If you're an NYC kid, you'll know that Ten Ren has stood the test of time over the decades--and hopefully will continue to. I've been to Ten Ren in Taiwan, and I can say that even with the abundance of tea shops over there, they are one of the very best ones around. Their loose-leaf teas (non-bagged) continue to be some of the highest quality I've ever had. Of course, don't expect a ton of that with the sugary drinks, but at least you'll taste the tea. Some of my faves are their slushes - their strawberry milk ice is like a shaved ice in a cup, and usually my go-to. I also love their kumquat ginseng drink--you'll definitely taste the ginseng, which they also sell. Overall, I think the prices here are still very fair, given inflation and what the other places nearby are charging. Cash only.
