Solid neighborhood coffee spot with an Ecuadorian twist. Friendly and quick service with folding chairs and tables for guests on demand. Tried the hot raices latte which was very good. 8.5/10. The cinnamon was a bit overwhelming for me and you couldn't taste the other flavors much

LOVE this coffee shop! Cholita offers some well-made coffee drinks, and we loved stopping by! I had their Cocada, which was prepared with double espresso, milk, sweetened condensed milk, and coconut - came out extra hot, as requested, and the drink was just expertly made. Staff were super kind and friendly, and there are a handful of seating inside. The space is minimal, but I loved the artwork. Such a great spot to get your caffeine fix and/or to do some work. Thanks, Cholita! +delicious coffees +friendly staff & service

I just had an amazing experience at Cholita, the new coffee spot in Ridgewood, this past weekend! We got two mocas made with oat milk (perfect for my dairy-free cravings!), and they were absolutely delicious. The drinks came in cute cups tagged with the Cholita logo - loved the touch! We also tried the breakfast and cheese empanadas, and OMG they did NOT disappoint (don't skip the assortment of homemade sauces). Flaky, savory, and so good...If you're in Ridgewood, you gotta check out Cholita. Can't wait to come back and try the raices drink with the star anise for a unique touch and flavor. Also, the maple latte. Viva Ecuador and Bienvenidos - Besos!

Ridgewood has definitely been gentrified over the past couple of years but that is not necessarily a bad thing, just something to adjust to. Cholita is a cute Ecuadorian coffee shop that offers different drinks & some pastries as well. I had the raíces drink which was great- the star anise was a nice touch. I'm looking forward to trying other drinks from here.

Love having Cholita as a neighborhood coffee shop. It's the perfect place to get coffee to go to kickstart your day. The raices is great; the combination of the three sweets/spices (cinnamon, star anise, and panela) blends beautifully. The cocada is also great. The coconut and condensed milk make that latte smooth as heck. There's about 3 or 4 tablespoons, best for sitting with a friend to chat for a little bit, but it's also possible to get some focused work time here, as long as you do not anticipate needing a lot of space to spread out. The artwork around the cafe regarding the diaspora is what takes this from a typical neighborhood coffee shop to a place with roots and intention.

Absolutely loved Cholita Coffee Shop. The cocada latte was delicious but the raíces latte stole the show and is definitely my favorite. This is hands down my favorite coffee spot.

My new favorite coffee shop in Ridgewood because the coffee is great, the decor is minimalistic but purposeful, and they're with the watermelon cause. I had their Raices latte and it's going to be my go-to forever and ever. Lol. I'm currently dreaming about it right now! That panela, cinnamon, and star anise is a triple threat that can't be beat. The Dulce de Leche is creamy and topped with sea salt... it wasn't too sweet but it was just like drinking a not too sweet dessert. LOL. The double shot of espresso in each of the drinks were perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up which is exactly why I went. I was served quickly and the people working at the time were very welcoming! Many people were hanging around the cafe spreading good vibes as well. Rooting for this business to last for a good minute/forever. :)

Cholita is my new fave modern, Latin, coffee spot! I go on morning walks and always want to find a good spot to pick up my caffeine on the way back. I spotted this place awhile ago and I'm so happy that I finally made it. I quickly loved the simplified aesthetic to the decor at the shop, highlighting the culture from the coffee. Yet, the walls being white and blank give it that modern, minimalist vibe. The barista nailed it when he asked if I was Mexican. I happened to be wearing a "day of the dead" hoodie and also ordered the "Raices" drink. He said it's very popular amongst Mexicans because of the cinnamon. I really enjoyed it. So much so that I took my Mamacita recently. I want to try the "Cocada" sweetened condensed milk and coconut! Yum! Also the Ecuadorian chocolate for the mocha sounds delicious! I also love that they have a stamp card. I'm a sucker for a stamp card.

I would get an iced cocada from Cholita everyday if I could! This drink is like a latté with sweetened condensed milk. So good! I enjoy the hot version, too. I also enjoy Cholita for their friendly staff, the art that they feature, the very chill atmosphere, and their pop-ups! They hosted one pop-up with flan and it was so good! They are also very kind about allowing flyers for local events. I like being able to go there and see what else is going on in the neighborhood.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. This coffee shop is great. I've had the Cocada and Raices and they're both delicious. There's seating outside which is super cute as well as inside I've never had any issues finding a seat, the aesthetic is very calm and it's super local so there's no crazy lines.

This little coffee shop here is AWESOME. I was looking for coffee shops in Queens that I didn't have to travel too far to get quality coffee. This little shop knocks it out of the park. The service here is awesome, and every drink here is an experience to try. The quality of the coffee is really tasty, and you can tell that the baristas know the craft well. This place looks like it's just starting out, so they don't have much seating, but that's okay, all good things take time. This place is worth the travel to! I really like the Cocada drink option they have, as well as the Moca. I highly recommend this place to visit and have a coffee!

Favorite coffee of the weekend. Really simple and clean interior. Not fussy. This is a mid-stop if you are in the area.

We started with a cocktail made with mint, ginger, vodka, and beetroot juice. The woman working there told us they make their own juice fresh every day, and you could really taste the difference. It tasted as good as it looked! For starters, we ordered the choila roti and the Buffalo momos. Both were incredible - the flavors and presentation were amazing. The sauce over the momos was so flavorful and colorful, and the jerk chicken in the roti was perfectly seasoned. For our entree, we split the poleko lamb, which arrived on a sizzling plate and was packed with such vibrant, delicious flavors. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Everything was beautiful, creative, flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of care!

My friend and I decided to share everything. We ordered: GARLIC NAAN 5/5 These garlic naans were probably the best we've both tried. As soon as we took a bite, we are both impressed. And to think that we would have missed out if our server didn't suggest it... These particular naans are made different from the traditional Iones. They are coated with buttery goodness and are super thin. The hummus on the side was also a very good pairing. I would recommend this app. PORK JHOL MOMO 5/5 These pork momos were also super delicious! Comparing it to the ones I've had at another restaurant, there is no overpowering cilantro in this one! The momo itself was very juicy. The flavor of the inside and the soup was delicious. Another must-get! CHICKEN KHAJA PLATTER 4/5 My friend and I were probably the least impressed with this one. A lot of the dish includes a lot of dry ingredients like popped rice & soybean seeds. They also used cold meats and veggies. It was great to try each portion of the platter, but wasn't our personal favorites of our visit here. Overall, we had a delicious lunch. We throughly enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend this local spot. I did think it was worth the trip over.
