and interesting drinks as well. There are specials they have during the week posted around the business. Service was great and quick. I got the pork floss cake with taro filling, the Portuguese tart and the taro jelly square. The taro square was my least favorite of the three. It had a lighter taro flavor than I expected. I believe it may have been coconut based since i tasted a hint of it. I really loved the Portuguese tart and the pork floss cake. The Portuguese tart had a nice flakey crust and then a super creamy and thick custard filling. The pork floss cake was really light and fluffier than I expected. Light like a cloud. I would definitely get those two again. Definitely would recommend this spot.

The restaurant felt homey and I could tell there were many regulars and other return visitors, for good reason! Ordered: Masala Chai ($4.50)- this tasted authentic, was nicely spiced, and wasn't too sweet. I only wish the cup was bigger. Steamed momo ($12+)- I like how you have the option to mix and match. We ordered the mixed vegetable and the oyster mushroom and surprisingly I much preferred the oyster mushroom variety. The mixed vegetable momo tasted more earthy to me. Himalayan rice set ($20.5)- this was a very nice assortment- there was rice, lentil dal, your protein of choice- (I chose beef brisket), stir fried cabbage, broccoli rabe, pickled vegetables and crisp flatbread. The only downside in my opinion was that the brisket wasn't too tender and I didn't love the beef flavoring or preparation. The rest of the items were so delicious! I've been thinking about this meal ever since I left the restaurant. You don't want to skip this place.

I just feel like the flavors could have been better on everything I got. I had one dish that the The chili chicken was sweet and spicy but it wasn't particularly better than any other spicy chicken I ever had. The jhol momo tasted cheesy which was unexpected and didn't go with the sauce or broth. The roti was more tortilla sized n pretty flat. Maybe that's just authentic to Tibetan cuisine. The empanada things were fine.

My bacon egg and cheese had no seasoning or taste whatsoever, it felt like I was just eating texture. Their signature hot chocolate also just tasted watered down and from a machine Service - felt off.. the cashier was an objectively nice lady but there was no hello, thanks, please, or anything like that. There were a few times I had to repeat my order because the barista would choose to use the loud af coffee grinder (conveniently right next to the cashier and where you place an order) when I was ordering (and other customers as well) Ambiance - to each their own, but not my vibe. There's a very edgy dramatic vibe where they play epic music you'd hear in boss battles and I think that's what they're going for at Artpresso Wasn't what I was looking for at 9am.

Drinks: 3/5 Service: 3/5…read more Ambiance: 3/5 A cute little coffee shop by a Target and the train station. I've passed by here multiple times but never really had a chance to try it. Me and my girl was looking for a coffee shop that was laptop friendly and closed late since we came after work. I was a bit disappointed that they did not serve any alcoholic beverages as I saw a lot of good reviews on that portion. We came, we sat down on a Saturday night. There was only one person at the front and it seemed she was also managing the serving part so it did get pretty hectic at some point. We decided to order the Budae Jigae (Hot Pot), there is no way to alter the spicy level so for those who love spicy spicy, this is for you. Me and my friend was really disturbed by the fact that we were treated some type of way. Maybe it's because we weren't Korean or? Service was slow asf. It took a really long time for them to serve me my iced strawberry matcha drink. And even longer for the food. It was also hard to tag her down, and she seemed pretty annoyed that we had to ask her for multiple items. We were a party of 2 and she only gave us one set of items. I went again by myself the next day to see if it was better service and it was pretty packed. There was actually 3-4 people at the front but even then it was so hard to get someone to take my order, ask for napkins, for the check, etc. While there was no time limit on Saturday, there was a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes on Sunday. would I go again? Maybe, but it's def veering towards the no side.

This is actually cheesecake rather than the lighter Japanese version, with a strong black sesame flavor. Hojicha creme brulee: this came as part of a promotion, and the taste is strong. They do brulee the top on the spot and my sugar top got a little too burnt. Oolong tea cheesecake: still good, would get this again still. Lighter flavor but the floral flavor does come out at the end of a bite. Coconut milk jelly: the lightest of the flavor but still sweet and flavorful enough to come through. There's a dusting of graham crackers and strawberry jelly to complement. We also got a hot matcha jasmine latte but it was actually cold. It seems like it normally comes iced and perhaps they have no way of warming up the jasmine part. There's a points program and tons of promotions that rotate. There have also been different desserts that rotate so I'll have to keep coming back to try more. They have a lunch special too where you can get a drink or dessert for less cost.
