Very cute spot I saw on a FB group called eat something new in queens - highly recommend the group! Originally I wanted to come to try the guava croissant but we were too full from our previous lunch so we only got drinks. I consider myself to be a matcha connoisseur so I was pleasantly surprised when the iced matcha that I got looked kind of light in color actually packed a punch. The matcha was pretty strong along with the oat milk. Not mad at all by the matcha thought i would've liked it to been stronger. My bf got the iced passion fruit lemonade and it was super tart which he enjoyed but made me pucker up. Would love to come back to try some of the coffee and pastries. They use devocion coffee so that's a great sign for me. However seating is limited as the space is quite small. read more

Beautiful interior! Marble countertops! Symmetrically decorative. The wood and plant combination creates a relaxing ambience. I see chairs and circular tables which makes it welcoming for a date or for catching up on book reading. It's lovely inside. The lighting is nice also. The people who work here are friendly and approachable. I love the vibe inside. I highly recommend walking and checking it out. read more

The place is very cute and it's nice that there is a cafe in the neighborhood to study/work. There is also a cellphone repair place stand within the cafe. My husband got a cappuccino and it was good. I got a macchiato and it was burnt, unfortunately. The place was not busy so I think the staff members need additional training to avoid this from happening again. read more

The little coffee shop charges to much money for a small cup of coffee and one spinach empanada which I paid $9! That's exorbitant and a highway robbery! There's nothing special about their coffee or empanada, I had better! And they expect you to give a tip. Too much for a mediocre food. read more

Great food and coffee. The service is always friendly. The place is small but super cute and cozy with a table outside as well. Everything I've had is delicious and fresh. read more

My second favorite coffee place, and I love that they carry my favorite decaf coffee devocion

What a little gem in JH! They offer vegan options for folks who are looking for that ( I mean pistachio milk?!) Thank you! They offer a lot more. The staff is welcoming and joyful, the vibes are positive. I highly recommend and will be coming by to try more items on the menu. read more

So sad- I was so excited for this new cafe since it's so close to my work! I ordered a latte and the milk was expired. How are you a coffee shop and you serve moldy milk? When you are just opening too? The coffee was mushy and thick and very very sour when I first sipped and was honestly gaslighting myself for a second but after leaving my latte to sit for about 3 seconds, it looked like this-see photo for reference. I remember the man who made the coffee was weirdly super focused on the people outside on the street so he kept blanking out and stopping to stare while I was trying to retrieve my coffee and pay. So maybe it was a one time thing? Either way, you should drink some coffee yourself if you're that tired at the grand opening of your new cafe! read more

Made a stop here for work on a recent trip and really enjoyed the staff and the espresso drinks they took time and crafted perfectly. And a personal bug of mine, places that serve an espresso in a paper cup to you... they made sure to ask if it was to go or to stay. Lovely crema, perfectly poured, smooth and strong to the finish, offered with sugar which I declined. Then I plunked down and enjoyed some time in this tiniest of spaces. While I love the vibe of the neighborhoods in this area I've always missed an occasion spot to get an espresso poured properly. And now there are enough. A good thing. I'll definitely return here for a jolt next time I'm in the area and the need arises. read more

Saw some posts that featured this cafe and wanted to come check it out. Honestly, I was a little underwhelmed with everything. Though the staff were nice, a few seemed frazzled or just unsure of how to take orders, and that was when we were the only ones there. I can't imagine how chaotic it would get if there was a long line. Service was also very slow and they took a very long time (~30 minutes) with no updates on when our items would come out. Maybe we came on a training day, but if that's the case, they may want to reconsider how they train staff... Their coffee was just okay and actually kinda watered down. There wasn't much flavor and we were pretty disappointed with our order in general. Their pastries also seemed on the stale side. Their space is cute and it was well maintained - I wish I could say the same for everything else. read more

Really loved this place. You don't find service like this hardly ever. My wife ordered a latte sweetened and it was a tad too sweet. As we were enjoying our drinks one of the employees overheard us - she asked if she could fix it and came back with new drink. Impressive to say the least. The empanada was surprisingly tasty. And I enjoyed my cortado. Very nice espresso machine, top notch grinder and serving up devocion coffee. Can't get any better than this. WE'LL BE BACK!!! read more

Really nice coffee shop in JH. The coffee and food are spectacular and the staff is always very attentive and pleasant.

Over the Moon is very pretty and modern, and the cappuccinos were really good and made with quality espresso. The guava croissant was surprisingly good - really fresh with a crisp exterior and soft interior layers. The only thing that could have made the pastry better was more guava filling :) will definitely be back read more

Racist cashier, came in for simple crossaints and was given passive aggressiveness for no reason. very rude and will never come back again.

This place is 5 stars all around! Service from Andres and Sarita was warm and welcoming. The natural light from their glass windows and the music was great. My husband and I came with just coffee in mind but the menu looked so good. We ended up getting a chicken empanada that was fresh, flavorful, and flaky! Along with their açaí bowl and the Waffle Bono. Definitely plan to come back! read more

The quality of this small Jackson Heights cafe is really cozy. The drip coffee is a bit watered down but overall was good. The employees are friendly and accommodate to your needs. Overall, a really relaxing cafe. read more

In a neighborhood that has no shortage of cafes and bakeries, Over the Moon stands out among them. First of all, the inside outside high top counter is the perfect place to sit and people watch (especially with a baby stroller). It feels very European. The staff is so friendly you could spend all day chatting with them and drinking some of the best coffee in the neighborhood. Seriously, they make one hell of a cappuccino. Lastly, their baked goods. Jackson Heights has amazing empanadas at every turn, but Over the Moon's stands out. They are light, flaky, almost as if an empanada and a croissant had a baby. They are baked on premises too and are always soft and fresh. My favorite is the Hawaiian. The filling, with the pineapple and ham, it the perfect mix of salty and sweet and with the incredible dough surrounding it it just might be the perfect pastry ever. I love this place so much and I hope it stays for years to come! read more

Wonderful addition to Jackson Heights. Cute decor very good coffee and friendly staff. Hope they do well.

I love this place. Fabulous coffee, an amazing and expanding array of homemade pastries, a really cute design with nice indoor/outdoor seating, and super friendly staff and owner.
