Sold out of bubbles at 10pm when they close at 11pm unfortunately - but the staff were very polite about it!

Large 30oz Matcha Milk Tea w/added tapioca bubbles. $8.75. It's VERY good!!

Ordered delivery for the large 30oz matcha milk tea and one vegetable steam bun. Delivery arrived early. Very quick! The vegetable steam bun was a little stuck to the paper it was wrapped in. And it's mostly dough. Veggies in it were good. Just wish there were more. I wouldn't order it again. It was $5. It's not worth it for me. The large 30oz matcha milk tea I ordered with no sugar, less ice, added tapioca bubbles, and asked for a lactose free milk or milk alternative. This drink was $8.75. I really LOVE the size of it!! It's like my own little delicious bucket of matcha bubble tea! It was very good. Good quality. I will definitely order bubble teas from here again!! :) highly recommend

    Sesame Milk Tea

I would give this place a 3.5 for the price for the taste, quality, and size. I got a sesame milk tea with 30% sugar and grass jelly. I love that they offered sesame MT since it's not as common. However, I found the sizes too small for the price. I believe my drink was close to $6 and it was a lot of ice. My aunt got a small iced tea and was done by the end of the block. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. However, being from out of town, I would not come back just for this place. Tl;dr would probably not come here again for common flavors but would if I wanted sesame MT.

I've order here a couple of times from work and will say that this is my GO-TO spot for my bubble tea fix! So far, I'd usually order the Taro Milk Tea or the Passionfruit Black Tea. The order is always made correctly and just the way I asked. You can customize the level of ice and sugar when you order. For the Passionfruit Black Tea, I usually get the smallest size and I love the cute little cylinder cups they use for them! The size is not too small..its just perfect! The Passionfruit tea is always refreshing and it taste like I'm drinking fresh tea. That also goes for the Taro - I don't feel like I'm drinking the powdered stuff..I feel like I'm getting something real here if you know what I mean. The bubbles are some of the chewiest balls I've had! I'm not usually a big fan of those balls, but man those were awesome. Enjoy!

The camera did not eat first. Insane portion for the price, gotta love it!

What grabbed me in was that there's a massive 30oz boba. I had to try it. Boils down to almost 10 bucks for it. The location is nice but the store itself has no seating which is sad. The decoration is nice but it seems to be a grab and go spot. I got the peach slushie with tapioca 50% less sugar. Still a little too sweet for me but otherwise it's massive. I was so happy only I feel like the price is about what you get since it's one of the more expensive boba. Toppings are separate price as well which is weird to me but it's been the trend. Service is quick and the boba was made very well.

    Brown Sugar Matcha Milk Tea

I love New York City! Where else can you find Taiwan Brown Sugar Milk Tea (aka dirty tea) available & delivered to your doorstep at 10pm on a Sunday night? Tea Magic offers an extensive selection of tea drinks plus smoothies, shakes, lattes, crepes, desserts, dumplings, buns and hot soups. During the pandemic, I've ordered tons of deliveries, mostly from my favorite restaurants pre-pandemic. Tonight I decided to try something new. Back when I used to take the M72 bus, I always wanted to try out Tea Magic on west 72nd street. I went to seamless.com & checked out the online menu. I decided to try the Brown Sugar Matcha Milk Tea - 'cause I wanna stay up all night - it's 10pm and I'm hitting the caffeine as my sleep cycle is all messed up due to the virtual life I've been leading... I also decided to take a chance on the Tapioca Boba Crepe - which looks like something from outer space - it's late, I'm bored and why not ? What's the worst that can happen? Hmm don't want to think about that too much Review : Brown Sugar Matcha Milk Tea - Good. But just like an Instagram celebrity, in real life it looks nothing like the photo online ! Was disappointed, tea was tipped & shaken - tasted like plain matcha green milk tea. Tapioca Boba Crepe - Wow! Surprisingly delicious! If you like dulce de leche or caramel, plus tapioca, you'll really enjoy this crepe. Five stars all the way for taste. As for presentation, it did not look like the online menu photo. I think this is one of the ugliest best tasting desserts. My eyes looked at it and said no; my tongue tasted it and said yes yes yes. Definitely will order from again. Delivery was quick. Nicely packaged (arrived intact, even though it got shaken around a bit).

Super cute interior! Love going here when my friends and I visit the city. It's our favorite spot for boba tea. The boba tea here is delicious!

Lychee Fruit Slush and Pork Roast Pork Steam Bun
    Dre S.

Solid place. The drinks are ok and so is the pork bun but considering this is close to campus (Columbia) and it closes pretty late (11 pm) this is my go-to spot for studying when I'm feeling boba or get tired of routinely going to the Butler library. The place is a little small ofc because this is NY but it has a bar and a few small tables for 2-4 people, or you can just put the little tables together if you're a bigger group. It usually doesn't get too busy, especially during the weekdays. The workers are pretty nice too, one of the cashiers is pretty honest about what's good and what's not when I asked her what to get. I'll be regularly going here (:

It was 9009090 degrees last Saturday so of course I had to make a drink stop on my way home. What better way to refresh than a boba slushy. Tea magic offers a large variety of original teas, slushies, fruit teas, smoothies and more. They dont skimp out on the boba and other inclusions and they have pretty decent size options as well. I usually get their passion fruit slushy with tapioca, give it a try!

    Thai tea (with double boba)
    Liselle L.

Another sad mistake for being adventurous. We ordered the Thai tea, and it tasted like water. A Thai tea, a boldly flavored black tea combined with milk/half n half, sugar, and maybe condensed milk/honey, having absolutely no flavor? There are so many flavors to choose from, and Tea Magic chose to have their Thai tea taste like sad orange water. Disgusting. Utter trash. It was so awful, we poured it down the sink.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil.
