The cutest cafe that I've been too in Jackson Heights. You walk in and order at the counter but just past is a doorway. Go through and you will enter a narrow seating area. You can grab your number and wait for your pastry or meal. I got the grilled chicken sandwich. It was incredible. It came with a side salad that had grated cheese on top. It literally was the perfect lunch. On this particular day, the WiFi was spotty, but this won't stop me from coming back and trying to work from here. Especially since they have a decent chai. I was warned that it's a tad on the sweet side, and it is. I'm not mad about it though. And I appreciated the staff telling me. They were all so very sweet. read more

I came back to give this place another try and the only thing I regretted was not requesting to have my pastries warmed. I opted for the pistachio croissant and requested it to be warmed. You taste the quality of the pistachio sweet and nutty. I also ordered the empanadas, the chicken empanada was delicious with a good amount of chicken. The cafe's cute to dine in & I truly appreciated the hospitality of the staff. My recommendation is to request to warm your items so you don't miss out on the delicious quality of your meal. Their baked empanadas are absolutely fantastic & the green sauce that comes with it is fantastic (I'm going to safely assume it's homemade but if it's not I need to know what it is)! My favorites are the chicken & the beef. The staff, ambiance, & coffee/juices here are great too- what's not to love? I hope this gem stays in the area for years to come. read more

Tucked in the heart of Jackson Heights on 37th ave, this is one of my favorite cafes that I'll never get tired of. I went for the first time in 2023 with my friend and they put a spin on the pumpkin spice latte served in an actual pumpkin! So thrilled that Andre has opened up this coffee shop for so many reasons. First, his story is really the American dream: he began working in the garage where I park my car. A bit of ingenuity, saving one's money, doing research, and, in this country, you end up having your own business! And what a business. The coffee is unique and fresh, the pastries are homemade, and it's really a pleasure to step inside. I ended up ordering an iced chai latte, the guava croissant, and an açaí bowl. The açaí bowl was incredible and the guava croissant was fun to try but not necessarily something I would get again. I loveddd my drink as well and after trying some sips of my friend's drinks it seems like everything on the menu is a solid pick! I love this little hole in the wall. They have limited seating: an area at the back probably large enough for five people. Three small side tables for two people at a time and counter seating with a window that opens to the outside. Two stools inside and I don't remember if any were outside. They have the best selection of milks to choose from. Way more than Starbucks offers. Their drink menu is pretty basic but you can change it up with them. They have a food menu - I have yet to come for a real bite. I did, however, try their guava mango empanada and been tempted by the other treats displayed in the glass case. The girls behind the counter have always been patient, friendly, and helpful. Place is clean and crisp. Whenever I need an escape, I come here to refresh. Happy eats! read more

We stayed in Jackson Heights for a few days and had breakfast here twice. The food and coffee were great! Had the drip coffee and was some of the smoothest we've ever had. BEC sandwich was excellent, particularly the brioche bun, and came with a very nice side salad. We also tried the waffles and Açaí bowls and everything was great! The place was very neat and nicely laid out. There was enough seating but I'm sure it fills up at times. Was nice to see the rapport between the regulars and the staff. read more

Why has it taken me so long to wander into this Sweeet mom and pop shop? Well, at least I won't be making that mistake again. Out and about taking care of tasks, I was feeling a little peckish. I thought we might try out a nibble as we almost passed the shop. The couple at OTM were so nice and patient with us as we asked about everything in the display case that we bought a few croissants and a Chipa (new to me) to take home. YUM! They got me at Nutella croissant! A couple of days later, I was curious to check out their empanadas. I couldn't help but to clear out the 7 they had left. So delicate, flaky and flavorful! I stuck a few in the air fryer for lunch and patted myself on the back for being so greedy. I shared! I will have to check out their sandwiches the next time. read more

Ya'll!!! If you find yourself in Jackson Heights this is the coffee shop to visit! The beef empanada was like birrias and the dough is so soft and melts in your mouth (pause). The coffee is a perfect Colombian blend and the syrups are not too sugary, they're real syrup and I love that for us. The women working there are all bilingual (Spanish and English) and they are super sweet and kind! The space is small but extremely clean and it's a great place for a first date, a lil WFH, or a solo relaxation date. This was my second visit there and I can't wait for 5,6,7,8 lol. My first visit there I was able to meet the owner and he is very ambitious and about his business. He talked about his humble beginnings and how this shop is owned by both he and his mother. Stumbled upon this little cafe by mistake last week after my dentist appointment. Parked right in front and it caught my eye so I decided to give it a try. Ordered one of their "Super Moon" smoothies which consisted of spinach, apple, cucumber, celery and pineapple blended with almond milk. Super refreshing and tasty. Well balanced too. What a great place!! Honestly! Service was very friendly. You could tell who were the regulars but even if this was my first time I felt very welcomed! And the food! Wow!!! If I could give this cafe a 4.5 review I would but, I'm giving it a 4 because the table surfaces. I walked in on a bustling Monday morning, and although it was busy I was still greeted by the barista. He asked me to give them a moment, and I understood because it was clearly busy. After a few moments he asked what I was having and being that I told him I was having my beverage to stay he said I could have a seat. Just about every seat inside was full so I opted to have my macchiato with half & half at the little bar outside. Walked around the area after some shopping and found this cute little cafe in between shops. Was greeted upon entry and noticed a cool espresso machine and grinder, set up gave me new wave vibes. I had a long walk home so I chose Cold Brew for some fuel. They had iced coffee too. I wish I hadn't stopped by McDs for breakfast as when I came in I noticed they had a pastry case with assorted options and what looked like fresh house made empanadas. They take CC and cash options, unsure if there's an extra charge for credit/Apple Pay I must have misheard but for $5.50 I got a nice Cold Brew with milk and sugar. It was very tasty and the venue had air conditioner and clean cozy sitting area in the back. I'll certainly be back whenever I come shopping, I want to get a better idea of the cafes identity and what coffee they use. Employees were very friendly and helpful. The coffee is excellent and they have the best breakfast sandwich in Queens: the Over the Moon sandwich. Pesto and fresh tomatoes is always winning combo, plus fluffy scrambled eggs and generous amounts of creamy green sauce on toasted ciabatta. Very cute spot I saw on a FB group called eat something new in queens - highly recommend the group! Originally I wanted to come to try the guava croissant but we were too full from our previous lunch so we only got drinks. I consider myself to be a matcha connoisseur so I was pleasantly surprised when the iced matcha that I got looked kind of light in color actually packed a punch. The matcha was pretty strong along with the oat milk. Not mad at all by the matcha thought i would've liked it to been stronger. My bf got the iced passion fruit lemonade and it was super tart which he enjoyed but made me pucker up. Would love to come back to try some of the coffee and pastries. They use devocion coffee so that's a great sign for me. However seating is limited as the space is quite small. read more
