At $8 for a small, the price is a tad high, but at least it came with a choice of two flavors, and honestly, those prices have become pretty normal. It also comes with a mini pirouette cookie, which is a nice touch that reminds me of the similarly pricey Gentile. I tried a few, with the traditional ones, of course, being a lot creamier, but all of them overall had good texture. From the traditional side, I tried the Ricotta Cannoli with Pistachios, which was my 2nd favorite. It was slightly floral and semi-sweet, though I wish there were a bit more pistachios. From the plant-based side, I wasn't as big a fan of the Halva, Caramel, and Pecan, as the texture was a bit grainy. In comparison, the specialty spot Seed & Mill makes a much better version with a much stronger sesame flavor. My favorite of the bunch was easily the Blood Orange from the same plant-based side. It was pleasantly sour and refreshing, with enough sweetness. There haven't been that many gelato spots where I enjoyed the fruit flavors as much, but this was definitely an exception. I wouldn't mind going back and trying more of their fruit flavors, such as the Cantaloupe, or the Hazelnut and Chocolate Wafers.
