These guys are the best they never disappoint. Owner and the cooks are the nicest people ever always take care of me. Also very quick with the service as soon as you order it's ready in 5 minutes no deli in nyc is like this place.

They never miss! They've always been super generous with the portions and at great prices. I almost always end up saving half the potatoes for the next morning. Everything is made fresh right in front of you and they keep the line moving fast. Def one of my favorite go to's for a filling brunch.

Real New York bagels, with fresh bread you have to eat it right away or it goes bad. They participate in the Too Good to Go program. This section of Astoria Queens is very walkable.

This little nook doesn't look like much but super cute, helpful friendly store with tasty food. The smoked salmon avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning was . Pleasantly surprised overall, if i'm back or around the area will definitely go back to this spot.

I don't know why I didn't try this place earlier! Came here for breakfast one weekend after getting my eyebrows done across the street and am hooked! The omelettes and sandwiches are all fresh and delicious. Staff is great and prices are very reasonable!

I ordered a BLT with mozzarella cheese on a toasted roll. I asked him kindly for very well done bacon , it's not toasted it has no cheese . I would give them another try but I would have to maybe repeat my self .

A great unassuming but lovely spot for breakfast. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, and very reasonably priced for generous portions. I brought my 8yo daughter here for a breakfast outing, and we were both very happy.

Great no frills deli. Breakfast sandwiches and dank coffee. Fast and friendly service. Inexpensive. Decent seating options for dining in.

All they have is Publix which can't compare at all. When I saw this Zaro's location in Terminal B it was a no brainer. Bagels were surprisingly fresh and tasty even after the flight and travel time. Friendly and fast counter service. I also grabbed a coffee which was also pretty good. Solid place.

A bit sad because they were a reliable Local NYC Bagel at LGA before taking off. To add to my sad, the electronic kiosk for self-ordering did not have an option to request an iced coffee or even an iced tea without forcing a choice to add milk, and the screen is so big you're typing your personal name or phone number for your order at a size and view everyone in line can see it, which felt like an invasion of privacy. I'm sure this was some investor's brilliant idea to streamline things but it now makes Zaro feel like another corporate entity that lacks uniqueness, attention to detail, and is starting to distance human connection and consideration from the product and experience.

Whether you're in the neighborhood or just East, you're likely going to pass it on the way to the train. With solid outdoor picnic-style tables, it's a fantastic alternative to Espresso 77. Inside there's some more great seating with a high counter, plenty of more large tables and some smaller ones. Queing up to order is fairly straightforward and the large hanging menu makes it easy to figure out what you might like. IMHO, sandwiches are the go-to. You get exactly what you expect and the price point is reasonable. What I would absolutely avoid is breakfast sandwiches. Prices on those is far less reasonable. Overall, you get exactly what you expect here and it's nice to have it as a neighborhood option.

Portion was huge but it didn't fall apart like I thought it would. The bagel itself wasn't mind blowing but the sheer amount of flavor provided by the filling more than made up for it.

There are certain gimmicks that I don't subscribe to, which is any kind of fusion in bagel form…read more (#1) Between The Bagel proved me wrong, in a way that I haven't fully yet recovered and as a result has become a go-to destination for me whenever I'm back in Astoria. They've done such an outstanding job across the board (customer service, price, food, etc.) that I am constantly thinking about going back. Located on the constantly busy (#2) 30th Ave, one wouldn't notice this place as being any different from any other bagel shop. There's hardly any seating but a steady stream of customers all throughout the day. The NSFW signage (#3) keeps the place fresh and interesting, if not extremely memorable. The first thing that is offered (and often complimentary) is their fried rice balls, dubbed "Ben's Balls" that are mixed with seasoned rice, kimchi, topped with a gochujang mayo that would wake up any sleepyhead. Each bite had a nice crunch, but the lingering effect of the kimchi makes it addicting. It is the ultimate complementary snack, a desired, potluck item, and frankly genius. This is not something I would ever consider getting out a bagel shop, but having had them I would gladly buy them by the dozens. Most folks are here for the Seoul Meets Bagel (SMB) and rightfully so: it's layered with chopped bulgogi meat, cheese, egg, kimchi, topped with gochujang mayo and is packed with flavor. While the dank ass pork sandwich is a crude name, but it's not hard to see why it's one of their best sellers. Their regular bagels are also excellent. Folks who are expecting a large variety of cream cheese may find it disappointing that there's only a handful in the display, but they do have lox, bacon scallion, tofu cream cheese, and some flavored cream cheese. For what it's worth, my toasted everything bagel with lox was fabulous. It was pillowy soft, nicely toasted, and extremely filling. Offering Korean savory bagels wouldn't be complete without actual Korean fare, which is also a part of their larger than expected menu. It includes items such as Korean fried chicken, kimbap, pajeon (various), bibimbap, kalbi, ramyum, and mandoo. This is in addition to the burgers, breakfast platters and sandwiches, and a number of pastries. The staff is mostly Spanish and English speaking, in addition to the owner Ben who brings Korean to the table. Prices are very reasonable for Astoria and I'm hoping they continue to stay that way. This spot is the ultimate neighborhood spot and I'm insanely jealous of all the residents in the area that get to enjoy this on the regular. ___________ (#1) Why mess with something that doesn't need changing? Oh, because palate + innovation. (#2) And incredibly gentrified. (#3) One sign reads: "My happy place is when I tell people to .... FU, KMA, MF, STFU, SOB, SMD." Oh how New York.

What I got was a poorly-run bagel place with one person at the counter spreading cream cheese onto a bagel at a snail's pace. The door/window was open to the kitchen and there was no one back there. Where is everyone!? Shouldn't this bagel place be staffed on a Saturday morning? Okay, let's look at the bagels... There were barely any available!
