I have been meaning to write a review for Caffe Aronne but in the past the site would not let me for whatever reason. I love to support this coffee shop after all it has been through in the past few years. It is a very welcoming cute/ cozy spot. They have some tables and chairs in the back. I usually get a latte or a cappuccino. Yesterday, I wanted ti try their hot chocolate. It was not very hot and had like no taste to it. Also for $7.00 ( 6 something plus tip) this just was not worth it. I will stick to getting coffee here. I did have their avocado toast here. It was ok. Usually when I stop by I am welcomed by the staff. When I went a few days ago, the person working the cash register was looking at their text message and It took a few seconds for them to ask what I would like. But as I said I, usually have no issues with people who work here and most are very nice and welcoming. I know we all have our days. If you are in this area though, I would deff stop by and support a small business.

I recently visited Caffe Aronne with my brother who is a frequent customer. I am so glad he introduced me to this cozy, inviting gem on the Upper East Side. The ambience makes you want to sit with a book for hours, enjoying a coffee, sandwich or pastry or chatting with friends. Great music, very calm and relaxing. The service is extremely friendly and they make you feel welcome. I had the honey oat latte and enjoyed every sip. The date latte is a must. I had the nova and avocado toast and it hit the spot. Extremely upsetting that they have continued to experience heat crimes. I used to go to Starbucks when I was in the area. Not any longer. I would much rather support a local business. Especially, a lovely business that is experienced heat crimes.

Great coffee shop! We loved the rose almond latte and the pistachio latte. Unique flavors that really hit the spot- I got a large and shared with both of my kids- still had some left over. It's a generous large. Ambiance is lovely, there are a few nice seats in the back to lounge. Service was friendly. We will be back

The drink was just a regular coffee that doesn't taste good nor special. Service was ok-ish. They were on their phone and didn't look professional. And the store is just a regular store with nothing interesting except some Israeli flags

Very kind, polite team very patient very nice atmosphere clean. I ordered arrow grey tea, but there are many options for teas and coffee please with a variety of choices. I also had a pastry that was not sweet. It was with cheese and spinach. Makes my morning happy thank you.

A very pleasant inside atmosphere and decent drip coffee option for the neighborhood. The cafe has had some troubles (protests) since October 2023, as you will see a newspaper clipping on the wall. However, when I went it was quiet, peaceful and a nice rest while I waited for my wife to finish a medical surgery. A little high on prices but normal for the area.

There is nothing better than a fresh cup of Americano and a toast on a rainy day. Happened to be in Upper East Side and decided to drop in. Lovely clean and cozy place. The Ricotta Honey Truffle toast was excellent . Americano was super fresh. A great pick me up. Great vibe. Hopefully will visit again

Came here after see posts from influencers Ordered almond rose latte and the Coffee was great! Cute decor! Small cafe with limited seating area. Recommend ordering to go. But waited 20 mins for a latte? When it's not even busy, and without any basic latte art? I understand I ordered to go, but all cafes i have been in the city, baristas would have still finished the latte with a basic latte art even on a go to order. I do not really mind since it's a to go order, but I am just pointing, in case people are coming in for the gram, they may get disappointed. I don't even wait this long at Ralph's coffee during busy days. And price is almost the same as Ralph's coffee. I did notice the baristas were pretty new, and they had difficult time locating ingredients and tools they needed. That's probably the reason it takes a long time for a cup of latte.

Absolutely amazing place with an equally amazing staff! I had a small mix-up with a drink, and despite how busy it was, they handled it so graciously and professionally, which really shows how much they care about their customers. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, making it such a pleasant place to spend time. The drink selection is outstanding, the matcha is some of the best I've had, and the pastries are absolutely perfect--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The ambiance alone makes you want to stay longer, and everything from the service to the quality keeps you coming back. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Starting off with the cappuccino it was just fine. If I got it again I wouldn't be sad about it but it's not one of my top ones but overall good! The ratio of milk was way too much as it completely lost it's espresso quality to it. The service and interior is really cute and welcoming. I will say for what you get I think it is really really expensive! If you are nearby you should 100% try this place out!

Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. They gave out a complimentary nut mix that was also delicious. Service was swift and gracious. If you're looking for a spot to impress a date, this is it.

The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. A bar seat eventually opened up but I was already on my second drink by then. Definitely make reservations if you're planning a visit!

The bar seating was plentiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to stand behind the bar or a high top tables enjoying happy hour after work. If you go at 4:30 or 5, it's a bit calmer as the after work crowd trickles in. And as the evening went on, it started to get more and more packed, and it became a really lively vibe. After my friend left for another function, I stuck around a little bit longer for a little solo dinner. I had a glass of Prosecco off the happy hour menu followed by a dirty martini, and I did request to look at their full dinner menu because there was a couple items that I wanted to try. I wanted to try the duck Ragu and halloumi cheese, both of which were absolutely fantastic. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled and flavorful, and the duck Ragu was very comforting. I highly recommend both dishes. I ended up chatting with a woman sitting next to me who happened to work with select apertivo, and next thing I know one of the bartenders handed me a lovely bright cocktail to try on the house. It was a refreshing bubbly Barlume spritz that I'll definitely have to get again next time. Overall, I had a really great time at Barlume. The service was excellent from the servers and the bartenders, and they were all very attentive, personable and friendly throughout the evening. It's a small area with the tables pretty close together. We were given a table in the far corner, which was perfect for comfort and looking out at the restaurant. Two of us each ordered a glass of house wine, which were "ok." We opted for the Boqueria Experience, which is $65 per person and includes a variety of chef-selected tapas, a paella and an order of the restaurant's special JAMÓN IBÉRICO DE BELLOTA, which is described on the charcuterie menu as aged 48 months, with deep marbling, rich and nutty flavor. We enjoyed most of the tapas, including the potatoes, the beef/lamb balls, the salad and bruschetta. The croquettes were "ok" with the heavy aeoli masking some of the flavor. The seafood paella was good and was different from ones I've had in the past, with the caramelized layer on the bottom. Yum. Honestly, none of us was a big fan of the Jamon Iberico de Bellota. I'm sure it's special and luxurious, but we found it not to have much flavor. Frankly, it was a big disappointment for us. The service was beyond excellent. We were very pleased with the timing of the presentation of the meal, the superb water service and the general enthusiasm and pleasantness of the Staff. We will come back and try different items on the ala carte menu. I thought there would be more seafood and meat tapas offerings in the "Experience". Instead, it was a lot of cheese, vegetables, dates and bread. Although $65 per person likely was a good value for what we got, I think the tapas items were heavy on the lower cost tapas and that it wasn't a true top-of-the-line "Experience". A seafood dish or even a chicken dish (chicken wings) instead of one of the two croquette offerings would have helped.

We shared the crispy artichokes (outstanding) and the cacio e Pepe arancini (where the fried parsley was especially unique and delicious) to start. I found the hodgepodge of old-timey decor to be a bit kitsch, but to each their own. I came with a group on a weeknight with no reservation. We were seated immediately on a high wood table. Although the bar wasn't busy (there were plenty of empty spaces, small groups scattered throughout the area), the service was quite slow. The server was inattentive and took a while to take our orders. We had to ask her for water three times, searching for her across the room in an attempt to catch her attention. She was a bit absent during the two-ish hours we were there. On the bright side, the drinks were fairly good. I ordered this strawberry vodka cocktail topped with whole mint. I'm wary of vodka for its harsh, unpleasant taste, but I found this drink to actually be very pleasant, tasing like a fruit smoothie you'd get from a local juicer. There was also a burgundy drink served on a wine glass that tasted like the holidays. I liked that one quite a bit. Overall, Oscar Wilde was an okay experience.
