Loved the hibiscus green tea! Very flavorful and not too sweet! Would definitely have this again for sure! Quick to make as well.

I stopped here to het some bubble tea on a hot day. I went to try their new pineapple flavors. I wanted to get the piña colada flavor in their pineapple cup. Note that the sign they have up does not mean that the cup is free. It costs about a dollar more to get your drink in the pineapple cup. Which their wording makes is misleading. The service was great. They were able to answer my questions about yhe new flavors. I was very disappointed in the piña colada flavor as it didnt taste anything like it. It tasted more like water. It needed more flavor as it had non. The bubbles themselves were good and very chewy.

The service at this location is super fast despite being in a populated busy area! I went on a weekday evening and there was no wait, I didn't even finish paying yet and my drink was ready! Gong Cha always hits the spot when I'm craving bubble tea. They have plenty of options of teas and toppings to choose from. This location has a small seating area perfect for a break and refreshing drink while in the city

Looks like a compostable or biodegradable straw with a paper wrapper which is great!

Standard Gong-cha in Manhattan. Drinks are consistent with other Gong-chas I've been to so that's good. It wasn't too busy on a Friday afternoon, but there were a few people consistently going in and out of the cafe. I honestly don't have much more to say about a large franchise. Nothing is remarkably exceptional OR bad here compared to other Gong-chas.

I'm very familiar with Gong Cha as a boba spot but it didn't live up to the hype for me. However, I opted for one of the new seasonal drinks (watermelon green tea) which means it's a bit harder to compare to your typical boba. The single employee at this spot was very friendly and efficient. I found the boba to have a wonderful texture, a bouncy chew. However, it lacked flavor altogether and I was simply chewing for fun. The tea was extremely sweet, but I opt for 25% usually, just wanted to try the default state with my first visit. In the future, with a more regular drink and reduced sugar, my experience may improve, but ultimately it was the boba as a topping that made my experience feel average. Additionally, the drink was on the pricier side compared to what I'm used to in Seattle and even then I think our drinks can be pricey. With that in mind, I wasn't too satisfied with paying $7-8 to chew boba as a pastime.

4 stars is spot on! Love the fact that they have some indoor tables and chairs. The indoor air quality is also acceptable. The bubble tea is of good quality. Service is friendly and efficient!

I'm happy they deliver to my work location! Delivery arrived quick. I ordered a large matcha tea latte with soy milk, light ice and no sugar. It was perfect!! I should have added tapioca lol. Very good. I also ordered a large milk coffee with 30% sugar (lowest option on grubhub. I prefer no sugar), light ice, tapioca, and soy milk. It was pretty good. I love the bubbles! I wouldn't get this one again personally. But it was good. I love that they package everything well and order is correct. Delivery quick. Prices aren't bad. I wish delivery was free. I'm happy they pay attention to special requests area! And I'm so happy they have milk alternatives! Overall very happy with this order. I'll order bubble tea from them again! :)

Made to order. My beverage was customized to my exact liking. There's a good variety and the price range is from 4.50 to 6.25. The sizes available are medium and large. I ordered the earl grey pearl mil milk tea, no ice and a little sugar and that's exactly what I got.

If you wanna get drunk, go instead to a GONG BAR If you live nowhere near Katy, this location is too GONG FAR Unless you don't mind a nice ride in your GONG CAR To come and get a Dirty Milk Tea here at GONG CHA If they get all hipster they might serve drinks in a Mason GONG JAR If the sharp end of the straw cuts your face, you'll get a GONG SCAR I like to take slutty picture here, along with my Porn GONG STAR But if you want the best milk teas, come to GONG CHA WHAT What to get: Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, Regular Milk Tea, Waffle w/Boba. What not to get: Inseminated by your bf's micro-prong-cha. Gong Cha is a perfect franchise in a lot of ways, with some decent fruit drinks, some great and classically delicious, eternally consistent milk teas, and hot milk teas too, perfect for the cold NYC winter. I recommend trying their Brown Sugar and regular cold pearl milk teas. This is a claustrophobic little location, but makes great drinks, some of the best in Midtown, and has good service too, so I'm a fan! Gong Cha is one of the best chains there is, especially if they have some of their standout items such as the Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea on their new Dirty menu, and I also recommend the surprisingly excellent Strawberry Milk Tea, or the regular Milk Tea. Certainly the milk teas are the highlight for me, and these three are exemplary. They filmed Gong With The Wind and Gong In Sixty Seconds here. But not Gong Baby Gong. That was at a different GC location.

"Strawberries almond jelly milk tea"

I ordered an strawberry almond jelly milk tea, they gave me a terrible service and also did this which looks completely terrible and didn't taste well. They didn't refund me or made another drink for me. I've been in other gong cha's but the one at W38 st disappointed me a lot with this rotten drink and the response to the complaint.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.

They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh. There was a little bit of oiliness from the frying, but it did not taste off or too greasy. I think this is from the meticulous frying process and good management of the oil. I got the Cookies and Cream, Rose, Lavender, and Pistachios. I loved the Rose and Lavender flavors, especially the lavender which had a solid floral flavor without being perfume-y.
