Cute place. Kind of hard to find. You got past the FAO store into the Rockefeller Center and down the stairs and then down one of the hallways almost to the end between Starbucks and Juice Press. Find. They are very thorough with getting the line moved. Have tons of drinks, ice cream and more to pick from. They even have a pick up live screen so you know exactly how long your order will take and when it's ready. I ordered a Sakura Matcha and with 50% less ice and coconut milk. It was so delightful and the perfect amount of sweetness. I slurped it up in less than 10 minutes. I really liked it. It was light and the perfect blend of flavors between Sakura and Matcha once you give it a good mix. It would be nice at this place had a little more room for seating but overall a good experience.

Difficult to find (inside mall, lower level near Rockefeller Center ice rink) and sort of behind the Starbucks. Worth the roundabout wandering to find this place! We got a sesame latte and a matcha soft serve in matcha along with an unagi onigiri. The sesame was very good. The matcha was amazing! The onigiri was hot, fresh, and tasty. You can order via one of the two kiosks to the right as you enter.

Best Matcha cafe around! The people are nice too! I've tried nearly every matcha on the menu and all are good. I especially love the strawberry matcha latte and the Ube matcha latte. The matcha soft serve is also incredible! I highly recommend this place! It can be a little tricky to find the first time because it's on the ground floor of Rockefeller (same level as the ice rink, down the hall on the southeast side).

Inside the concourse near Starbucks, you'll find this tucked away. There are two kiosks to the side where you can order from. Some minimal seating but mostly a grab and go operation. One thing I liked was that you were able to adjust the sweetness and ice level, similar to boba. There were also recommendations on how sweet to go based on the drink. I really wanted to try the banana pudding and while this was tasty I preferred my friends ube matcha. The ube and matcha was actually a really good combo.

The perfect prop for your spring photoshoot This collection is going to sellout when the weather gets a little warmer. Everything looks so cute! I recommend getting 25% or less sugar.

Opening at this location is dangerous for me. On the other hand this is legit matcha flavor soft serve ice cream and drink. You can't go wrong with anything you order. Employees are friendly or efficient. Items are great. No seating in the store though you can find a seat outside though with the holiday season, it's a bit difficult plus it's cold.

Awesome new matcha spot located in the shops under the Rockefeller Plaza! It can be a little tricky to find underneath but it is located in a hallway past the Starbucks. Inside is fairly small but you can order via the self service kiosks on the right or with the friendly staff. There is an extra $.50 service charge I noticed when using the machine so it may be better to order with the staff. We tried the Peach oolong tea with matcha foam, the matcha latte, unagi onigiri and the matcha/white rabbit mix soft serve. The peach oolong tea wasn't too sweet and the matcha foam went really well with it. The matcha latte was also very good and the amount of matcha to milk ratio was perfect. The soft serve was on point and they added some decorative Christmas toppings for free! The unagi onigiri was surprisingly good and there was a decent amount of eel in it compared to other onigiri spots in the city. The staff here were really kind to answer any questions and there is a couple small standing bar spots to enjoy the sweets. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

This place literally stopped me in my tracks while walking around under the top of the rock because of my matcha addiction! You order at a little kiosk, and they text you when your order is ready to pick it up at the counter. They have a variety of matcha drinks and ice-cream. I got the matcha soft serve, which was topped with matcha powder and came out pretty quickly despite it being pretty crowded. It tasted like a very high-quality matcha, and was so good that it was worth having even on a freezing February day. At $10 it was pretty expensive, but it was a great treat!

Loved this spot at Rockefeller Center! The matcha is rich and smooth, perfectly balanced with the light, floral sakura flavors. The Sakura Soft Serve is super creamy (and so pretty!), and the drinks are refreshing without being too sweet. Such a cute spring vibe--definitely a go-to for a quick, aesthetic treat!

If there's one thing I love, it's matcha. Matcha anything. So when I stumbled upon this place it made me so happy. I came here on several occasions and found that the matcha ice cream in a cup with a cone broken up hit the spot. My one recommendation is if you're not keen on a strong matcha flavor, do not opt to add the powder topping. I did this when I got the matcha and ube ice cream combo and couldn't taste the ube. The powder overpowered the taste and the matcha ice cream on its own had a rich, decadent, earthy taste--a perfect taste of a strong cup of matcha, not watered down at all. Service is quick and lunchtime is pretty busy. You can order ahead, but they churn through the line pretty quick. 4.5 stars rounded up.

Tried both the ube/matcha and Vietnamese coffee soft swerve flavors; both were really strong and tasted really good. Looks like there were also a bunch of cute drinks and other treats that would be fun to try. Small counter serve shop in the Rockefeller concourse (underground). A bit busy on a Thursday afternoon, but the staff were very fast.

I'm a big fan of their matcha soft serve--I've even waited an hour in the cold once just for their matcha parfait when they opened their first location in NYC. Located at the rink level of Rockefeller Center, this new location is more spacious than the ones in Chinatown and Tangram. *Lavendar Matcha Soft Serve $9 The marcha flavor is richer than most store-bought matcha ice creams, with a bittersweet finish that real matcha lovers will appreciate. I was also pleasantly surprised by the seasonal lavender soft serve. It had lovely floral notes and wasn't too sweet. *Banana Pudding Matcha Latte $9.25 NYC might be late to Asian dessert trends... but the wait was finally over. The banana pudding adds a creamy sweetness that somehow offsets the matcha's bitterness. Sugar level is adjustable too, so you can customize it to your liking--a major plus if you prefer your drink less sweet! *Matcha Jasmine Latte $7 If you prefer a strong tea flavor, don't skip this seasonal special. It may look like a regular matcha latte, but it shines with fragrant jasmine tea notes. I went with 25% sugar, and the sweetness level was just right. *Onigiri $7 for one, $12 for two Exclusively sold at this new location. They have onigiri like mentaiko mayo, sukiyaki beef, and eel!

Maiko Matcha Café is one of my favorite go-to spots for matcha desserts and drinks, so I was thrilled to hear they were opening their third New York City location--this one at Rockefeller Center. Naturally, I had to check it out. This new outpost is a bit hidden, tucked away on the rink level in the passage that connects Rockefeller Center to the subway system. The easiest way to find it is by entering near the rink level and taking the passageway on the left--you'll spot them near Starbucks. Though small, the space is lovely and welcoming. There are a couple of self-service kiosks to the right of the entrance, or you can place your order directly at the counter. I personally preferred the kiosks--it's nice to see pictures of the menu items and take your time customizing each drink. I tried 3 items that I've never had before at their other locations: Lavender Latte with Matha Crème ($7.50): available hot or cold and I got mine cold with 50% sweetness and 50% ice. This was so refreshing and gorgeous to look at. It's always nice when something tastes as good as it looks. The drink had a slight floral taste and the matcha crème added a soft velvety texture with every slurp. Would definitely get this again. Sukiyaki Beef Onigiri ($7): I believe this is made to order as it took a bit of time for them to deliver this item. The rice was nice a soft and the wagyu beef filling was delicious. I just wished it had more filling. My first few bites were mostly rice and seaweed but the bites with the beef was great. Hojicha Milk Chocolate Cookie ($3.50): the cookie was soft and chewy with a hint of sweetness both from the cookie and the pieces of milk chocolate. It also had a slight nutty flavor. I really enjoyed this and scarfed it down pretty quickly. This visit only deepened my love for Maiko Matcha. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack, treat, dessert, or drink near Rockefeller Center or the F/M/B/D subways, this café is a wonderful option.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil. I got the Cookies and Cream, Rose, Lavender, and Pistachios. I loved the Rose and Lavender flavors, especially the lavender which had a solid floral flavor without being perfume-y.
