As a peanut butter aficionado, I chose the ice cream infused with Chica~Chida. It;s bold fusion of peanut butter and agave. I made the perfect choice for me! The ice cream it self is tasty and a the scoop was just the right size portion. The ice cream is infused with 5% alcohol. Just enough for a small buzz. The employee was very great , I was offered a chance to try some flavors before I seen the peanut butter one. Yep, done deal then I did ! This was my first tipsy scoop experience. I'm an avid ice cream and dessert lover, but this didn't quite hit the spot for me. The Good: - The space is cute and nicely air conditioned- offering both indoor and outdoor seating. - They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. - The employee was helpful and kind. - the flavor offering for the alcoholic ice cream was creative. The Not-So-Good - Very expensive for what it is. I paid $10 for ONE scoop of alcoholic ice cream in a cup (not even a cone). - Limited flavor options - The ice cream is just so-so Overall: Maybe I'm not the target customer for this establishment as I see the product as filling a non-existent void. I don't need alcohol in my ice cream so out of the gate I don't really see the point of paying for over priced ice cream that's not very good just because it contains alcohol. In my opinion, your money would be way better spent going into any of the other wonderful gelato or ice cream places in the area and having way better ice cream and a much larger variety of options, for cheaper. read more

I got a single scoop of Dark Chocolate Whiskey Chocolate Caramel at a street fair, so I can't speak to the ambiance at the store. However, the service was quick. $10.89 is a lot for a single scoop, but the ice cream had a rich chocolate flavor. The ice cream was also thick. read more

Delicious boozy ice cream in Queens! I had the baklava (only available in queens ) and the spiked hazelnut coffee! Both were delicious. We sampled some other flavors. The mango is popular and really tasty. I felt like I could taste the liquor more in the mango flavor. They have merch, pints, sundaes, and cocktails are coming soon! The employee was patient and polite. She let us try everything we wanted and made suggestions. They have additional seating outside but inside is cute and you can read all about how they started in their timeline. So one scoop of ice cream is 6.50 this drink cost $17 it had one scoop of ice cream and a quarter of beer and I asked if I get the rest of the beer and was told I don't think so. I probably won't be coming back absurd pricing for a drink to not even get the whole beer and staff doesn't even know. I could of bought the scoop and beer separately and paid like $9. read more

(21+years only) The owners were very welcoming and spoke to me about their process starting this location. The space has outside seating and limited interior seating. It's bright decor with floor to sealing windows, making the space look wide. I don't think there's a public restroom though. Brand new ice cream shop but not as boozy as you think. Firstly, company I work for ordered sample size for a small dinner event. We needed the pint size so we bought four flavors; vanilla bean, mango sorbet, raspberry sorbet, and Whiskey caramel. Every pint contains 5% of alcohol but eating in moderation won't be boozy. I am technically non alcoholic but ate samples. I did try the baklava sample, it slightly did taste like baklava. My favorite was the raspberry sorbet, non-dairy, smooth and semi sweet. To add, they have cones and other toppings available. Don't let the 5% alcohol content defer you. You won't get tipsy unless you're 5 pints in maybe. Always eat with caution but it's diluted with milk and other ingredients. I do recommend the owners have at least 3-5 nonalcoholic options. It'll attract more customers for delicious ice cream. read more

Such a lovely experience we had at Tipsy Scoop Astoria! I am a born and bred Astorian, and am so delighted to have them in our neighborhood! The staff are lovely here, super kind and accommodating! We were thankfully able to sit outside with our pup and he got to enjoy some sprinkles hahah :). Service was fast and efficient despite the huge line on opening day. Everyone seemed so excited to be there and it was great to see the community get together to support them! I also love how they created a new flavor to celebrate the Greek community (Boozy Baklava!). Their new and exciting flavor is just the right amount of sweetness and super delish! We created our own flight and had the Boozy Baklava, Mango Margarita, Tequila Mexican Hot Chocolate, and the Strawberry White Sangria. It was hard deciding which was my fave as they were all equally delicious! The Mexican Hot Chocolate is a dark chocolate for you chocolate lovers like me, super rich and tasty - I loved every single bite of it! The mango was absolutely yummy and the strawberry was so refreshing! We also had a vanilla bean bourbon Old Fashioned Sundae and it was scrumptious! All the flavors had the perfect amount of booze! The owners - Kenny & Kimberly, are SO kinda and friendly. Please, please, please, stop by and support this lovely establishment. Spring/Summer is here and it is the perfect place to stop by with your friends and family! They close late at 10pm daily which is great! I am so happy that tipsy scoop has made it to Queens! There are a lot of options for flavors, and even different types of boozy sundaes and floats. I believe also, they are waiting to get their liquor license so that they can serve more alcoholic beverages. I ordered the baklava and bourbon ice cream, and because I went during their "happy hour" I was able to partake in their two for one scoop promotion. They also serve "flights" of different ice cream, similar to an alcoholic flight. Additionally, they have swag and tubs of ice cream for purchase. My only issue was that there was only one person working behind the counter and it was pretty busy so there was a bit of a wait. However, I will say the wait was worth it! read more

When ordering, my family and I didn't feel rushed at all when ordering and sampling. Give that woman a raise . I'm currently sitting outside of tipsy scoop with my family and man the customer service was top notch!!!!! The sign on the door says they close at 10pm! However they are actually closing at 11:45pm tonight and to think we almost walked away. My husband decided to just pull on the door, happy to find they were still open. To whomever the owner of this establishment is promote Shay/ shae I'm not sure how her name is spelled it's now July 6th at @ 10:30pm & she was the one that was working. From the moment we walked in, the place was clean. Pleasant greetings, very knowledgeable of all flavors offered. I asked the popular flavors and she was able to tell me. She invited us to try samples. We didn't feel rushed, felt very much so catered to. I don't even live in New York, been wanting to try this place for a while. And happy I did tonight. I got the tequila Mexican hot chocolate, with brownie pieces and chocolate chip cookies, 1 of my daughter did as well. my other daughter had mango margarita, with watermelon sour patch, my husband got the watermelon sorbet with gummy bears toppings.
