If you love creative desserts that look like art but taste even better, this place is a gem. Every dish here feels like a little experience -- from the presentation to the flavors. I tried the Green Tea Lava Cake and honestly, it's one of those desserts that makes you stop mid-conversation. Perfect balance of warm matcha, cold ice cream, and just the right amount of sweetness. The vibe is cozy yet lively, great for a date night or a late-night catch-up with friends. Staff were super friendly and didn't rush us, even when the place was packed. If you're in the mood for something that surprises your taste buds and looks Instagram-worthy, The Spot Dessert Bar delivers every time. Definitely worth the wait if there's a line.

It was my first time at Spot Dessert in this location. It's different from their other locations. Here is more of a shared space with another vendor/food court setting. It wasn't very clear if it's self service or table service. My friends and I picked a table near the door and looked at the menu. Since no one came to take our order, I went up to the counter to ask if we were supposed to order there or wait for someone to take our order. She told me that they could come to us but we were not sitting at their tables. Mind you, there were no specifications of what tables belongs to whom. Anyway, I ordered at the counter since I was already up there. We relocated to the table that belonged to them after. We ordered: Golden Toast - had this years ago and loved it. While it's really good, it's quite sweet for my palate now. Cookie Camp - this sounder basic but was quite phenomenal. 10/10! Chai Brandy - I was the only one who liked this lol. It's for people who like Chai for sure Cute spot for amazing desserts. Just make sure you're at the right tables!

So happy Astoria has a location now! Came here later at night (9pm) on lunar new year in the middle of the week. Fast service! I was slightly thrown off by the location being shared by Pokeworks on the sign outside. But it's nice to have options for both in the same dining area. Good location near 30th Ave as well. Had the cookie and the matcha dish. Always delicious! Same as other Spot locations. Will def be coming back. Love that they are open until midnight on weeknights. And there were a lot of other groups also coming in after us on a Wednesday night.

I actually came here to visit the Pokéworks that shares the restaurant space, but after seeing so many people order these delectable desserts, I had to get something for myself. I had the matcha affogato. I love an affogato but never had a matcha version. It was cute but definitely did not compare to the original. My kiddo really wanted ice-cream so I got her a single scoop of their mango sorbet, and absolutely loved it. My son had one of their mango passion fruit specialty drinks. I tasted it and thought it was OK, but not my cup of tea. I really wish we had the time to sit down and enjoy their golden toast, what looked to be a really yummy treat. Almost everyone dining there was ordering this particular dish. It looked super decadent. I'll definitely get one next time I'm in the area.

I really enjoy the desserts here. It can get pretty busy towards the end of the night, but the service is always top tier. Ambience is a little strange with the poke bar right next to you while you dine in but I get making the most out of the space. While I am very high on the food, the drinks are just Ok for me. I highly recommend the golden toast it was PHENOMENAL.

A random spot to have dessert after our date nite dinner and while yelping this came up! The desserts all looked so different but delicious so we stopped in on a busy friday nite, and were seated quickly! Mind they're open until 1am so that's always good to know. The staff was very attentive and helpful with the questions we asked about this unique dessert. We went with these two the Golden Toast honey buttered toast, strawberries, whipped cream, cookie crumbs, condensed milk and the Cookie Camp fresh half baked marshmallow cookie, pretzels, cookie crumbs, chocolate sauce, condensed milk ice cream. Let me just say while both were amazing the Golden Toast was out of this world incredible I have never had a dessert like this and it was not overly sweet but had this crunch to the toast which was great with the ice cream and strawberries! This is now one of our go to spots for sure !! We can't wait to come back and try something else, well maybe haha.

It was my first time visiting this Spot location but I have been to the one in Flushing many times before. We were greeted by the nice waitress and she explained the restaurant's concept. We ordered the cookie camp and the matcha lava cake. It was sooo good. The waitress was kind and let us video her pouring chocolate on the dessert. Our water was refilled without asking. We will definitely be back to try the teas and other desserts.

Spot Dessert is in a shared space with Pokeworks. The matcha lava cake was delicious and the teas are pretty good too. Service was great and friendly. They were constantly refilling our water glasses.

Service was amazing and my dessert and drink were well balanced.. was not too sweet and the sesame ice cream (first time tasting) blow my mind.

I came here for I guess the official grand opening where you got a buy one, get one free dessert if you were of the first 100 people to show up. I got here early, figuring I'd encounter a long line outside but I didn't so that was nice. I got the cookie camp, which you can't get to go and it's just chocolate heaven along with a seasonal dessert that I took home. I still prefer the cookie camp but the staff was very nice and gave me hope about resolving the rewards tracking debacle that remains since I got a new email address from the one I signed up for. I'm glad to see this franchise thriving since the desserts are truly a foodie adventure. This location is also connected with an Asian themed quick service restaurant that had an interesting menu that felt ideal for an office lunch.

One of my favorite dessert bars has opened up a new location in Astoria. This new location shares the space with Pokeworks and is conveniently located near the 30th Avenue stop on the N train. I went last week when they first opened and it was quite crowded, as would be expected. I have in the past gotten their cookies and egg tarts to go but never any of their desserts. Since there were no available tables during my visit, I decided to try take out for the first time and ordered their classic Matcha Lava cake ($14.95). This is actually my favorite dessert on their menu. It is a dark chocolate lava cake with matcha, chocolate pearls and served with green tea ice cream. The cake and ice cream were individually packed, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, the cake had opened and the dark chocolate/matcha filling had oozed out all over the container. It didn't look so appetizing and I was so bummed. The ice cream fared better and was only slightly melted. Everything still tasted great but the whole experience was slightly diminished for me. I honestly will not be ordering any takeout of their desserts in the future. I think for these kinds of desserts, the presentation is a huge part of the whole eating experience, and you just don't get that with takeout. I still would recommend trying them out if you are in the neighborhood. Tip: Earn rewards by downloading their app.

It's a nice clean spot to go to after dinner and continue chatting. Lots of seating and new, so facilities are clean. Service was good, everyone was super friendly. The food was also great- I've been to their location at St Marks and the matcha lava cake tastes equally as yummy. Good default dessert "Spot."

    Hey Jasmine

The service is always so great here. Everyone is always so sweet and accommodating! The desserts come out so quick! And are truly mouth watering!!

Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.
