Ordering frozen yogurt at this Pinkberry was one of the most horrifying customer experiences I've had. When I walked in, I immediately went to the display showing all the toppings. I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return. read more

I am so disappointed by this Pinkberry location. When I first started eating pinkberry in 2022 in the UWS location, they would give a HUGE amount of frozen yogurt based on the cup size. They would fill it up to the brim and then more on top. Nowadays in 2025, Pinkberry has definitely been cutting cost as the frozen yogurt sizes have definitely gotten much smaller, maybe only filling it up halfway or 2/3. However, this pinkberry essentially gave me a small size or maybe less in a medium cup. I ordered the original and pomegranate flavor as the bottom was not filled at all. They told me that it was supposed to only be 6 or 8oz as the requirement for mediums. If that is the case I'm not sure if I will come back to Pinkberry, I know its for the good of the company but the frozen yogurt just look so sad. The flavors are still phenomenal though! read more

Froyo used to be the thing and Pinkberry was probably the one that started it all. Now most of the froyo places no longer exist but Pinkberry is still around, this says something about Pinkberry. I must say the tart taste is unique and it is our favorite. We still enjoy it, but seems like the toppings were not as good. The service was not bad but so-so. I've been stopping by this location whenever I'm in Koreatown, and it's always a great experience. I dropped in again after dinner tonight and was genuinely blown away--a very friendly African American gentleman who helped me on a previous visit actually recognized me! You ask for the order at the register; the smallest size, I found, is a "mini", which is smaller than the small size. To me it was the perfect amount because I was still full from dinner, otherwise the small would have done the trick. If you order toppings, you go to the toppings counter in the back to choose from a large variety. This shop has ample seatin for a very casual setting (especially considering theres many better options for a more formal sit down dessert option in Ktown), but it does the job and provides for a refreshing palate cleansing dessert. read more

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our last visit to Pink Perry - a place that used to be one of our favorites both in the summer and throughout the winter. Instead of the usual warm and friendly service, everything this time felt stressful and unpleasant. There were two girls who were supposed to serve us, but one was on the phone and the other seemed busy with something else. We had to wait, even though we were in a hurry, while in the past we were always served quickly and with a smile. They also randomly drop coupons in your account as well. Who doesn't like a good freebie and deals? The staff working was super kind and we were allowed to choose the base fro yo flavor and additional toppings as well to go with it. We always love going for fresh fruit and the mochi! The only thing I'd caution against is getting fruit that might not be in season as the fruit might be on the sour side. Definitely a sweet tangy and delicious dessert for a hot summer day! First off, the girl making the frozen yogurt was really impatient: I had just gotten to the display and was briefly looking at the toppings to decide what to get and she looked at me as if she was annoyed and was like "What toppings" in a super impatient tone. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about customer service... I've been coming to this Pinkberry for the last 5 months since returning to the office and have not encounter said bad employee. (Guess I'm lucky?) It's Pinkberry, (remember the "crackberry days"?) tried & true, probably one of the better froyo spots (rip red mango at the food court, yogurtland in Chelsea, mostly gone). I enjoy the original flavor, the tartness wakes me up in the afternoon... and there's usually no line... except some mobile orders. Yes, there's usually 1-2 people working there. Yes, when there are like 3-4 customers, it can back-log a bit but never horrendous (which some reviews points to...). Yes, sometimes... one of the toppings can taste a bit stale... probably not enough traction for that particular topping. Fruits are always fresh tho. I always get a medium (which comes with 6 toppings), and only asks for 2 toppings... every time, they are generous with my 2 toppings! And I always tip cash. Be nice to people. With inflation, and market... I can understand the price tag... it's like a dessert (a known brand donut costs about $5-6... and a Mr. softee now costs $5-6 from a truck!). To each its own. Pinkberry was my official last stop before boarding my train back to Philly and as a froyo enthusiast, I do find it saddening that it's becoming harder and harder to find froyo spots. What makes me even more upset is that I have to give this place a 4 over a 5. Pinkberry is my ultimate favorite froyo chain and I was so happy that they had this location in the heart of Manhattan's Koreatown, but the experience unfortunately did not live up to par. I will start off with the yogurt itself -- it was phenomenal. It actually even tasted better than the usual froyo run. I opted for a small original froyo with toppings and ended up upgrading to a medium, which was only a dollar more. What a deal! The original flavor is the perfect tart and I chose mochi, strawberries, gummy bears and popping boba as my toppings. Unfortunately, the cashier who took my order was not the pleasant part. She just seemed like... she didn't want to be there. She gave us an attitude and she was just not the nicest encounter. They also didn't take Apple Pay -- Hello, we're in 2022?! And on this visit to Pinkberry in Koreatown, I was pleased to find the same taste and quality that I've been accustomed to at their other locations. We ate while we walked. The A/C must've been broken because it was just as hot inside as it was outside the shop. Mind you, we were experiencing a heat wave. I was ready to leave asap, but my partner convinced me to stay and make an order. Second issue was the service. The staff just seemed disinterested in being there, much less to answer any questions.
