Great location right next to the Forest Hills-71stAVE subway station. Perfect for that last minute anniversary cake you might need, or a small celebratory cake also have single slices and a variety of savory options as well. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I'd like to come back earlier in the day to see their full selection but they still had more than I've seen in locations in Flushing at this time of night. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Great spot for breakfast/snack with a quiet space upstairs. I ordered a lavender matcha latte and honey cheese pancake. Service was quick bc even though 71st is pretty busy inside it's quiet.

This location is small and does not have a wide variety of pastries like the other locations I have been to. There's a nice seating area upstairs. The employees are pleasant nice cakes selection.

Such a cute addition to the neighborhood. Very clean organized place. Friendly service. Ordered a matcha late and also bought some pastries which were delicious. I'll definitely be back to try some more items.

3.5 Located on 71st Ave, with the EFMR subway stop steps away; buses too. Street meter parking is available - usually easier if willing to walk at least a couple of blocks (or more). This place is smaller than the Elmhurst one, with a few tables/chairs accessible by some steps. Ok place to sit with a beverage for a little bit. Their ube latte had mild flavor but good. Asked for tiramisu latte to be made less sweet- still was for me though. Both creamy drinks. Also has less baked items/pastries to choose from so haven't bought much. Blueberry cream cheese bread was just as labeled - bread with a pocket filled with a thin layer of the flavored spread.

I was walking by Forest Hills and immediately stopped when I saw a Tous Les Jours and it is a mini cafe setup. The interior is well lit and bright with all the pasties organized on the marble counters and shelves. What I liked most about this location is the spiral staircase that leads to the seating area. The stairs are very nice. Unfortunately this location does not have matcha bread, which is what I always get from Tous Les Jours. Hopefully they make matcha bread here!

There are a lot of options at this bakery, and we enjoyed a few fresh pastries from the self-serve case. We also had a mango smoothie. Service is friendly, but it does take a little time for you to get your drinks if they are busy. Decor is clean and basic. We liked the balcony seating.

I happened to walk by on opening day and walked inside to check out the pastry selections. Their pricing is a bit higher for some pastries ranging into the $3 or $4 mark but they are very good. Favorites include the chocolate pastry, taro creme buns, twist donut (kids love this one) and cream cheese bun. I had their vanilla late, the 12oz for $4.75, which was pretty good. I love that they have seating upstairs so we could have our pastries and coffee on the spot. Just be cautious going up the steps as one side is quite narrow. One thing to note is that the entry area is very tight so one side is to pay and the other side is to grab pastries. I can see if becoming a messy situation during busy hours. Have been here twice and we have had good experiences so far. Fresh pastries, good latte, good selection and fairly clean environment.

We got the ginger milk pudding. Do think it's a bit pricey ($10) since it's an easy dessert to make but I guess it's all the theatrics. They pour the dessert in front of you and put a sand glass on top. Once sand glass is done, so is the dessert and you can even rest a spoon on top. The dessert is very smooth, barely a solid, and its ginger taste is very strong- which I like. Strong ginger but pairs well with the milk and good amount of sugar. It is a bit spicy but I like it this way. They do have a lot of other desserts as well as savory items on the menu. Intrigued by their savory menu and will definitely come back to try them next time.

Let the countdown begin. I deducted a star after a server placed a porcelain spoon on the pudding right as I was taking my photo. OMGOSH, the Ginger Milk Pudding was absolutely delicious. One word: Scrumptious Snack: Octopus Ball (Takoyaki) Mmm, these bite-sized takoyaki were savory and super tasty. I paid my bill in cash to take advantage of a 2% discount. Bookmark this spot to try!

It took us a while to decide on what to buy partly because we were buying also for our friends. Naturally, we were asked relatedly by at least the different staff if we needed help or if we were ready to order. Each time, they seemed genuinely want to help, and made us feel welcome with their smiles and gentle demeanor. For myself, the pistachio muffin was totally satisfying and I confirm they did not slump on the nuts. The crunchy eclair was a BIG hit with our friends, and the rest is kind of a blur but I know we enjoyed everything we tried. We'd go back without hesitation. I hope they keep up the great work.

It comes in cubes so definitely easier to share. CRUNCHY: this is the very must!! It's chocolate mouse inside with layers of other chocolates. Plus with nuts on it. It's like a ferrero but bigger! Price rating: 7/10. It was not expensive a good cake. I always buy cake here for special occasions or even if I am craving cakes. Visit this, its worth it!

This is actually cheesecake rather than the lighter Japanese version, with a strong black sesame flavor. Hojicha creme brulee: this came as part of a promotion, and the taste is strong. They do brulee the top on the spot and my sugar top got a little too burnt. Oolong tea cheesecake: still good, would get this again still. Lighter flavor but the floral flavor does come out at the end of a bite. Coconut milk jelly: the lightest of the flavor but still sweet and flavorful enough to come through. There's a dusting of graham crackers and strawberry jelly to complement. We also got a hot matcha jasmine latte but it was actually cold. It seems like it normally comes iced and perhaps they have no way of warming up the jasmine part. There's a points program and tons of promotions that rotate. There have also been different desserts that rotate so I'll have to keep coming back to try more. They have a lunch special too where you can get a drink or dessert for less cost.

The inside is absolutely beautiful and while they have tables, they also have more traditional floor seating. We got a couple bites of food to eat, some of their tea, and some cocktails. Their food was very mediocre, at best. While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). Overall, I thought this spot was okay for the price and I'm not sure I would return.

We came with a fairly large group and ordered several teas and snacks to share amongst us. There were several options for the flavors of tea and each one had different benefits as well. I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! So if you want to skip the bar, I'd recommend checking out this tea spot for a nice hang out.

Would love any good suggestions! On a weekend early evening around 5pm and they seemed to have most items in stock. From other reviews seems like they're known for their ube cheese pandesal, ube cake, mango cake, pan de coco and pork asada bun. I picked up a torte Cebuana $3.25 and pan de coco $1.50. The former tasted similar to a pound cake in cupcake-like form, sprinkled on top with fine sugar. The latter was a sweet bun with shredded coconut that tasted sweetened with palm sugar. It had a lovely fragrant coconut flavor and was tasty though a tad too sweet for me. The store itself isn't big, a pretty casual set up with seating for maybe 12-15 at cafe tables. The back counter is where baked goodies are displayed, a fridge on the right contains chilled drinks and full-sized cakes which looked made to order. On the left side of the store are some Filipino grocery items on shelves. Staff was friendly and helped answer a couple questions I had about ingredients, (or asked other staff what they didn't know). If I was in the area I'd come back to try a few other items.
