The menu is quite extensive, but the clear choice here are the mango options. Both the mango drinks and desserts are super fresh, as it is evident that the mangos are sliced to order. Personally, my favorite is an Asian classic, the Mango Coconut Sticky Rice with Ice Cream. It is also good with sago if you do not prefer the rice. The staff is friendly, and they will help you with deciding on your order, so do not stress if you take too long. Came here right before closing on a weeknight and the staff were pretty friendly despite us coming in just minutes before they left. We rushed to eat our desserts that a friend had ordered beforehand and we were able to stay right up until it was time to go. The menu had a good selection of fruity treats. Was having a terrible night after a bad experience at the Museum of Modern Art and was taken here by a family member in an attempt to cheer me up. We had previously gone to a Mango Mango in Honolulu and enjoyed our time there, which was what prompted us to try out the place in New York. The interior of this Mango Mango had a clean and calming atmosphere, and the service was friendly. We ordered three mango mochis, one coconut mango smoothie-o, and a piece of mango mousse cake. All three had that delicious natural taste of mango, without coming off as too sour or too sweet, and turned my night from awful to decent. The menu also has a large variety of mango themed items, all of which looked incredibly tempting but I would unfortunately have to save for later times. Mango Mango has multiple locations, and this one is technically in my neighborhood (though still a far walk for me, so I won't be making a habit of it). My boyfriend and I stopped in after dinner on a weeknight to try some of their desserts and managed to grab a table (it was super busy!). This time around I didn't love my passion fruit green tea. It was way too sour for me. I did get "less sugar" but for some reason it tasted off. I'm upset I didn't go more of the milk tea route because I think this is where they shine. What saved this experience was the mochi ice cream. It was amazing. Actually one of the better ones I've had recently. I tried two different flavors, chocolate and vanilla chip. Not a lot of chips in the vanilla chip but still tasty just the same. This shop is clean, the associates are kind, the menu is extensive, and the desserts remind me of my favorite CFruit life in Boston with some staple Hong Kong/Taiwan favorites with classic flavors like red bean and taro and dessert soups. This is one of the many locations of Mango Mango, an HK/Hong Kong style dessert shop. I stopped here after eating at the nearby Hupo with others so this review is a long time coming. With another person, we got the A9 Snow White Juice with Mustang King Durian and Black Rice ($8.75) and the S12 Mustang King Durian Mille Crepe Cake ($8.50) while another person got the S14 Dark Chocolate Matcha Honey Cake ($8.25.) Of the three, my easy favorite was the durian and black rice as the durian flavor was a lot stronger. The black rice was in one clump but it added some nuttiness when it was mixed with the tasty durian and the "snow white juice" (whatever this is) added some pleasant sweetness. The mille crepe could have been stronger flavored but it had a nice delicate texture so perhaps I'd recommend the mango one instead. The latter cake was just alright. Outside of looking very similar to the photo, the matcha wasn't super strong and the cake was a bit too bitter as the chocolate was perhaps a bit too dark and I found it a bit dry. I personally wouldn't recommend that one. Friendly people. Pretty solid desserts. Low 4/upper 3 overall. read more
