There a little confusion getting my Restaurant.com coupon to work but the employees were very trusting and accepted it. I ordered the: #9 large pink pitaya dragon bowl - included a few scoopfuls of granola, a blended smoothie, topped with fresh blueberries and strawberry and then almond butter. This is super filling and would equate to two sittings for me! medium Oreos and cream shake - not very dense and more watery as they use the French vanilla frozen yogurt as the base. I saw the employee grab a new pack of Oreos from the snack section up front, so I know those Oreos were freshly crunchy from the pack. Still a great treat! I definitely plan on visiting again after this positive experience!

I come to green apple delight to get juices pretty often because they have extra large juices for only $7.49! It is great value for a great tasting juice! They have an extensive menu of different combination of juices , I usually get the detox juice which ha spinach, grapefruit, pineapple, cucumber, and apple. You can also make your own juice, so sometimes I'll just get a carrot juice which is flavorful! They hav other items like froyo, and açaí bowls that I would like to try as well! The store itself is very small and Connor fit many people. There is no seating indoors. Safety: the people wear masks and it's not too busy, so you can distance Tip: Green apple often has deals available on Groupon, so see if you can snag a deal through Groupon before coming

Love this place. The Açaí & all the fruit are so fresh! It's cheaper & bigger than the chains that have been popping up. They have a punch card for rewards & the employees are always so nice!

Always my go to smoothie place. Jalil was amazing. His service was on point and super helpful. There is some seating if you want to stay but a nice place to have for a healthy smoothie and froyo!!!!

I ordered ice cream from this place and paid extra money for toppings that I never received. The ice cream was also basically soup by the time it arrived. I called to express my frustration, and the young woman who answered the phone had a major attitude problem. I told her they got the order wrong and that the ice cream was melted, and there was absolutely no attempt to rectify the issues. She said literally asked me "what do you want me to do about it?" Only after I asked for the refund did she agree...but the refund never came, and it is 8 days later. To the management at this place - your employee needs an attitude check. I don't know who was working the evening (7-8 pm) shift on Saturday, March 10, but she has terrible customer service skills. Overall, two thumbs down on food quality and customer service. Stay away from this place!

The first time I came was on a Monday after dinner, and there was a short line. It moved pretty fast because they had multiple people scooping gelato. A perfect sweet treat :) Medium size is good for 2 or even 3 people if you don't want too much. They stack your cup sooo high! I came back in less than 1 week. It was a Sunday after dinner and a very humid hot day and the line was sooo long out the door omg. I got a small with hazelnut crunch that might be my new favorite flavor! I also got the stracciatella, but that one was too creamy for me. Also they LOADED my cup, it was definitely too much to finish alone. I liked their personalzed story. This wasn't a chain or franchise nor was it osned by a corporate conglomerate but a " Mom & Pop" shop. When I walked by, it was early in the morning and they weren't open but I planned to return. Yesterday, although it was an unusually cold and rainy afternoon in April and I was thinking, I would have preferred buying a hot cup of coffee, I hallened upon Lilo's and decided tonwalk inside. I was immediately impressed by their incredible selection of ice creams that are written in colorful chalk on the walls of their store! To my amazement, they buy homemade ice creams from all over the country and have, if possible the mighedt selection imaginable. They slso sell soft serve yogurt as well as ice cream and have a very impressive selection of " add ons" ( sprinkles, etc) . I was slso surprised by their selection of different cone options including gluten free and pretzel ! Since I was in the mood for coffee, Sonam, offered me two options, and J chose coffee with cookies. It was DELICIOUS! Having read some of the other reviews, especially some of the negative ones regarding their prices, I did not think that the cost was out of line since you canesdy spend over 10 dollars in domebof these high end ice cream shops. Of course, you could go to Mc Donald's and buy a cone for a dollar but you might not be eating anything that has milk or cream. ! I loved Lilo Creamery and while it's many blocks from where I live, I'll definitely be returning soon!

The spots closest to us were closed, so we decided to make it a whole thing--me, my mom, my son, and of course the dog. Full family ice cream scavenger hunt. We ended up at Van Leeuwen, and the moment we saw the shop, we were so excited. I remember when there wasn't a storefront--when it was just the truck roaming around Brooklyn. My mom and I used to go all the way from Jersey to Brooklyn just for that ice cream. The very first time we tried it, we had just finished dinner at Sweet Chick's, saw the truck, and said, "Let's get a sweet treat." I remember getting a ginger ice cream back then, and it was so good it stuck with me. So seeing the shop now just felt full circle. We sat inside and ate our ice cream, which made it even better. I loved the bright decor--it's clean, cheerful, and just makes you want to sit and enjoy your scoop instead of rushing out. It felt welcoming and fun, especially with the whole family there. I got the vegan mango sticky rice, which was absolute perfection. So delicious. I also did the strawberry matcha, and that combination was everything. The flavors at Van Leeuwen are just so good--you really can't go wrong. I also love that you can sample, because sometimes you need to taste first before committing, and both of my choices were a win. My mom did an espresso flavor paired with peanut butter, which she loved. And of course, my son kept it classic with vanilla and sprinkles--because kids are going to kid. Their vanilla bean is really good too--simple but done right. I love that you can buy pints inside or even create your own pint if you don't want just one flavor. And then there's Winter Wednesdays--buy two pints, get one free. Like... what are we even talking about? Go get the ice cream. Plus kids eat free on Wednesdays. We're New Yorkers--we eat ice cream in the winter. This just makes sense. Niya helped us, and she was so sweet and helpful. Great energy. I got my ice cream in a waffle bowl, my mom did too, and my son got a regular cup. The waffle bowl was crispy, fresh, buttery--everything you want. I also love seeing the growth--from a truck to storefronts to being in supermarkets now. It's nostalgic for me, and the best part is the quality has stayed consistent. The ice cream is always on point. Go in, sit down, enjoy the vibe, treat yourself, bring your kids, your family--get a scoop, get a waffle bowl, take advantage of Winter Wednesdays. You really can't go wrong.

The employee assisting me was kind and immediately asked a coworker to get a Band-Aid. Unfortunately, the second employee's response was disappointing. Rather than asking if I was okay or apologizing, she told me to "go home and take it out," walked away, and slammed the ice cream covers down. The original employee ended up apologizing for her coworker's behavior. Accidents can happen, but empathy and professionalism matter. I hope the damaged counter is repaired and staff receive additional customer service training so future customers are treated with more care and respect.

After the hype faded out in the 2010s, I thought I'd never see another Pinkberry again. Imagine my surprise when I saw this place across the street from where I was dining with a couple of friends. It was inevitable that I'd make a beeline for it right after my dinner. As usual, I got the original tart with my favorite mix-ins: a scoop of melted chocolate crunch, cheesecake bites, mochi, strawberry, kiwi, and blueberries. The froyo wasn't as creamy as what I was used to, but it was still really good and satisfying to my craving. Similar to most Pinkberries, the shop itself was a bit small in space, so it's more fitting for a quick visit. Too bad I don't live in NYC, otherwise I'd definitely hit up this spot (and the other Pinkberry shops) a lot more often!

I ordered the dairy-free coconut, which is the only vegan flavor they offer. It tasted pretty good and had a nice creamy texture. I do find it to be expensive and I don't like how they serve it for you. You have the option to get with or without toppings for a standard price, but you're only limited to 4 toppings, and any additional topping is an upcharge. They put the toppings for you with a tiny scoop, so the price difference didn't seem worthwhile in my opinion. There was a line and multiple DoorDash orders going out, so the service was a bit slow, but not a crazy wait time. The shop was pretty small, but has the same frozen yogurt look as other places, with limited seating. Given that there is another frozen yogurt shop legit 2 stores away, I just wanted to provide a comparison. 16 Handles has more vegan options, but tastes more like soft serve ice cream compared to yogurt. It's cheaper, you can control the toppings to ice cream ratio, but it seems like there are usually kids/students around. Pinkberry only has 1 vegan option, tastes more like yogurt, but they're sparse with the toppings and it's more expensive. However, there wasn't any many kids, I assume due to the counter service rather than serving yourself the yogurt. They both provided similar experiences in terms of customer service. Both frozen yogurt shops, though entirely different experiences. I would return here if I wanted more of a yogurt flavor, but wouldn't bother with the toppings. This place, like 16 Handles, is not Ike neighboring upscale ice cream shops in UES. It's cozy, a 2010 yogurt shop vibe, and is solid for casual ice cream. I would return!
