Service was quick and friendly here for coffees. I tried the fior di pollen, I had never tried pollen before and wanted to try it after reading the description of salted honey. Did not know if I was expecting it to be more like honey and crunchy like honeycomb or what but definitely the earthy seedy texture was new for me. I'm glad I tried this but definitely not my favorite with the pollen topping, but that's just a personal preference. Coffee tasted pretty good and I felt the caffeine doing its job immediately. Great ambiance and interiors, with good service and acceptable drinks. The food is unfortunately and consistently just okay. I ordered the flatbread pizza twice, and it is most likely reheated/formerly frozen, with a small piece of plastic in it the second time. The bathrooms is in the basement down a narrow set of stairs, and you literally walk through the kitchen to access it. Again, this is a good place to get coffee and light food, that's it. read more

The place is super cute--feels like a little slice of Italy with cozy indoor seating too. There was a line, probably from all the Instagram hype, and the wait was about 15-25 minutes. A pleasant lil Italian coffee shop on the Upper West that adopts a more sit down and order style known for their signature dessert lattes. I ordered the Tiramisu Latte and the Glow Juice. The latte tasted just like tiramisu and was not too sweet, but it did overpower what coffee existed in the drink. The juice was a typical health juice that definitely punched you in the face with carrot and ginger. Service was good, and it was fun sitting down, relaxing, and taking in the quaint vibes. read more

This was a nice little coffee shop with friendly staff. I ordered the coco Nero, a coconut coffee beverage. It was really good and refreshing on a hot day. I also haven't had anything like it before. My only issue was I think the coffee was a little over priced. There was also a line, and waiting outside in the heat wasn't fun. However, I think there's a line because it's a new place in the neighborhood. It won't be a place I go to often because there's other coffee spots that are as good for a lower price. Wanted to try this cute little coffee shop in the uws. I'm pretty sure it's only been open for a few months, but every time I walk by it there's also so many people there! It's has a Parisian/european style to it, with a bunch of cuttle little outside seating tables. I will say it's pricey and service could be better. They get so many people that I think they forget to get people's orders or bring checks. We got the Dolce Vita (decaf, but i think they gave me caffeine as I'm writing this lol), the Pistacchio Paradiso, and a ham/cheese croissant. The Dolce Vita was pretty good as well as the Ham/cheese croissant, but the croissant was super small and not worth the price at all (11 for that is crazy). My friend enjoyed the pistachio latte, but also couldn't justify the price. I have been a steady customer of this Fellini cafe. It has strict "tech free" policy. Today, I was sitting at one of five or six outside tables and none of the others were occupied. I opened my iPad to look something up and a server immediately came out and told me I was not permitted to use it. While I understand why some establishments institute these sorts of policies since using phones, tablets, or laptops can tie up tables for long periods of time and may change the interior ambiance. It makes no sense to me to enforce this at an outside table when many other tables are open. Meanwhile, they will permit someone to sit inside for hours reading a book. BTW, it was not problematic for me to pay my check using technology, specifically my Apple Watch. To the owner, I will not darken any of your doorways again. And, by the way, when this policy is strictly enforced, your staff is very helpful in directing people to your nearby competitors. read more

The only server on Monday Memorial Day was impersonal and after 15 minutes I finally walked myself to her and asked if she could take my order . Been twice. The iced coffee was fine (I ordered black bc I would rather put in my preferred milk at home (and not pay extra or have it watered down). I also have ordered an oat milk matcha latte. It wasn't good. All oat milk. Zero flavor. But the worst thing about Fellini is that they don't allow you to pay cash. Card only. Which, I believe, is actually against the law. I don't want to have to put a $6 coffee on a cc. I want to have the option of paying cash. It's a shame bc I live only a block away but won't be going back. read more
