TikTok led me to Caffe Aronne and for that I am so grateful! I happened to be visiting the UES and realized I was nearby to the shop. So of course I made my way over and immediately fell in love with the ambiance! The cafe is reasonably large by nyc standards. My group was able to snag some of the comfy chairs in the back. I ordered the iced honey oat latte and loved it. The honey was subtle but did add a lovely touch of sweetness. And of course I need a pastry with my coffee and decided to switch it up and go savory because balance, right? The spinach pastry was AMAZING! Exceeded my expectations and was the perfect snack size- but I almost went back for a second one! Friendly neighborhood cafe that is worth a visit! I have been meaning to write a review for Caffe Aronne but in the past the site would not let me for whatever reason. I love to support this coffee shop after all it has been through in the past few years. It is a very welcoming cute/ cozy spot. They have some tables and chairs in the back. I usually get a latte or a cappuccino. Yesterday, I wanted ti try their hot chocolate. It was not very hot and had like no taste to it. Also for $7.00 ( 6 something plus tip) this just was not worth it. I will stick to getting coffee here. I did have their avocado toast here. It was ok. Usually when I stop by I am welcomed by the staff. When I went a few days ago, the person working the cash register was looking at their text message and It took a few seconds for them to ask what I would like. But as I said I, usually have no issues with people who work here and most are very nice and welcoming. I know we all have our days. If you are in this area though, I would deff stop by and support a small business. read more

Stopped by while I was on a walk in the neighborhood. I ordered an almond milk latte, which hit the spot. It was very earthy and peaceful inside with the plants and decor. I recently visited Caffe Aronne with my brother who is a frequent customer. I am so glad he introduced me to this cozy, inviting gem on the Upper East Side. The ambience makes you want to sit with a book for hours, enjoying a coffee, sandwich or pastry or chatting with friends. Great music, very calm and relaxing. The service is extremely friendly and they make you feel welcome. I had the honey oat latte and enjoyed every sip. The date latte is a must. I had the nova and avocado toast and it hit the spot. Extremely upsetting that they have continued to experience heat crimes. I used to go to Starbucks when I was in the area. Not any longer. I would much rather support a local business. Great coffee shop! We loved the rose almond latte and the pistachio latte. Unique flavors that really hit the spot- I got a large and shared with both of my kids- still had some left over. A very pleasant inside atmosphere and decent drip coffee option for the neighborhood. The cafe has had some troubles (protests) since October 2023, as you will see a newspaper clipping on the wall. Came here after see posts from influencers Ordered almond rose latte and the Coffee was great! Cute decor! Small cafe with limited seating area. Recommend ordering to go. But waited 20 mins for a latte? When it's not even busy, and without any basic latte art? I understand I ordered to go, but all cafes i have been in the city, baristas would have still finished the latte with a basic latte art even on a go to order. I do not really mind since it's a to go order, but I am just pointing, in case people are coming in for the gram, they may get disappointed. I don't even wait this long at Ralph's coffee during busy days. And price is almost the same as Ralph's coffee. I did notice the baristas were pretty new, and they had difficult time locating ingredients and tools they needed. That's probably the reason it takes a long time for a cup of latte. read more

Starting off with the cappuccino it was just fine. If I got it again I wouldn't be sad about it but it's not one of my top ones but overall good! The ratio of milk was way too much as it completely lost it's espresso quality to it. The service and interior is really cute and welcoming. Limited seating--seems more spacious than it is because of the mirror on the back wall which is deceiving in terms of seating. Tables are pretty low except a couple, so not conducive to doing work on a laptop/notebook, but would be nice to read or something more laid back. Cute Israeli place playing Israeli music, not too loud but could be distracting if trying to zone in on work. Unsure about the WiFi/outlet situation. Almond croissant was mid--a bit dry and not very almond-y--wouldn't order again. Same with hot chocolate. read more

Been meaning to try this place for a while, and I'm so glad I finally got the chance to go in. The place was cute and had a decent amount of seating options. They also had strong WiFi which made working easy. I got a cold brew and was pleasantly surprised by the taste, it was some of the best cold brew I've had. My friend got an almond rose latte that she loved! My 2 complaints were that there was only one size for iced beverages and that they didn't have a regular iced coffee option only cold brew. Also the price was on the very high end of coffees. It was $6.50 and my friends latte was $9. I will be returning but only on a special occasion as I can't justify that pricing regularly. I walked in with a few family members at 6:42pm and the sign said they closed at 8pm. We were going to order coffee and food. There was a super rude guy at the register who said WE CLOSE IN 20 MINUTES and I thought that meant to order quickly and then leave which would have been totally fine. So I said okay and try to order and he said "that means I don't have the manpower to serve you" in the most rude way possible. As there were three other people behind the register and the cafe was not busy. I have no idea why he was so rude to my family we just stopped in to grab coffee and a quick bite. I said okay and we left and went across the street to a different coffee shop. We also had my grandma with me who really needed to stop and sit down for a few minutes and we were absolutely going to give them good business. Stopped by after a day in Central Park was disappointed that they closed at 8pm and not 9, as listed. The server was extremely accommodating and made us sandwiches and a latte to go. Food was very tasty. Best croissant I've had in awhile. The coffee shop could only seat about 6 people. There is busy wall paper that adds some life to the environment. This was genuinely the worst experience I've had at a cafe. I hate thinking this, but I think it was simply just racism from the workers. My friend and I walked in and not a single person would acknowledge us until another customer came in. Then when we ordered they tried charging us for an extra coffee and got mad when I pointed it out. To add to that, the coffee wasn't even good and had a very sour taste. I've been frequenting Lexington Avenue for years, and I cannot believe I haven't stopped by at Cafe Aronne! I don't think I would've explored this little Cafe's unique essence by judging it based on the outside---That would be a huge mistake. Once I walked in I thought, "Wow, I've been missing out." It's tropical wallpaper, minimalist decor, wine bottles, and marble barista station all contribute to its sophisticated charm. The baristas were approachable and friendly. I asked them if they could make an iced espresso with oat-milk (filled to the top) without realizing it would be better to just order a latte. However, they prepared my drink as if it were a latte and charged me for just an espresso shot! That was nice of them. Caffe Aronne has a lot of interesting speciality drinks that I would like to try in the future as well. I'll definitely be back as i was really happy with my experience. :) read more

I've been eating lox all my life but never ever as fabulous as this!! I had the Sesame Smoked Salmon on Sourdough with Crème Fraiche and Sesame seeds. Delicious!!Coffee is organic and they have a wide variety plus specialty Lattes. I savored every drop of my Americano then had a yummy warmed up apple croissant.
