I love it here-- my heart was stolen before I walked in. The drawing on the easel board outside was so cute. When placing my order I had a few questions and they were answered respectfully and patiently. The wait was short and my coffee was amazing. I trusted the barista with their special drink, Spicy Ginger Mocha, and have no regrets. It was perfect. I was around the area and found this super cute cafe. I went early in the morning so there were seats scattered around. The staff was super sweet and I ordered a matcha latte. I stumbled upon this place on a random weekday morning and it was pretty full! I was unfortunately disappointed by the coffee, but maybe some of their other drinks could be better. I tried the spicy ginger coffee, since it was their holiday special. It tasted horrible and I honestly couldn't finish it. Would not recommend, but maybe some others might be better. Every seat was taken so word of advice, get there early if you want to do some work or if you want to chill with your coffee. I haven't tried the pastries but the croissant looked pretty burnt to me even when it was t heated up. Now to my drink, matcha latte with almond milk. It was probably the quality of matcha but I barely had a hint of matcha in my drink. Grainy and honestly a really big disappointment. They did have a self serve bar when it came to sugar and simple syrup. I swear I used so much of that simple syrup bottle in hopes to bring up some flavor and my drink was still just bland. There were several tables occupied and it seemed like a nice spot for a coffee date. I ate my room-temperature ham & Brie croissant on the go and was quite disappointed to have to get to the middle of the croissant to get any ham or cheese. Stopped by after lunch. It had a few cute orange tables set up outside. We sat outside and just chilled and watched the people go by since it was a very mild day. I ordered a cappuccino and husband ordered coffee with oat milk. My cappuccino was very good. It had a nice rounded flavor. My husband's coffee with oat milk was tasty as well. I tried his coffee and I could taste the nice flavor of the coffee, as it wasn't hidden by the oat milk. Unfortunately, they were out of all baked goods! A Japanese parade was taking place so possibly had more foot tragic than usual. But the display case for baked goods seemed pretty small anyways. Would've been nice to try one of their baked goods, like a chocolate chip cookie, with my coffee. It's a good thing I picked up a baked good on the way there. Solid coffee spot near the American Museum of Natural History with more seating than most coffee shops in the area (of course, that means the seating gets filled up fast!). The cold brew and Americano are decent, but nothing special. However, the cafe cardamo, which I ordered short, was very special! As a short, it's effectively a cortado with cardamom! Will definitely order again if I'm looking for something a little extra special. read more

The staff here is very friendly and the coffee is good! I ordered an iced almond milk latte and really enjoyed it. Some indoor seating and a nice spot to grab a coffee with a friend or do some work. If you're on the west side above 65th, you're going to have a pretty hard time finding just decent coffee. So I'm really thrilled to find About Coffee as it is right across from the Met and super easy to get to from M79! A quick 10 min ride is the saving grace from the desert of good/ independent coffee that is basically my central park experience. The shop is small, but they have maybe 2-3 outdoor tables. The interior ceilings are tall, and so are the stacks of beans. The staff is friendly and they do serve food but I only got their coffee. Definitely come here for better coffee than you'll find anywhere else in this general area! read more

I came here to do some work and it was an awesome choice! About Coffee has a great environment to get a lot of work done. They have a lot of seating, and I did spot 1 wall outlet for charging. They even have a couch with a coffee table. The ambience is great. Wall art is marvel themed which I loved! Spiderman watched over me as I completed my work haha! The coffee was great also! I got a hot latte and it did not disappoint and the price was reasonable. The staff was very nice and gave a nice friendly interaction to everyone who came in. The only drawback I had for this place was there was no restroom which proved tough after a whole bottle of water and a cup of coffee. Overall such a great time there! The clerk then stated to me as she handed me $6 "I don't have an coins to give you". So in the end, although it was $3.56, I had to pay $4.
