The coffee tasted a little weird to me. The boba in the drink wasn't the best. But if you are looking so somewhere to just sit and talk, they do have a good amount of seating. There are steps upon entering which this business is not ADA compliant. Honey Jasmine Green Tea, $7.25 Disappointingly, there is no ice as I surely requested. Having ice in my drink is how I manage to stay cool on a hot day in June as I wanted a cold drink (no milk and no boba). I had finished my tiresome grueling long infinite workday and hoped for a cool down. This is the beginning of a infinite hot humid long revolving door New York City summer 2025. My drink was served cool, but not high Arctic extreme cold as I hoped and after a 1 hour 10 minute subway ride home my drink became room temperate. The grass jelly was also served room temperate, but not chilled. The honey overpowered the green tea. I tasted the honey in my Jasmine green tea which is rather sweet. The clear plastic cup is minuscule thin as I can poke my finger and the entire cup will break spilling all the contents. Tea Magic did not take heed to the magic. There is a large Japanese maneki-neko 招き猫 beckoning cat at the order counter blessing the business, greeting customers, serving as a good luck revered position and decoration. However, this beckoning cat did not raised its paw. There are two signs "DO NOT TOUCH THE LUCKY CAT." There is also a sign informing customers of "price adjustment notice due to inflationary pressures to sustain increased operational costs." Well... at least the proprietor(s) are honest and direct to customers. There is a loyalty card where after the tenth drink customers receive a $5.00 discount for the next purchase. These loyalty cards sit in a cute mini shopping cart. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit 1 train at 72nd Street in Upper West Side, Manhattan, NYC. read more

I would give this place a 3.5 for the price for the taste, quality, and size. I got a sesame milk tea with 30% sugar and grass jelly. I love that they offered sesame MT since it's not as common. However, I found the sizes too small for the price. I believe my drink was close to $6 and it was a lot of ice. My aunt got a small iced tea and was done by the end of the block. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. However, being from out of town, I would not come back just for this place. For the Passionfruit Black Tea, I usually get the smallest size and I love the cute little cylinder cups they use for them! The size is not too small..its just perfect! The Passionfruit tea is always refreshing and it taste like I'm drinking fresh tea. That also goes for the Taro - I don't feel like I'm drinking the powdered stuff..I feel like I'm getting something real here if you know what I mean. What grabbed me in was that there's a massive 30oz boba. I had to try it. Boils down to almost 10 bucks for it. The location is nice but the store itself has no seating which is sad. The decoration is nice but it seems to be a grab and go spot. I got the peach slushie with tapioca 50% less sugar. Still a little too sweet for me but otherwise it's massive. The drinks are ok and so is the pork bun but considering this is close to campus (Columbia) and it closes pretty late (11 pm) this is my go-to spot for studying when I'm feeling boba or get tired of routinely going to the Butler library. The place is a little small ofc because this is NY but it has a bar and a few small tables for 2-4 people, or you can just put the little tables together if you're a bigger group. Another sad mistake for being adventurous. We ordered the Thai tea, and it tasted like water. A Thai tea, a boldly flavored black tea combined with milk/half n half, sugar, and maybe condensed milk/honey, having absolutely no flavor? Yesterday morning around 11:30am I stopped by to get six drinks. There's only one worker who's doing bubble tea which is understandable because that's a morning hour. Sunday when I stopped by for first time I got pomegranate black tea 25% sugar which was really good and just perfect for me. My second visit the rest of drinks my friends said it were good but my drink it was just too sweet for me that I have to pour half of my water inside. Overall my second visit was sad it wasn't great due to two pomegranates black tea. It was just too sweet. This wasn't 25% sugar.
