A month ago, I was working in Greenpoint and during my break, my colleague asked me to bring her to bubble Tea place, so ViVi Bubble Tea was in my radar. She got green tea with bubble, and she loved it! I was glad I brought her to the right place. read more

My friends and I stopped here for some dessert after eating at Di An Di. I ordered a medium bubble milk tea for $4.90. The price was great, but the drink was average. Maybe this was because it was near closing time, but the boba was way too soft. The milk tea wasn't extraordinary either. It's super sweet as well. read more

Best boba place ever. They are so creative with their flavors and always updating their menu with seasonal specials. I recommend the Dragon Fruit Cream! The popcorn chicken is amazing!!!! read more

Friendly staff, cute interior, and great food! I loved everything I got, but I particularly recommend the curry popcorn chicken. The packaging is also really cute so that's a bonus :) read more

I stopped in to try the new Crem brûlée' taro tea. After discussing with the staff the two types of options the tea can be made in. I decide on the tea version rather, than the milk version. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and honest. The location is definitely a place to chit chat, snap chat and instagramable light ready as I overheard a young group of college kids mention. I got my tea to go and it was made to perfection. I added on pudding instead, of bubbles, and they added a delicious creamy foam topping. The prices are reasonable the serving are plentiful. Try the creme brulee taro tea. read more

Limited boba joints here in Times square but this place hits right the spot for your boba cravings. We came 30 minutes before closing expecting it to close right when we got there but hey the workers here are nice for once. Taro moo milk is made w/ REAL TARO. The worker claimed no sugar is added since its tastes good without it. I always get my boba drinks w/ no ice since it always dilluted and they're really sincere with my requests here. Also the milk they use is LACTAID. I never expected real taro to taste so different yet so good. I always been used to drinking "powdered taro" flavored teas. Now I have higher expectations when it comes to taro haha. Service is so great. They won't close early like most shops and they will satisfy their customers till the last minute. Very welcoming w smiles. Prices on the higher end but w excellent service and great tasting boba like this place, a customer like me will be back. read more

This was HORRIBLE. This Oreo slush taste like foam in your mouth. The lady made a large amount that filled up most of the blender and threw away most of it of course. I still have this bitter-ish taste in my mouth. $7 of nastiness. Never again ! read more

The bubble tea here is always soso good. I don't know why but I always get the passion fruit and I love it. Never fails. The real test here for me was...is there such thing as bad takoyaki? I thought this was the perfect place to test that. Takoyaki has gotta be hot, flavorful, a tad crispy on the outside so when you bite it that gooey inside just melts everywhere in your mouth. They threw WAY too many bonito flakes on top and there was no crispiness to it at all. HOWEVER, the flavor was basically all there. I still ate them all and enjoyed them. Maybe that makes me super basic. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. But for a quick, cheap fix? It works. Also got the tofu fish buns and they were oddly good as well? read more

Ordered delivery from here. I have to say this restaurant gets very specific about how much ice/sugar you would like in your drink. Customizable, cool- except they disregarded and gave without any ice. Beverage was a little warm, but I put it in freezer for 30 minutes and it was good to go:) Thai iced tea with bubble was fantastic! Iced tea was smooth and creamy. They really hooked it up with tapioca pearls. Next time, don't forget the ice! read more

Love this place, although we always order the same thing it is always delicious. Recommend flaming brown sugar. Service is never slow and it is cool to see them make it. Quick in and out to get a tea to go, and the cashiers were very friendly and quick - no issues with this place. Honestly writing this review to remind myself that ViVi teas tend to run sweeter than other tea shops and to always get 0% sugar instead of 30%. read more

Simply amazing. I am a huge fan of dope unsweetened tea so I ordered lychee bubble tea with no milk or sugar and it punched so much flavor. I'm not a bubble tea expert but had a fair share of bubble teas and this one takes the gold medal. Their other menu items look very appetizing and thirst quenching as well. FYI, they have this really cool machine that shakes the tea before it's poured into a cup and it makes it that much better. Also, they don't add ice cubes so it's not watered down. Just pure tea goodness in a cup. Yum! read more

These were some of the best NY bubble teas we've tried in years of sampling. I had the honeydew milk tea with tapioca and loved it. Good size drink and not too sweet. This is always our to-go bubble tea place due to its location in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The atmosphere is always very pleasant, with top hits and throw-backs playing in the background! My favorite drinks are the almond milk tea or caramel macchiato with pudding. They have a rewards stamp card, where you get a free drink after purchasing six drinks and getting the stamps. We recently got a free bubble tea drink through this process. There is no restroom but that is pretty standard for most bubble tea places. The customer service here is always very friendly and professional. The tables are always clean, along with the seats. Cheers to amazing service and tasty bubble tea selections! We will be back here many times in the future! read more

With the growing popularity of bubble teas I am starting to see it everywhere. In Chinatown or Flushing it's simply ubiquitous. But when I saw a Taiwanese bubble tea joint opening up in my neighborhood Greenpoint, I was thrilled. Not that I even like bubble tea, but I'm all about the little snacks they sell at these places. Greenpoint is a fast changing neighborhood. Tons of new restaurants are opening up everywhere but most of them annoys me simple with their obnoxious price point. I hate expensive restaurants especially being pricy because of gentrification. I grew up in Queens NYC and had been living in Williamsburg / Greenpoint for 10+ years and Greenpoint is never meant to be an expensive area with all the local mom and pop shops. (Which btw are being pushed out by the changing neighborhood). With that said, I was very happy to see that Vivi Bubble Tea is keeping their prices REASONABLE. (Thank you!) The shop is simple and clean with friendly and humble staff. They have a great selection of bubble teas enough to satisfied the fans, but I'm here for the food. The food menu is small, just enough to get your Taiwanese snack craving on. I have tried everything and I loved them all, from Takoyaki (yum) to Fish Tofu (mmm..) to Taiwanese Pork Sausage, etc. but my vote and money is always down for their Popcorn Chicken. #FinalAnswer. With flavors ranging from Spicy, garlic, salt & pepper, basil all coated with crack, delicious, delicious crack. For $3.50 and 4 minutes your Popcorn Chicken comes in a little bag with two skewers and a big smile on your face. Welcome to the neighborhood Vivi, keep up the good work and please don't raise your prices. Thank you come again! read more

Walked in here (finally) after contemplating going before or after heading to my gym, which is across the street. As in, basically after every gym visit I would stare at the storefront, longingly. This time I finally caved. This is a solid Vivi's, all the flavor options available and ample seating up front in stools or at the tables in the back. I noticed they also serve full blown meals, but I haven't tried them (yet). Vivi's has been a longtime fave bubble tea spot of mine because they offer a flavor with actual grapefruit pulp. Most people wouldn't think that the citrus flavor of grapefruit goes well with the pearls, but it surprisingly does. You can adjust the sugar amount to be no sugar, 30%, 50%, 80%, and full, so I after going with 30%, this drink comes out refreshing. The staff is friendly and helpful, too! Check this place out, it's one of the few spots devoted to bubble tea in the area, you won't be disappointed. read more

Great customer service, amazing drinks. The popcorn chicken is spectacular. Would recommend this bubble tea chain.

Great spot for taro bubble tea it's a classic. The passion fruit green tea is also very refreshing.

I love coming here for my bubble tea when I'm in the neighbourhood. They have all different flavors and I'm going to try them all. Got their frequent customer card and soon I'll be able to get a free one after a few more purchases. So far the Matcha bubble tea is my fav. I also liked the ginger bubble tea. Sometimes I even get extra bubbles when I'm in the mood. And it's not overly sweet the milk tea which I like. I also like that they have quick bites to eat. The buns and various flavoured "popcorn" chicken are good. I'm looking to try their takoyaki sometime soon too. The staff is always friendly and willing to help with any questions regarding the teas they offer. read more

I've been to alot of different vivis bubble teas shops in the city and I've go to say compared to the other ones (steinway, junction, times square) the taste of the teas are significantly different and honestly just not as good as other store areas. I find the teas no matter which one you order taste more like juice then tea and lack the same quality you get from ordering at other boba tea places (just my oppinion) also I ordered a jasmine peach pulp tea and they just gave me a peach green tea instead and when I approached them again a few secs later they denied their mistake (I did a taste test) and I know what jasmine and green tea taste like. The store needs to get their stuff together. read more

This Vivi is so great!!! Not only do they have great bubble tea AND food but THEY DELIVER. I've been dreaming of a bubble tea place that delivers to a place like where I work (it's very isolated from the heart of Greenpoint). I also made a mistake with ordering through Yelp to get some bubble tea from here so I called the store and the employees were very helpful. I then tried multiple times to reorder online through every delivery site (I was really craving bubble tea) and none of them were working so I got frustrated and decided to call them to see if I could place the delivery over the phone and they let me! I got the regular milk bubble tea, taro bubble tea, french fries, and their salt and pepper chicken (don't remember if it was popcorn). All of them were so good. Will definitely be ordering from them again. Not to mention it was such a good price that I tipped more than I usually would! read more

Very delicious and creative teas. They deliver to me, and they are fast and efficient. Lots of bubbles and i can ask for less or no sugar. The taste is consistent. My faves are the coconut tea, the taro, and the vivi signature fruit tea. I highly recommend! read more

I wouldn't recommend the red moo tea. It is filled with straight up red bean paste; not the most pleasant experience. I will commend them for their signage for their milk tea though... you can order with various concentrations of sugar (0, 30, 50, 70, and 100 percent) and various levels of ice. Cool instagrammable wall though. read more

solid boba place. the bubbles are a bit more soft/slippery than i like mine to be. interior is kind of small but cozy. pink walls, very cute. TONS of options for flavors! big plus. note: if you're used to the little cute jelly rectangles from kung fu tea, the jelly here is large jellies that are kinda like pudding type / grass jellies. So I hate bubble tea in all it's forms so can't speak for that but I can say that the odd-looking popcorn chicken they sell here for $3.50 a pop is disgustingly amazing. That basil flavor? Forget it- I could eat a pound of those lil chicken droplets from heaven under Vivi's fluorescent lighting. Also everyone who works here is always smiling and acting cute. And there's something "Peewee's Playhouse" about the decor and environment that makes waiting for chicken fun. Love you, Vivi! read more

Green Tea Matcha Smoothie with boba + Fried Chicken (any flavor) is the way to go. I love Vivi Bubble Tea in general. I had a good experience in their 14th street location next to BaoHaus during my first time YEARS ago. I didn't even live here yet back then. Once I moved to LIC, I started to go to the nail salon in Greenpoint, Dashing Diva. One summer day, I stopped by this Greenpoint location to quench my thirst. They had the Green Tea Matcha and being that I love green tea, I decided it was a no brainer. Ever since then it was a must for me to stop every time I am getting my nails done or passing thru Greenpoint on my way to Ikea since it is next to the 278 freeway. I am from the west coast so I know good boba and fried chicken. I had it all... from Westminster to Spring Mountain, LV. The fried chicken here is pretty up there. I will definitely be back. The staff is super nice and I never have to wait long for my food. Make sure you get a stamp card! read more

I was so happy when a Bubble tea place came to the neighborhood. I love Bubble tea! The place is well put together, love that you can see the drinks on the TVs. I ordered the Lychee Tea with Bubbles-- The best! Other places that I have gone to add the ice to the tea but ViVi doesn't do that. They don't try to cut you short on your drink they actually give you what you pay for and they give you a good amount of tapioca. I also tried the popcorn chicken from my friend-- I was lucky to get a piece since it was so good she ate most of it. haven't tried the rest of the food I mostly go just for the tea but I'm guessing that it's all good since I see a lot of people in and out at different times of the day. read more
