Better than the one on 30th ave, this location has many more options and much more seating. You can order more than just salads so I ordered a burger with a smoothie. The one thing that stands out is that they appear to have more dedicated staff with specific functions and tasks. All in all a much better spot in Astoria

The juice bar at create is amazing, I'm there almost every morning. I love the salmon bowls but everytime I go, the pieces get smaller and smaller which I wouldn't be as upset about if they charged by weight. $18 is already pretty steep for a buffet and because pieces aren't standard and they scoop it, it's a wildcard for how much food you're going to get. Charge by weight or standardize the portions.

Last time I left a less than desirable review because of the poor service from the female employees at the smoothie and juice counter. Since coming here last few times it seems the staff have been upscaled which is great to see. My go-to's are: Salads: harvest salad, tex mex (i ask for crispy chicken heated up for topping) Sandwich/ Wrap: LIC wrap Other: banana berry acai bowl

tex mex salad: great

Great lunch spot. Came here on a weekday and the place was busy but not too packed. I got the Tex Mex Salad which was great. Nice bit of crunch from the tortilla strips and the flavor was great. Definitely worth the visit!

The place looks like it would be great. When you go to the counter they staff was helpful but somewhat annoyed we asked how it worked it being our first time. The food looks very appealing, however it tasted extremely flavorless. Got a salad with half ranch half raspberry vinaigrette. Tasted like nothing. Added salt to enhance, still bland. Gave 2 stars ambience

Create is always go to spot when I'm trying to clean up my diet. They open early so you can grab a variety of things for breakfast. They have a juice bar with açaí bowels, fresh breakfast sandwiches and wraps, or even platters. It's always delicious and always really fresh and made with great ingredients. I went with the açaí bowl this go around and it never disappoints. It's packed with fruits and whatever toppings you are looking for. For the price I think you can't beat it. I wish I was around here more often, I love their salad bar, it's the best in the area. They also have great protein shakes and coffee!!

Great spot to grab a healthy meal. Doesn't matter if it's breakfast lunch dinner or dessert. Generous portions and great service.

Tip: Try to order in person or place an order over the phone because they're prices are $3-4 cheaper in stores. I had no idea until I walked in and saw salads and bowls were only $10 (more for certain meats). I think this is the perfect healthy establishment that the neighborhood needed. I love their summer caprese salad. You can sub items and pick from dressings. I'm obsessed with their lentil bowl which is essentially rice, lentil soup, and a scoop of onions. Ask for a lemon wedge! They also have a delicious PBS sandwich (peanut butter, strawberry, and agave). You can get acai bowls and smoothies. Their market plates are great but the chicken and salmon are always overcooked. But their mac and cheese is delicious! The best part is you can see your food being made and know exactly where everything is coming from. If you have any allergies let them know because sometimes they use the same bowl to toss salads. You order first with one of the guys and then go to the cash register to pay once he's done making your food. They have plenty of seating if you want to eat indoors!

Really happy to live so close to this location now! Great place to go if you're in the mood for something healthy. The breakfast bowls and their salads are definitely my favorite. Central Park Salad and it's immense amount of goat cheese is always a win in my book! They are doing delivery as well during quarantine so that's a plus.

I didn't read the reviews before I came in but I'm kind of wishing I did. I read them after I ate and my stomach turned with some of the violations they had. Mostly I was disappointed to see so much meat on the grill when the word VEGAN was on the window. I thought it was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant when I passed and saw the signs, so it makes me antsy to see that there may be cross contamination with meat in my vegan dishes. I ordered the vegan bowl and I was bummed to see it was $9.99 until I opened the bowl and saw the massive portion. Copious amounts of quinoa, hefty portion of spinach, and a great helping of hummus, avocado and garbanzo beans. I could only eat 1/4 of it before having to leave for the airport and left it for my dad to eat. Ingredients all seemed fresh and they were good. I didn't get sick after like other reviewers so perhaps they stepped up their game a bit. Loved the bright open dining space and the multiple stations (juice/smoothie bar, salad, grill, etc.). Glad to see there is a healthy alternative option in the neighborhood and hope that they continue to improve and succeed.

Manhattan has Sweetgreen, Astoria has Create. I'm a fan. For all your #basic bowl needs, this is your place. In fact, I think I like it even more than Sweetgreen. They have a different selection with fixin's like PLANTAINS! Also, my custom bowl was only $11. In the city it usually costs me ~$16, but that's because I have no self control. The staff is extremely friendly and it wasn't crazy busy (granted, I was here on a Sunday but still). I'm beyond excited that Create is blocks from me. It's perfect for those I-want-to-be-healthy-but-I'm-too-lazy-to-cook days.

I always aim to try new food items here and have never been disappointed with any. Quick, clean eats. Can't go wrong.

Was excited to try but they decided to close 30 minutes early today. Not sure if the hours online need to be adjusted or not.

4/5 food 2/5 service…read more This is a quiet, cash-only spot. I came here to do some work, and get a small snack. I came in around 1:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. It was dead empty with the exception of one person waiting for their to-go order, and entire time I was sitting there eating and drinking, only three other customers came in. I walked up to the counter to see what the food options were (the onigiri is on display in a case, kinda like a deli shop), and the drink menu is up hanging up high in small print behind the counter. The cashier asked me immediately what I wanted and I told him I was still looking at the menu; he told me to call him over once I was ready so he didn't have to stand. Once I ordered, he asked me if I have cash and asked if they were cash only to which he said yes. Side note: if a shop is cash only, signs should be posted in multiple areas (on the door, at the counter, etc.), and this place did not have any signs. I got the salmon onigiri and a hot lemon ginger honey tea and it came to $8. The tea is from those pre-made jars that you can purchase at any Asian market. The onigiri was very tasty and the rice was very soft. One of the better ones I've had in NYC. After I ordered, I saw a "no laptops" sign tucked away in the corner. So there went my plans of working in a quiet shop, though I did hop on a zoom meeting for an hour on my phone. I made it work. This is a cute spot for grab-and-go, though the service could use improvement. And considering there are no customers, I don't know why there's no laptop rule.

The owner was super friendly, welcoming and just the type of person that makes you want to visit again. Food: wanted to try their sushi but they ran out. The owner said he only makes a certain amount for the day and once they run out, he doesn't make more. I had the calamari sandwich and the pork sandwich. Both very tasty but a bit overpriced for my opinion. $10 for a pork sandwich seems a bit much. They really need to update the online menu because it says $5 on it so was quite shocked when I got there and saw the price. All in all, it is a nice place to visit with great staff and yummy food but with that price, won't be going as often as I would like.

So when he mentioned how his burger was the most popular item, I definitely had to give it a shot - $8.75 for a no frills 8oz Angus burger with American cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce (I believe I saw pickle was available, but didn't get it). What I got was the 8oz of meat, but it was on a gorgeous brioche bun, with 2 slices of beefsteak tomato and really fresh lettuce. The red onions were meticulouslu cooked down in garlic butter on his griddle, and the burger patty (100% fresh, by the way) was cooked on grill using wood chip-fueled fire. Like I said, the guy really cares about his food. The meat was cooked to order, and all of the ingredients (bun, produce) were from LOCAL SHOPS freshly delivered every morning, so no unfresh ingredients. He dared me to eat this burger and come back to tell him it's not the best in the area, and I think he has an argument. So if you want to get a really good burger, all while supporting a 1-man show who supports Astoria's local businesses, stop by! This place is a great addition to the neighborhood, and I can't wait to try the rest of his sandwiches.

I got the "Aged…read moreto perfection" which was prosciutto, and the "US open fan favorite" which was roasted chicken breast. Both came with generous amounts of meat, not too saucy either which sometimes makes sandwiches soggy. I got the regular sub size which I ate half of. It can easier feed 2 people! I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get a sandwich from Stacked since I haven't had one in a while. I I walked in and waited to be greeted while the staff chatted and gazed at me for about 5ish minutes or so. Finally, I'm acknowledged and asked "what can I get for you". I saw they had a Thanksgiving sandwich called the "Gobbler". I asked how long they would have it as even though it's the November special, sometimes places might make it last through the holidays. When asked I was told "it will be available until whenever November ends". This whole interaction made me feel so unwelcome. It didn't look like there was much going on there in the relm of orders, but it still took them a while to make my sandwich. Finally they bring it to the front counter. Pack it in paper and a paper bag and I'm off. I didn't have much time to eat so I scarfed it down in my car before heading down Queens Blvd. It was very good. Not my favorite, but def has potential. I also feel like, though this is a nice sized sandwich, they were a bit stingy this time around. I would say the star was the stuffing. It just tied everything together. As you all know, I love a good sandwich shop. I wish this was as good as it once was to me. Not sure if I'll give it one more shot just yet.
