First & foremost, I don't even like cats but I can appreciate how cute this place is lol. I had gone here for a quick breakfast & got the bagel with lox & cream cheese. It was tasty & I liked the pickled onions on it a lot- it was a nice touch. Also, the owner was really sweet & was happy to explain all of the cats painted as well which was really sweet. Lastly, if you do love cats, they do indeed have a lot of cats in the back! All in all, this is a cute spot. read more

I love trying new small coffee shops, it has become one of my favorite things to do lately, found Cute Cat Cafe because is 4 min away from my gym and the place is definitely CUTE! The server was great to me, she was very gentlemen and kind! I like the fact that they have coffees and breakfast options! They also have Turmeric Iced Latte and Matcha! This visit I went for their Ice coffee with hazelnut and milk. Definitely a treat for a Monday morning Would definitely recommend it, and maybe try their pastries cause in my opinion they smell and look delicious! I dont give them a 5 star review because they dont have Syrups options on the display which I find very helpful! read more

Lovely little cafe in the Ridgewood area. I came in on a Tuesday at near 7 pm so it was pretty empty. I ordered an iced matcha latte with almond milk ($7) and it wasn't great. The quality of the matcha was poor - it felt very watered down and gritty. That being said, there's a large seating area both in the front and back of the cafe, so I would come back again for a study spot or to WFH. Plus, the ambiance of the place is really nice. Music selection is great and there's a very cute community board full of cat drawings! I'd just avoid getting the matcha the next time around. read more

This coffee shop lives up to its name! I came here to do some work for a while before heading to the airport. The cafe feels very cozy and seems to have some regulars pop in and out. I had a Nutella latte, a bagel and a cookie. I loved the latte art they did on my drink. The bagel tasted like a regular New York style bagel. The cookie was great too. Not a place where you would actually meet cats like I thought with other cat cafes I been to, but it was still an ok spot. But I did see their rules sign at the table that they do allow cat owners to bring your own kitties? However, no one had cats when I was there. Food was pretty good. I had the brown sugar boba with the California bagel(I think that's what it was called?) with egg and cheese. They also have plug sockets at each table and WiFi, so it's a great place to charge your phone or work on your laptop or tablet. Only downside is that I think customer service could have been a teeny bit more better. Girls working there seemed like they were either tired, not happy working, or just not into being that interactive or friendlier with customers. Overall if I'm in NYC again, I don't think I'd mind coming here again. read more

From the outside this place seems like a small cafe but once you're inside there's plenty of room for dining in. I really enjoyed the ambiance, and their interior design. Coincidentally my mother currently watches a Turkish soap opera and was excited to have coffee and breakfast here. The servers were very kind as well with answering questions and explaining their menu. I had myself a Golden Latte and it was delicious, they have a decent size coffee menu. Had such a great experience at the Cute Cat Cafe. Not the best quality espresso I've ever had, but my maple latte was overall good. Very reasonably priced as well. Quiet work environment with a good amount of seating and outlets. Very cozy vibe. Outdoor area in the back as well. No actual cats at the cafe, but there were signs saying you could bring yours. Once seated, a barista came over to our table and gave us complimentary cookies! I don't know how common this is, but it was a nice surprise. I would return if I lived in the city. read more

What a cute cafe!! This cafe definitely lived up to its name, the atmosphere was perfect, with ample seating, lighting, and amazing decor. I loved how homey and vintage the interior was, with lots of cute cat sculptures and art prints. I believe there was also an outdoor back area to enjoy your food outside. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating, they delivered to our table and drew the cutest cat on the waffle plate. I purchased the tropical waffle and the cafe specialty smoothie. When I came I didn't see any cats :( but when my boyfriend came at a different time, there were only two cats and both were very shy and scared. It makes sense because I think they're all stray cats. Gotta respect them. The food outside attracts bugs and I spotted some wasps. I like the interior decorations of the cafe and the people working were nice for sure and explained any questions I had. The last time I was here, I used to like the atmosphere. The workers were nice but today, this one waitress working on wednesday night (I came in around 6 pm) was a total snob. I only asked for a matcha latte and from the start she had an attitude. With oat milk, i said, and she poured regular milk to the brim. If I didn't see her pour regular milk, I wouldn't have noticed. I AM ALLERGIC TO REGULAR MILK! Luckily I did catch her and told her I ordered oat milk and she said "well that's a dollar extra" as if I wasn't willing to pay that, as if she assumes I have no money. I really did enjoy this cafe back then, but they need to pick and choose who they hire!!!! because this girl seems like she doesn't know anything. Especially with the attitude she gave me the whole time making my drink. She took a bit long too as if she didn't know how to make a matcha. I understand if she's still under training but that's no excuse for the attitude. On top of that, when she remade my drink with oat milk, she filled it to the brim with it, barely any matcha or vanilla even though i asked for 3 pumps, it tasted like milk. you could tell this does not look like it tastes how matches supposed to taste. even though last time, it was good. i don't know if i wanna come here again if she's gonna be working here. light brown hair with a slight accent. update: before i left she asked how my matcha was and if i needed anything. i can't tell if it was genuine or fake though. it could've been a bad day for her but im still just disappointed, that's it. read more

We came here after my sons graduation and it was semi busy at that time. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating. We sat outside and ordered inside as they don't have waitresses. Such a cheerful, cozy, clean and welcoming little cafe! Wonderful window seating on a long bench covered with cat pillows! Cat decor and little cute cat faces everywhere you look. Sometimes you might have to look twice. There was a cat clock right above us. We had already eaten our fill when we happened across this establishment. I was looking in the window. The friendly host urged us in for an espresso which was just what we needed. They serve Lavazza coffee and it is excellent. Everyone inside, staff and customers, just seemed happy. Such a positive vibe here. A place to linger over your cappuccino and light sandwich. A hometown atmosphere you will never experience at Starbucks baby. Pastries and sweet creations were on display behind glass and they looked so yummy. So sad that we were already full, who knew? I love them for so many reasons and not just because its down the block but because all the lovely ladies or nice gentleman behind the counter are very nice and welcoming. They make the best lattes and such cute latte art. The vibes are great :) depending on whos working you will get different music but I love it all from meek mill to lana del rey. :D The decor is great wooden old fashioned yet classy. So many seats! It's silly to be surprised by this but it's rare to find in cafes. There are plenty of tables to choose from inside, an entire section in their outside yard, and then some front window seats. It looks clean and professional, unlike the usual "antique-chic" decor cafes go for. It is a nice change of pace and I comfortably enjoyed my coffee without feeling like someone else was waiting for my chair. The service is great; they were kind, attentive, and answered all of my questions. They even bring your order to your table if you're staying. I enjoyed an iced caramel latte with almond milk, which was perfectly smooth and not too sweet. I tried their apple turnover and chocolate mousse cake as well. Both were good enough for me to want to try the other cakes and pastries they have. They are also unique in that they close later, which I appreciate. I like having the option to visit after dinner for a tea or ice cream. What I do wish is that they added some vegan dessert options or vegan lunch choices. Great neighborhood Cafe, really a 3.5 but bumped it up a notch because of how novel the place, and the fact that I enjoy supporting local small businesses. Came here by chance and the person I was with was super delighted to see the entire cafe covered in cat pictures. Saw the menu and was delighted by the fact that there was a Nutella option for alot of the items here, always a plus. Ordered the lox sandwich and special waffle and the nutrlella latte. The good, lox sandwich was delicious, had capers onions and basically the works to make it an extreme delicious and well put together sandwich, the special waffle was basically covered in Nutella, you can never go wrong with more well place Nutella. The bad, the Nutella ice latte had Nutella, but it seems their idea of a Nutella latte is just dumping some Nutella in regular coffee and letting it clump up at the bottom....... Was incredibly mortified when I had to stir endlessly at the concoction and still slurp up a weird Nutella goop at the end. A suggestion? Maybe blend the Nutella into the beverage? Sooooooo good!! I honestly can't say how long they've been open but this places is the spot. I've been living around here for years and I can't believe Ive never been. It's a a cute little cafe hence the name. Very cozy and seriously delicious. My husband ordered a cappuccino and was in love and I myself ordered a hot chocolate, it's weird to say it was so good because well it's a hot chocolate how good can a regular old hot chocolate be right??? Well it was delicious. The food!!! Simple yet filling and very tasty, not overwhelming. We had the tropical fruit waffles. We also ordered 2 eggs with veggies cheese and toast. So good. I will definitely be back. We saw a few people working in their laptops. Definitely a good place to visit if you work from home and wanna get out for a bit. 10/10 recommend. read more
