Peach oolong milk tea Coffee sponge cake

Boba tea at Penn Station! This place is a little challenging to find, but if you find the Wasabi restaurant then you can take the opposite side hallway leading into LIRR and it's the first shop on the left. Small shop with no seating. Tried the peach oolong bubble tea and a coffee sponge cake. Both were good. A nice treat if you are passing through Penn Station.

I got a half sugar Jasmine bubble tea. The staff was very nice and friendly, even offered to adjust sugar as needed. Better to come back when I'm in the mood to indulge but there was a nice jasmine fragrance! Really happy to have boba in the station.

The Rose Lychee Ade with lychee jelly is perfect for spring-- light and refreshing. I went with 50% sugar and it was spot on. The iced jasmine boba was light and floral. The best part were the soft and chewy bobas. The shop can be a little tricky to find but it's located between tracks 17 and 18 near the LIRR station.

Stopped by on my way to NJ Transit and I'll definitely be coming back! LOCATION: They're a little tucked away, but totally worth finding. If you're in 1 Penn Plaza, walk under the "EXIT CONCOURSE" sign and you'll find them on the left side between Tracks 17 and 18. DRINK: I ordered the Longan Coconut Water, and it was incredibly refreshing on a hot day. I loved that it came with generous pieces of fresh longan and coconut at the bottom, which made the drink feel extra fresh and satisfying.

Lenny and Katelyn provided excellent customer service. They helped me decide on a drink, made it with proper handling, and served it with a smile. They have a nice variety of drinks and ingredients. Beautiful vibe and ambience. Will definitely come again!

The milk is curdled in my drink.

I tasted it and it seemed off, the. I noticed what appears to be curdled milk floating in it.

Delicious drink for the ride home.

I spotted this and went in spur of the moment. I was caught off guard by the $$10+ price for a single drink but went ahead anyways. Even though I went with regular sugar level when asked, it wasn't sweet at all. The tea flavor was quite strong. More so than any other milk teas I've ever tried. That combined with the lack of sweetness made it a not great drink to be honest. The popping boba were good. The milk seemed fine. The place was clean and nice looking. The employee was nice. The drink just wasn't very good.

Pretty good!

Really nice workers. Pretty new and good location! I enjoyed my Oolong Milk tea with grass jelly.

Menu with very descent priced items!

I swear this shop has to be the best place I've been in Penn station to date! The staff is very knowledgeable of all the items and give great recommendations of drinks. I stopped in with a cup of coffee from another shop and they told me about their lineup of coffee and gave me a sample. The coffee I had in my hand from another shop I actually threw that one away and kept drinking the ones they gave me to sample. I had an $8 cup of coffee from another shop and THREW it away for their coffee that was $3.50!!!! I highly recommend giving this place a try you will enjoy it just as much as I did!!! BEST COFFEE ON THE CONCOURSE!!!!

Best Bubble Tea Ever! I went earlier with my mom and when I received my cup it had a drawings on it. Also the boba was very good, the tapioca pearls are very chewy.

We had a large group reservation for 13 people today (Friday) early afternoon around 1 PM. The…read morereservation process was easy and communication was quick and responsive. We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. Tea is always so good as well (I always get my Rose Lovers Milk Tea!) All in all, a great option for a group reservation in the city!

After eating some good comfort food, my friends and I wanted a little late-night sweet treat. We…read moresaw this place and thought it looked cute. We got the Ube Crepe Cake and Chocolate Lava Cake. The size of both were the perfect amount since we just wanted something small to end the night. The ube crepe cake was really light and creamy. The ube flavor was pretty subtle, and I mostly tasted the cream. It's a perfect light dessert, but I would've liked the ube flavor to be stronger. The chocolate lava cake was super rich and decadent but also really delicious. I feel like it kinda battled with the ube crepe cake since they're total opposites. The staff were friendly. The interior was really cute and had a relaxing type of atmosphere that made it great for a nice place to sit, chat, and have dessert.

Favorite korean shaved ice spot in NYC! Very aesthetically pleasing interior with a lot of seating…read moreboth on the first and second floor, but can get very busy during peak hours. They have a wide variety of uniquely yummy Korean desserts, during my trips here most notably the Korean shaved ice. Very finely fluffy shaven ice which comes in two different sizes depending what flavor you pick (cup vs regular), each with a different topping/sauce combo. The strawberry one includes fresh strawberries and a strawberry jam drizzle that is just the right amount of sweetness--not too sweet. Also tried the ube which had mochi bits at the bottom, w/a deep flavor of ube drizzle that was yummy. This spot is pricey, which comes with the location yes, but do I think it's worth it? Yes. Would I bring friends out of town here? Yes. I've tried many many shaved ice dessert spots, and Seoul Sweets does an incredible job with the flavor combos and getting that perfectly soft, finely shaven, fluffy shaved ice (my preference: generally icy, hard shaved ice is no no imo for me) What I've Ordered Here Before: - Strawberry Shaved Ice - Ube Shaved Ice - Korean Donut Pastry

I was curious what makes ssal cakes different from typical flour. Honestly I was wondering if it…read morewould be chewy like mochi (it's not!). When I went at 7pm on a Thursday, they ran out of some of the ssal cake flavors, but luckily they still had the mugwort flavor which was the one I was aiming for. The plain cream one looks very angelic and attractive with the pale whiteness but for $1.50 more, I'd rather get a flavored version. Also I recall others saying that the plain one is a bit tasteless. The ssal cake ended up being super airy and light, even softer than a chiffon cake imo. It doesn't have oiliness, roughness, or acidity. Likewise, the cream matches the gentleness of the cake. The structure is interesting too, because the top layer of cream is thick, then a thin layer of cake, then a thin layer of cream, and a thick layer of ssal cake. When I eat it, I often get hit with the thick layer of cream on top while wishing there's more cake. Don't get me wrong, I like all components of it. I've had mugwort before but not super familiar with it. For those who've never had it before, mugwort tastes herbally and earthy kind of like the Chinese herb prunella vulgaris (?). The flavor here is strong but not in your face aggressive. I like how they dust the whole top with more mugwort powder which adds to the flavor and provides another layer of texture that's not overly dry (slightly messy tho!) I like how the mugwort is a greyish shade of green which honestly looks so chic and unique compared to other bright and colorful desserts nowadays. You can argue that the color looks dull, but I like it. My only complaints for the ssal cake are: 1) wish it came in a smaller size which would be easier to stomach (literally) and financially, 2) wish the cakes were in perfect squares. They're more rectangular without straight edges and 90 degree corners.
