I was so excited about this location opening up in Astoria because I was obsessed with the Bayridge location! They are located right off the 46th St. train station. They're open till 12 AM on weekdays which is amazing especially for those who go to the gym at night! They offer all types of milkshakes, protein shakes, acai / pitaya bowls, etc - menu can be overwhelming but everything I've tried so far is fresh & tasty. My favorite is the Bora nut, the acai isn't too sweet but sweet enough to satisfy your craving! Definitely has become a go-to spot!

Receipt showing that my gift card was charged even though I was told it was not and was not provided with the food that I purchased.

BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE ENTERING THIS PLACE I received a $75 gift card. Both times I visited this establishment, I had a terrible experience. I came as a regular customer and always tipped 20%, yet I left feeling robbed. They charged the gift card, but the staff insisted it wasn't processed and did not provide me with my food and then blamed me for the issue. It was a horrible experience. This business clearly has no problem stealing from its customers. I will never go back. And if you care about supporting honest local businesses, you shouldn't go either -- because you could be their next victim. The last time I went, I was with my friend. He ordered a custom açaí bowl and specifically did not ask for bananas because he is severely allergic. When the bowl was brought to our table, it had bananas -- luckily, it was visible and he didn't eat it. After he made them aware of an issue, the employee went in the back to make a new açaí bowl and started speaking badly about my friend to a co-worker. They spoke so loudly they he heard everything that they said. After waiting several minutes the employee came back to the table that they had no more açaí and would not be able to help him. It was extremely unprofessional and humiliating. I was foolish to give this place a second chance. Terrible. Just terrible. I truly regret ever going back.

Bora Bora Smoothie Café, a juice bar chain that originated from Kuwait, opened their sixth NYC location in Astoria yesterday. It is located on busy Steinway St next to the M/R train station. The interior is spacious, bright and clean with plenty of seating. You can place your order at the counter or at the kiosk located near the entrance. The menu is pretty extensive for a juice bar. Along with the usual smoothies, juices, and energy drinks, the menu also boasts acai, pitaya, matcha and coconut bowls, milkshakes, croffles, crepes, ice cream, pastries, sandwiches and more. I honestly was overwhelmed with the choices but ended up ordering the Boratella bowl ($10.99) and a Nutella Custard Croffle ($5.99). Can you tell how much I like Nutella? The Boratella bowl has acai, granola, strawberries, bananas and topped with Nutella, peanut butter and coca nibs. The acai was refreshing and slightly tangy and the fruits were perfectly ripe. They were not stingy with the toppings which I really liked. Would definitely order this again. The Nutella Custard Croffle has Nutella, cream cheese, strawberries sandwiched between two croffles (croissant baked in a waffle iron). This was an okay dessert. I think I actually would have preferred it without the cream cheese, but others might disagree. Also, it's a little bit messy to eat, as soon as you bite down the filling of cream cheese, Nutella and strawberries comes oozing out in every direction. Yes, I would go back again. I haven't made even a dent in trying out their menu. Next time, I plan on dining in Instead of getting my order to go. The pictures on the menu looked amazing and dining in allows you to experience the full presentation.

I've ordered food to go from this place a few times and recently got to eat at the location. Great food, and very good packaging if you order delivery. The ambiance of the physical location is very nice and relaxing. Very nice decor and seating. The chocolates and syrups/sauces are very rich. The drinks are excellent. They have good and friendly service at the location. I will definitely continue to visit and order from them. I highly recommend!

Fresh fruit and a Smoothie Indonesian dessert bar come to Astoria. I must admit they spent considerable time on the property's design and decor. I found the smoothie bar well thought out; my sandwich and smoothie were okay. Are they worth a second look? Yes, I need to understand the menu a bit better.

This is supposed to be strawberry ice cream but it's not what there picture shows

So this is supposed to be strawberry ice cream. It does not look like this in the picture at all. It's just syrup with vanilla ice cream and some fruity flakes. This place is fake as.... The mango smoothie did not taste like mango and I asked the guy to take the dirty plates off the table that were left and he said it was "it's ok", what the hell. They gave me my money back which I did appreciate it but they can use some customer training

wasnt expecting much but the turkey avo croffle was insanely good and the bora bora crepe felt like the most luxurious dessert ive eaten in years. its a large space but feels mostly empty l. i think the food they make is actually very tasty but its quite expensive. wouldnt recommend the halloumi croffle unless thats your thing.

A very welcoming smoothie and dessert bar near the Steinway stop! The menu can be an overload but they have many things ranging from smoothies to acai bowls, coffee, croffles and crepes. We got the coco bowl which has a coconut based topped with strawberries, bananas, warmed Nutella, and almonds and it was fantastic. Healthy to some extent and super refreshing. The base wasn't a strong coconut but it was creamy and thick. Best enjoyed there in my opinion!

Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.

Let's just say I left this place very satisfied. I had my basic yet delicious ice cream scoops. Yum. I am currently following a strict diet regimen for one more month, but after that, I will definitely come back for some of their tasty ice cream. My son, wife, and friends were also enjoying their sweets. This is a great place. They have seats, but it gets really busy and there is usually a bit of a wait. Yet that is not a bad thing. It shows how popular the place is. If you are looking for sweets, come check this place out.

The vanilla ice cream sat delicately on top of the soda. The soda wasn't overly sweet and fizzy. I had time to enjoy the ice cream and the soda separately. My daughter had vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. There was not a sprinkle in sight when she was done. This isn't our first time. Nor will this be our last. While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things.
