Curley's sourdough bagels are delicious! They are lighter and chewier than a traditional bagel. So far I've tried: -Rosemary salt bagel with black truffle cream cheese -Za'atar bagel with gochujang cream cheese -Jalapeno cheddar bagel with gochujang cream cheese The jalapeno cheddar bagel was my favorite! You could see the jalapeno slices baked into the bagel and it had a tiny bit of a kick. The gochujang cream cheese paired well with it but it wasn't spicy on its own. Keep an eye out for the sign in the store displaying their seasonal bagel and schmear flavors. The sandwich menu also looks really good. The shop is small inside with no seats, but there are a few benches outside.

I'm not being biased but every time I get a bagel here it hits. The place is super nice the staff are great the owner is always there working the line. What else could you want? If you haven't please go get you a bagel with a coffee. When I'm in town I know where I'm going !!

Came at 12:20 PM on a Sunday and there was a short line that moved pretty fast. I got the lox royale on rosemary salt with vegan cc, which was sooo good. Would get it on a different bagel next time though because there is a slight upcharge for the rosemary, and the flavor was kind of lost in all the other flavors anyway. Also got some dry bagels to take home: Rosemary salt, whole wheat and apple cider cinnamon were all great. Sourdough bagels rule. Sadly they were out of my favorite bagel type (everything). Next time!

Sunnyside's Top bagel , hands down!! Small shop will a fast paced customer service. They have an abundant amount of bagels and sandwiches. Staff are very patient, friendly, helpful and polite. Now their BEC (Bacon Egg And Cheese) is what is supposed to be packed and stacked with all the ingredients in a bagel!! If you're in Sunnyside or passing by, Stop over here!! This is the One bagel shop you need try!! You won't be disappointed!

I tagged along with my family for a Yelp event at Curley's. For whatever reason, I must have forgotten to RSVP but I don't fret. I always order extra and honestly, that plain bagel wasn't going to cut it for me, especially after seeing their display and menu. This is a take-out establishment. Their space is devoted to their kitchen and pumping out freshly baked, uniquely flavored bagels for the public. As per usual, Curley was upfront and center, handling orders and helping customers. I opted for the Lox Royale on a rosemary salt bagel. It's amazing. It looks like it might be too much but in my opinion, it's not enough. I had it pretty much as is, with the scallion CC and regular lox. I shared and ended up order two more to go. Instead of scallion, I went with their jalapeño CC and liked that a lot more. The little kick was what was missing for me. The pickled onions and tobiko compliment the bagel and I think open-faced is the only way to enjoy this particular sando. Next time, however, I will definitely get their pastrami lox instead of the smoked. I bought a half dozen bagels, including the za'tar and aleppo pepper. All of them are so good. They are soft and chewy, perfect bagels. Their CC options have some interesting flavors as well. The gochujang was OK but I would love that on a Korean style sangwich. I think that would be awesome with some short ribs. I might have to do some home kitchen experiments in the near future. We also grabbed a few of the Curley's dogs. They're essentially hotdogs in a bagel blanket. I got the jalapeño cheddar and everything dogs. They are very easy to reheat at home. I would only suggest getting a better char on the dogs, in the air fryer and heat up the bagel blanket wrapped in foil, in the oven. One of the staff told me separately reheat is best and I'm glad I listened. Curley let me taste his smoked whitefish and I absolutely loved it. I ended up ordering the whitefish open-faced sangwich as well. I got it on the superseeded bagel, as per Curley's suggestion, and it did not disappoint. Everything we had was great. I've found my new go-to when in the area. This will be a staple whenever in Sunnyside. It's very close to me and you already know I will travel for some food. My only grip is that I wish they had more of a hot bevvy selection. We made do but I'm not really a coffee person and they only had coffee or tea when we visited.

I visited this bagel shop last weekend playing chauffeur to my bestie. My order included: a hot cup of coffee, a hot dog wrapped in a sesame crunch roll, the Pat Lafrieda cheesesteak with onions and peppers bagel, and the Pat Lafrieda steak and eggs with cheese on a bagel. For my coffee, it had a nice, strong roast, perfect for waking me up. I was pleased to see they had both almond and oat milks (I like dairy, but it doesn't like me back... HA!). The hot dog sesame crunch roll was perfect for me to munch on during the drive home. Portable and satisfying. As for the sammies, the amount of meat they stuffed in both sandwiches was worth the price. (Disclaimer: my hubs felt adding Pat Lafrieda's name to it gave the sandwiches a little more clout to elevate the price and questioned if it was worth it. He didn't feel it tasted any differed than store bought sliced beef. I felt it was a good balance of fat/lean meat/flavor). Best eaten hot, those bagel really did a fantastic job of soaking up all that delicious grease, too. It was messy (had to be consumed sitting down), but totally worth it. My only qualm was that there's absolutely no indoor seating and no bathroom available for customers. It was raining on the day that we went, and the only place to sit or outdoor benches. This would be a great local stop otherwise if the weather is good. Also, they are only open from 7:30 to 3:30, so plan accordingly if you decide to make a visit. Kudos for the Friendly service!

On a rainy Sunday morning the place was pretty busy. Service was efficient, but my 3rd bagel took a while to get. The person at the register was helpful, the person giving the orders was meticulous. The coffee was hot. The bagels were well toasted. The schmears were generously ny! The bacon was crisp. The truffle cream cheese had scallion in it, and had a nice truffle flavor. The allepo bagel was a little too salty for my salt averse palate.

Came back here to try their black truffle smear on rosemary salt bagel and scallion smear on jalepeno cheddar bagel. Jalepeno was not spicy at all (I have low spice tolerance). Both soo good. I really liked the black truffle and rosemary combination. I would like to try their gochujang cream cheese next time. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a morning bagel. Probably top 2 bagel shops in queens for sure.

Stopped by and enjoyed the plain bagel with coffee. Decided to order 3 more bagels for my family. I got a blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese however they messed up and gave me plain cream cheese. Got cinnamon raisin and Parmesan and oregano bagels with egg and cheese. They were fresh, delicious and very filling. Adding this spot to my breakfast spot go to!

Curley's is a cute, modern corner shop in Sunnyside. It has a bit of that Williamsburg/Greenpoint vibe and that's not a bad thing! The staff greeted us when we walked in, and we're super happy to chat about their offerings. Those included a variety of fresh bagels, many with interesting flavors (jalapeño cheddar I'm looking at you) and a bunch of sandwich combos. I love that their menu lists their BEC's under the title "LEMMEGETAAAA" because that word is such a key part of our native vocabulary. Also of note is their iced tea, which is on tap. We will return.

We're back in NYC and exploring more of Queens/Brooklyn, so we wanted to start off with the basics -- a good bagel. Found Curley Bagels through Google reviews and decided to give it a shot. Totally worth it. We tried: Aleppo bagel - Spicy, flavorful, and super unique. This one stood out and I'd 100% come back just for it. Parmesan oregano - Tastes like a pizza bagel in the best way possible. Cheesy, herby, and super satisfying. Staff was really friendly and welcoming, and the vibe inside is clean and simple. The menu has some creative options, which we're definitely coming back to explore more of.

This place has some very unique bagels. I tried one with cinnamon and another with jalapeños, which I've never seen anywhere else. Both were delicious and definitely stood out from the usual options. The vibe was cool, with music playing makes it a very chill atmosphere. Also, the service was quick and friendly. This is officially my new go to spot!

Was first introduced to Curley's Bagels thanks to the "Along the 7 Train" Yelp event. I was thankful for that introduction after an early Sunday morning airport run. On my way back I decided a bagel for breakfast was exactly what was needed for my trouble. Upon arrival a parking spot was not in my cards on this particular morning, so a temporary spot at a hydrant was a risk I decided to take. Curley's had steady traffic, but I quickly perused the menu and decided I would go with the AVOCADO SANGWICH on an Aleppo Pepper Bagel. After some wait, the bag was secured and I scurried back to the car. The Avocado Sangwich with Mashed avocado, heirloom tomato, fried egg, pepitas, pickled red onion, micro pea tendrils, Zhoug sauce was hearty with a fresh earthy taste. I could have used a sprinkle of salt and pepper to seal the deal. Nonetheless I truly enjoyed my bagel selection and might I add, it was quite filling and I had to save 1/2 for later indulgence. Well worth the pit stop on the way home. Just A Note: The specialty breakfast "sangwiches" might be consider a treat because they will run you double digits.

I can't emphasize how excited I am for them to be here, bringing one of our best neighborhood bites to a new neighborhood which desperately needs more affordable and diversified options. This modern Vietnamese sandwich spot offers banh mi inspired by other East and Southeast Asian flavors. I personally like reaching for their regular banh mi and their lemongrass chicken banh mi. You would be remiss if you didn't get the banh mi or kimchi fries, and their monster rolls which are a newer creation but are essentially giant lumpia with any and all of the sauces they have available. Another plus is that they have pretty creative drinks, like their refreshers and virgin mojitos, for a nice little drink that isn't too calorie-dense depending on what you get. It's clearly more geared toward take out, and I fully intend to come back in the spring so I can take my sandwich to the park. I ordered the classic banh mi, with pork, headcheese, pork pate, mayo, carrot daikon slaw, cucumber, and cilantro. It was ready very quickly. The bun was perfectly toasted and fresh, crispy on the outside with a soft and light inside. For about $11 they packed a good amount of meat and veggies into the sandwich. The pork and headcheese were sliced nice and thin; and the fresh cilantro, crisp cucumber and tangy carrot/daikon complemented the meat nicely. My only complaint was that there was way too much mayo. I normally love mayo on a sandwich but even for me they put a lot. You can even see how much there is in the photo; I showed it to someone else and they thought it was cheese. Next time I think I'd tell them to go light on the mayo, or maybe get none at all.
