Lastly, while the container looks small in circumference, it is taller than other takeout containers, so the portions are really about the same as any other restaurant. The service at Hi Node is so friendly. The staff greets everyone and they are so warm and welcoming. There's not a ton of indoor seating, but I've always managed to get a seat to either enjoy my food there or to wait while it's prepared and take it to go. I hadn't heard of this fabulous small batch ice cream shop previously and I'm so happy it's on my radar now. Hopefully they will expand into Manhattan in the future. They offered a choice from 2 flavors at the pop up, Rose or Vanilla. I went with Rose which was perfectly fragrant and not too sweet. Shout out to their onsite team who also work in their ice cream shops... friendly, personable and informative about their ice cream business plus the new fragrance from Acne Studios x Parfums Frédéric Malle.
