Terrific spot to have a coffee in a cozy environment. Strong wifi. Friendly counter people who work here. Bagels and some pastries. Assorted coffee and tea drinks hot and cold. The place itself has a decent amount of seating with individual tables on with a larger communal tables. Only a few outlets along the wall in the back so come charged up.

Surprise bag via the too good to go app

I learned about Milk & pull through too good to go . My surprise bag was really generous - scones, croissants and bagels. The scones were very fresh and the almond croissant was delicious .

Huge lemon poppyseed scone. It's so buttery and tastes more like a croissant-shortbread mix.

I have to do it. I'm taking two of my stars back, for three reasons: 1. There's barely ever any seats available. Most tables are taken over by single people on their laptops, with the chair opposite them empty. 2. Yes, I always go later in the day. But that doesn't mean they should only have a few pastries left. They need to stock more options that could last more days, so the afternoon crowd could have more to choose from. And more vegan options, please. 3. I already didn't like that they don't have any flavors for their coffee. However, I have to add a complaint after my most recent visit when my sister ordered an iced latte. Instead of a plastic cup, they gave her the same cup that's used for hot drinks. I would accept this if the paper cup was eco-friendly, but it's not. I kind of hope they ran out of plastic cups because if they think a paper one is okay for an iced beverage, that's ridiculous. My sister's cup was almost soggy by the time she finished since it doesn't allow condensation.

Cute library with spooky reads!!

Sandwiches are either on or off depending on the day. Today was charged $5 for a cold brew when it's always 4? Just confused.

Ridgewood

I really enjoyed my dinner here with a friend…read more We shared the duck choila, the vegetarian momo, and the chicken and cheese roti. The duck appetizer was very flavorful and the duck was pleasantly chewy. The vegetarian jhol momo had a simple, vegetable filling with a pleasant texture with a perfectly chewy wrapper. However, the real star was the broth they are served in. The flavor was bright and intense. Our entree, the roti, really tasted like a delicious chicken quesadilla. It had a slightly crispy exterior and just enough filling and was pleasantly rich and greasy. It paired well with the black bean curry and the additions of slaw and tangy achar perfectly cut the richness. This place serves authentic Nepalese flavors but with a more approachable menu studded with items more familiar for a less adventurous eater- the type of place you can take your parents to.
