Create has long been my go-to for food delivery whenever I'm not sure what I'm in the mood for since their menu is extensive and super customizable. You can build your own sandwich, salad, bowl or omelette, or choose one of their own creations if you're not in the mood to build something from scratch. This was my first time coming to the actual location, and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this place is. Service was friendly and prompt, and the owner/manager there was running a super tight ship. I built my own omelette with peppers, onions, spinach, turkey and American cheese which came with home fries for a little over $10 before tax, plus a large ice coffee ($5ish). The omelette came out steaming hot and was cooked perfectly as were the home fries. Very overwhelming inside at first but that's only because there are so many items to order from. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian choices. Staff is super helpful in choosing a dish even when it's busy. I think I most recently got the southwestern bowl without meat and it was good for the price, big portion. I'm a regular at Create's Ditmars location but thanks to COVID-19, it's closed. I can't go a Saturday without one of my lattes from there so I strolled over to the 30th Ave location for my caffeine fix. It's smaller than Ditmars, but everything's the same, including some BOMB coffee. Given the pandemic situation, the staff was SUPER friendly. I'm really trying to help small businesses survive during this time. They were professional and ultra clean. Also, my latte was better than my Ditmars latte. Win! read more

I happen to really like create. I think they have a great healthy menu, love their chicken lemon orzo, salads are extremely fresh. Reminds me of the salad bars found in the city. This is a one of a kind location in Queens you can't find many salad bars like this one throughout the borough. Staff is mehhh- guys in the kitchen are awesome. Salad bars are always my favorite. However, after exploring some of the vegetarian sandwich options on the menu I have to say it's a 3.5 star (rounded down because of the very sad veggie burger). The East Village is probably my go to when I come here because it's consistently done well. It's a cold sandwich with baby portobello mushrooms, veggies, cheese, a pesto sauce served on a multigrain hero. The bread is definitely the star and they do use quality ingredients. However, I'm glad they have a bottle of Cholula Hot Sauce at each table because it's a bland sandwich otherwise. Adding some sort of acidity would definitely help! The Veggie Burger is where they really drop the ball. Sometimes I want hot food that isn't pizza, the only veggie option here is the quinoa veggie burger. The second I picked it up I knew it was wrong. The patty crumpled apart half staying in the bun, the other half sat like mashed potatoes on my plate. The flavor of it wasn't bad, but again, it needs some sort of acidity. I almost feel like they're afraid to add pickled veggie (because yes pickled onions would be good on both). I've heard complaints about their delivery- but had no problems in person! Plenty of veggie options to create a healthy bowl. Ingredients seemed fresh enough for one of those salad bars where they sit out in containers. Unfortunately, the staff couldn't tell me which of the dressings were vegan (lots of hidden honey out there!) besides the basic olive oil. I've eaten from Create a handful of times and their food (so far) has yet to disappoint. The Steinway Breakfast sandwich is delicious! I think they go a little heavy on the cheese with it but it's still hardy and a somewhat healthier substitute to a regular bacon egg and cheese sandwich. It's best to get it on a roll so the sandwich doesn't fall apart while you eat it. The Nutella Banana pancakes are also amazing. They're very generous with both toppings and cook them in between the stacks so you get a nice gooey and sweet bite every time. You honestly don't even need syrup with these pancakes. When I'm battling a serious hangover, the Disco Fries are my savior. They're steak fries soaked in gravy and topped with melted mozzarella cheese. They literally give me life and when I'm hanging on. My only bone to pick with Create is the wait time to receive your food. Twice I've gone in to order a breakfast sandwich and both times it took about 20 minutes for my order to be complete. BUT the quinoa menu appeared before me and I ended up getting the Asian Sesame Quinoa (yes, it wasn't intentional if you wondering) with steak tips. The quinoa took awfully long. I don't know if it usually takes more than 15 minutes because I have never ordered quinoa from outside but there were as minimal customers around me ordering as could be and I kept looking over the guy as he continuously put different oils so many times. After what seemed to take forever, I opened up my quinoa and it looked like it was soaked in sesame oil. It was definitely overdone with oil but the rest was fine. I liked the mangoes and the beef wasn't too bad but it was kind of shady how they passed the plate around so much and they had to make the beef on the other side. I haven't come here for the food since but I love getting Arnold Palmers (half lemonade, half tea) after a workout--oh my god, they are amazing. Came in from a 24 work day around 1pm. First time visitor. Loved every bit of it. The Gramercy Park is a tasty yet sweet hot sandwich. Filled with turkey, portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, melted swiss, it's then toasted and wrapped. That's not all ya'll! They make fresh pressed juices, i'd recommend The Summer Breeze. This is a great, quick lunch spot. Their salads are big and filling. It's counter service, but they have plenty of seats. They have a huge menu with all sorts of stuff to choose from. There's no great quick salad places in the area, so I'm glad this is here. Food: I've been here a few times and keep getting the same exact thing... the Baja salad. The buffalo chicken has a nice kick to it and it's a pretty substantial portion size. My boyfriend got one of their quinoa bowls. It was dense! Really flavorful and a good portion. If you don't mind a side of nasty attitude served with your order, then you will love the place! The ladies at the counter are rude and get overwhelmed when they have more than 2 customers. Ordered a P&B smoothie with extra acai and a Green Valley Juice. The young lady with the braided ponytail in charge of the drinks got very confused by my order with Acai in the smoothie, but it could be understandable. Concerning the Green Valley Juice, it only tasted like celery. So I went back and asked if she could make another one. She got pissed off because she had to clean the juicer first. And then had the nerve to start yelling the ingredients one by one as she was putting them in the juicer while serving me nasty looks so I can hear what ingredients she was using. She ended up by throwing the juice on the counter and walked away. I've been ordering from Create for years. Recently, I have had bad experiences when ordering food over the phone. I call and order açaí bowls and every time it's a whole process of being passed around to someone that can finally place my order. Numerous times the açaí bowls arrive and the plastic containers are broken so ultimately my $12 açaí bowl is spilled all over the bag. This will be based off of the soups & wraps, and one bagel. I have yet to try anything else because I just get overwhelmed with the choices and go with soup. I mean, I love soup. So I'm not mad at my choices. Theyll have different soups available each day, Fridays they have cajun shrimp. If you can tolerate some spicy, go for it. It's pretty good, and if you're nice when asking for a sample maybe they throw in a shrimp for you to taste. I personally can't tolerate spicy (my type of spicy is Taco Bell mild sauce, that's as spicy as I'll go)-- but if you can tolerate it, Fridays are for you buddy. Their chicken noodle soup tastes really good too, it doesnt taste like Progresso chicken noodle. I actually expected a canned soup taste but was surprised with the homemade taste instead. The chicken pieces are tender & flavorful, not bland tasteless chunks of mystery meat. The veggie chili soup isn't really a soup, it's more of a chili consistency. Tastes great when you ask them to put some shredded cheddar cheese on top. The cream of mushroom is another one I wouldn't mind getting. It doesnt have that 'straight out of a can' type of texture--you know what I'm talkin' about, the gelatinous, salty, weird chunky taste. No, no, this soup is actual soup consistency & has tiny pieces of mushroom in it, too. The lemon orzo soup is another one of my favorites. So lemony, and packs a punch of flavor besides the lemon, and it doesn't get boring. Each soup you get comes with bread, if you'd like bread along with it. White or whole grain. Or sub it for crackers. Whatever tickles your fancy. I'm sure I've sampled other soups (you may ask for a sample taste of the soup to see if you'd like it) but none struck gold like the ones I've mentioned. The wraps & bagel were okay, nothing mind blowing. I mean, it's a bagel & a wrap. How does one mess that up? They were good, a tad pricey but is it worth it? Sure, you can customize your bagel or wrap however you want. Sub a cheese for a different type of cheese, or sub a meat for a different type of meat. You do you, boo.
