Drinks were good and they also have bahn mi sandwiches which are delicious. I ordered a strawberry lychee green tea with lemonade and a classic cold cut bahn mi. I will come back and try other items on the menu.

First time trying tea and milk. I ordered the iced ceremonial strawberry matcha tea latte with oat milk. The strawberry puree adds a kick to the matcha. Different than the one that I have tried! I did not have to wait long to get my drinks after ordering which is always a plus!

The oolong tea with brown sugar and boba is my favorite. Just a counter with some outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and fast.

Tea and Milk is a favorite ever since I went to an event and they were in attendance, giving out samples. I love being able to customize my order with less sweetness and ice. The flavors and add-ons are awesome. We're never disappointed with T&M.

I had this spot bookmarked for ages and finally got the chance to check it out. It's a simple storefront setup with sidewalk seating -- nothing fancy, but charming in that local, neighborhood café kind of way. I ordered a bubbletea, which was... fine. Nothing groundbreaking, but it did the job. I noticed they also offer sandwiches (which looked pretty tempting), but I didn't get a chance to try one -- next time, for sure. It definitely seems to draw a crowd. There were people coming and going, placing orders, and hanging around, which is always a good sign. Overall, a casual spot with local buzz. I'll be back to explore more of the menu.

Always end up on a walk going to Tea and Milk. Was walking with a friend on a chilly Saturday afternoon, got a hot Roasted Oolong tea. I usually get iced, but it was cold out, so I got a hot one, and it was great. Warm and comforting on a chilly day. Still wish they had indoor seating, I would love that and would probably go more often. But the tea is still worth just going for, taking a walk and enjoying. Always a great stop at Tea and Milk.

4/5 Lemongrass chicken banh mi- So glad this is halal. Had my eye on it since 2 months ago, during the event. Anyway, the chicken is good. It's sweet cuz of the carrot & radish. I didn't mind the radish since it was pickled sweet, like the Korean sweet pickled white radish. I didn't mind a sweet sandwich for once, since it was really good. 3/5 mango rose lemonade/tea- I mistook this for the "Astoria" drink. I thought this was either lemonade or tea, so I asked for the tea. If I'd known it was a lemonade tea, w/e that is, I wouldn't have gotten it. This is good if you like really sour stuff, like straight up lemon. It was too sour for me. It's as sour as the organic lemonade you get from BJs (forgot the brand). 3/5 strawberry matcha tea latte- the matcha was oxidized. Don't think it had much strawberry tho. 5/5 Service - employee so pleasant. Got the banh mi to go & I forgot abt it. So I came back 2-3 hrs later & the staff offered to remake it cuz it wasn't hot anymore. When I asked if I'd gotten lemonade instead of tea, she confirmed it was a lemonade tea & apologized that I misunderstood.

Still the best bubble tea in the neighborhood in my opinion, and the best taro tea in the city. For the matcha enthusiasts out there this isn't on the level of Kettl or Matchaful but it is better than almost every other matcha offering in the neighborhood and very solid for a bubble tea place - they will not just serve you a cup of vaguely green milk. I recently had the Cocoa Oolong, which was very nice on a cold day. Note there is no longer indoor seating or an outdoor shed at this location, but there is a bench outside. T&M runs promotions with some regularity and still has a loyalty program. The other locations hold events like Paint & Sip as well.

OK FLAVOR!?! (Heart-eyes emoji) I am begging you to try these two things: brown sugar matcha latte (50% sugar) AND the Vietnamese BBQ sandwich, because when I say my eyes widened at the first sip/bite, I mean it. I added boba to my drink. You're able to choose from a scale of sweetness/sugar, which is cool. Really cute place and friendly staff- I'll definitely be back. *This is a window restaurant only; there is no indoor seating. My drink and food were prepared in about 5-8 minutes.

Such a great place The staff is always nice The drinks are always good But don't sleep on the banh mi and the custard tarts - get them warm It's window service and a bench and a few stools outside but no tables and no indoor place to sit down Sign up for their emails and you can get some discounts They also have vegan options for banh mi sandwich and drinks. They have non dairy milk

I had the matcha green tea latte with almond milk, medium sweet. It was very good! I also appreciated how it wasn't an up charge to get almond milk. The woman at the counter was also friendly and polite. Would definitely come back to try something else!

Hello. Just wondering if y'all are open for delivery right now due to COVID19? Stay safe!

No they aren't! They plan to open back up this summer I believe. They are only shipping out bubble kits for you to make at home that you can find on their website. They are too busy being awesome and sending bubble tea deliveries to hospitals!

When does the lychee green tea drink come back?

    It's back as of a few weeks ago, M $4.50 L $5.25

The restaurant felt homey and I could tell there were many regulars and other return visitors, for good reason! Ordered: Masala Chai ($4.50)- this tasted authentic, was nicely spiced, and wasn't too sweet. I only wish the cup was bigger. Steamed momo ($12+)- I like how you have the option to mix and match. We ordered the mixed vegetable and the oyster mushroom and surprisingly I much preferred the oyster mushroom variety. The mixed vegetable momo tasted more earthy to me. Himalayan rice set ($20.5)- this was a very nice assortment- there was rice, lentil dal, your protein of choice- (I chose beef brisket), stir fried cabbage, broccoli rabe, pickled vegetables and crisp flatbread. The only downside in my opinion was that the brisket wasn't too tender and I didn't love the beef flavoring or preparation. The rest of the items were so delicious! I've been thinking about this meal ever since I left the restaurant. You don't want to skip this place.

It can be a little confusing to find since it's a stand inside the market, not a separate store front. They carry a pretty wide variety of Asian flavor-inspired breads, pastries, cakes and cookies, including buns and some more dessert-type items. I checked out Progreso for an event this past weekend and ended up buying a few items to go: - matcha marble sponge cake $4.49: was fluffy, light and moist, good flavor of matcha and a light schmear of whipped cream in the middle. Would get this again! - taro cream puff $6.50: this was taro paste (? not sure if that's fully accurate though it felt more consistency of soft whipped taro than a traditional pastry cream) with whipped cream on top sandwiched by what I believe was choux pastry with craquelin. I think maybe because the this was sitting chilled/refrigerated for a while the top craquelin layer wasn't quite crispy anymore, though it looked nice. Personally it was a bit too much regular whipped cream, would've preferred more of a taro pastry cream. - mango pudding with fresh mango $6.50 mango flavor in the pudding was light though it was a nice tease of flavor. The texture was on the firmer side for puddings. The mangos were a bit oxidized though tasted ok, maybe glaze them or do something to maintain the color? Since this is a pretty new spot hope they could make a few improvements and blow it out of the park! I appreciated the owners' enthusiasm for sharing about their shop.

Me and my girl was looking for a coffee shop that was laptop friendly and closed late since we came after work. I was a bit disappointed that they did not serve any alcoholic beverages as I saw a lot of good reviews on that portion. We came, we sat down on a Saturday night. There was only one person at the front and it seemed she was also managing the serving part so it did get pretty hectic at some point. We decided to order the Budae Jigae (Hot Pot), there is no way to alter the spicy level so for those who love spicy spicy, this is for you. Me and my friend was really disturbed by the fact that we were treated some type of way. Maybe it's because we weren't Korean or? Service was slow asf. It took a really long time for them to serve me my iced strawberry matcha drink. And even longer for the food. It was also hard to tag her down, and she seemed pretty annoyed that we had to ask her for multiple items. We were a party of 2 and she only gave us one set of items. I went again by myself the next day to see if it was better service and it was pretty packed. There was actually 3-4 people at the front but even then it was so hard to get someone to take my order, ask for napkins, for the check, etc. While there was no time limit on Saturday, there was a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes on Sunday. would I go again? The ambiance is clean lines, black walls, white tile etc. Patrons leave napkins/straw wrappers, things can be a bit sticky, and it doesn't seem like this is attended too all that quickly. And it's not like it's busy - every time I go in there it's empty of people. There are 2 self service kiosks to order at and thus you're not really greeted or acknowledged when you enter, which is mostly in line with the nyc norm. The tea itself I think is just okay. It is a bit pricey; everything will run you close to $8 before any substitutions or add-ins. They have some fun flavors like the raspberry hojicha. I do think that the standard bubble milk tea that they offer highlights that the tea itself isn't great quality - it's either oversteeped or just not great quality tea being used. Still, it's better than not having boba in the area.
