I ordered lunch from here at work via Uber eats based on all the great reviews but was super disappointed. The Ridgewood roll was actually good - the mango adds a nice sweetness and I definitely recommend this roll. However, I also got the magic roll and there were 2 separate hard pieces of either bone or scales in that sushi which was so bizarre. I've never had that experience with sushi before and I ended up throwing out most of it because I didn't want anymore surprises in my bites. Hoping this was just a one time error in the pieces of fish they used and no one else experiences this, but I don't see myself giving them another chance. read more

Still love this place and the owner! He is kind and remembers people! The sushi is amazing and so tasty. I really also love the poke bowls which I pick up from here often! Oddly enough, the best sushi place in Bushwick/Ridgewood is a yogurt shop. I've never seen anyone really order yogurt there, but it seems like it would be nice when it's warm. The rolls are interesting enough. The price is right. The sushi tastes good. Ok I'm from LA, so I'm a sushi snob. I don't get why all the places in Brooklyn use huge chunks of avocado, so just know that's a common thing around these parts. Save money and real estate so they don't have to use more fish? Anyhoo, it is what it is. I think the owner also does the deliveries. You have to call in delivery orders, they don't use the apps. They're good with answering their phone at least. This is my go-to spot. I like their speciality rolls too and their lunch special is a deal. The chef/owner actually cares about sushi too. I think it would be cool to give them lots of business so he comes up with some other cool rolls. read more

Tried a poke bowl for the first time ever here and it was one of the best decisions I had today! I created my own rice bowl with shrimp, avocado, cucumber, and kani salad. The guy that made the poke bowl was friendly and looked genuinely happy to be making food and serving his customers. I asked for his recommendation for the sauce I should include with my creation and he went with spicy mayo. This will be my go to order from now on. Next time, I will try the sushi! read more

Don't let the name fool you, the sushi is GREAT. I have eaten from here 10-15 times now. The salmon is my favorite, always fresh. I'm moving out of the neighborhood and am sad to not have such a great sushi spot nearby. read more

If you want to eat amazing top tier sushi at a very very good price go here. I promise you the quality is amazing from nigiri to the specialty rolls and hand rolls it will not disappoint. I go to a lot of high end NYC sushi and omakase spots and the quality here is literally equivalent or better no lie. I went 3x just this week. The other great thing is they have poke available, also phenomenal and fresh and they have a great selection of froyo for after. Overall It's small, independently owned, and very friendly staff that will treat you right and give you customized pieces and creations. Great for quick service dining in or even to go, easy street parking available and subway access nearby. Can't recommend enough. read more

This is my absolute favorite poke bowl spot. I've moved away years ago but I keep coming back for the poke and the super tasty and innovative sushi. This was my first time coming here with my friend. We ordered the lunch special -3 rolls and bubble tea. The place is really cute and clean. The staff is really friendly as well. One of the staff recommended their speciality rolls because he makes his own custom sauce. I'm excited to try that another time! I've been a loyal costumer for 7 years. Seven the owner is absolutely amazing, kind and makes sure his costumers are well taken care of. Thier sushi is always fresh and tasty. I come here all the time for Poke bowls and I give this place a 4.5 stars! The price is really great and the Poke bowls are made fresh right there. I love the salmon and the spicy tuna with spicy mayo or poke sauce. They have a choice over salad or rice. I would like to try the poke burrito sometime. They also have good maki and sashimi. The guy who makes the food is the best, he's always really nice and accommodating. This review is making me crave a poke bowl, I might have to stop and get dinner there tonight. The frozen yogurt is pretty good too, most of it is low fat and they have every topping possible. I've gotten poke here twice with my friend. We really like this spot. Everything is fresh and tasty. The (owner) I believe,is really funny. He said "I make the best sushi, if you don't like it I'll refund you". Only thing I would change is the portion size. It's on the smaller side compare to most poke place I've been to. read more

They are doing many things right here. To start, they're clean. This is especially important for a froyo place since it's easy for the toppings to get out of hand with sprinkles and chocolate syrup everywhere. But when I was here, the workers kept watch over the toppings and wiped around the bins to keep the area clean. Also offered is a great variety of frozen yogurt choices (desserty flavors as well as fruity). Their selection for toppings is also exciting with a lot of fruit, nuts, and candy. They have some of my favorites such as tricolor cookies, brownie bites, and oreo crumbs. Lastly, but not any less important, they have great decor that includes various colored cups you can choose to start your creation. This froyo spot is the Tardis of dessert places. Why? Because not only can you get great frozen yogurt, with fresh toppings as opposed to the usual stuff from mass market bags, but they also serve some of the best Poke and Sushi in the Bushwick/Ridgewood area. Both are served from a deceptively small prep station in the front corner where all the fish dishes are prepared with a level of care you wouldn't expect from a place serving Boba. Did I mention they do smoothies, boba, and other drinks too? Because they have your caffeine and sugar fixes covered in beverage form as well. If you're ever using the Myrtle Wyckoff subway station and you don't treat yourself to a stop by this place, you're doing yourself a disservice. read more

This is my all time favorite fro-yo place. The prices are pretty standard, the flavors rarely change, and the toppings are the same as pretty much every other fro-yo place. But what really makes this place shine is the consistency and the kindness. The family who owns this place is so warm and welcoming. They always have smiles on their faces. You can tell that they are hardworking because they truly love what they do. The place is always spotless, the machines are never run down, and the yogurt is never runny. In my decade of living throughout NY, my only regret is that I didn't order sushi or a poke bowl from here sooner. Food is always fresh and delicious, and so affordable. Seven is the BEST sushi chef & business owner. He's so friendly and devoted to satisfying his customers. When he first opened the sushi bar he even allowed me to test out a complementary vegetarian roll for being a loyal customer to his frozen yogurt (I was pregnant and going several times a week). He also was willing to accommodate me in the future purchasing a tofu poke bowl. I will never forget that kind gesture. Always a nice change of pace. There's like one table inside and one table outside with some benches. Normally we are doing pop ins so I don't always sit. When it's nice out, it's nice to enjoy a treat outside We do a walk in the morning and love popping in to see what's calling our name. Recently we have been partaking on the Pumpkin Spice Season. It's like a warm hug. This place brings me so much joy! And now that the holidays are around the corner, I'm excited to see what is coming up, will there be pies in my future.
