While in the area and hungry I found this spot on Yelp and just by looking at the photos and seeing the food I had to check it out and I'm glad I did. This place has plenty of inside seating as well as some outdoor seating. I ordered my food at the front counter with Salazar I believe was his name, such a nice and humble guy I must say. Wish more places had people like this guy! I got the chicken sandwich which was hands down probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I ever had. The sandwich came on a wrap with chicken fries beans tomato's lettuce and Mexican cheese inside. This food combination was excellent and the fries that were on the side were so fresh and not oily like most fries are. Also while walking to my table some guy ordered a steak and wow it look sooo delicious!! This place also has a nice espressos machine and makes great coffee! The food was incredibly good, I highly recommend visiting! I passed by yesterday after finding the place on Yelp and decided to grab something to eat here and complete some work on my laptop. The place was great and the workers were incredibly friendly. The food was incredibly good. I ordered the BLT and a strawberry smoothie (? I can't remember actually). The sandwich was so good and came with a side of banana and strawberries. The drink was very refreshing as well. No complaints! I believed the total of my order came out to ~$22. As for the place itself, there's a lot of room for seating, indoor and some outdoor seating. It's a nice place to stop by when you're in the area with friends or even alone. As for getting work done, I was pretty productive. I went around 2-3pm and it was pretty empty. I had on my noise cancelling headphones so I couldn't tell if the place was loud or not. I came on a weekday around six and it was full of Eastern European men that didn't seem like they were patrons, but they were taking up all the seating in the outdoor space. Because the door was left open cigarette smoke was going in the place. The decor is pretty basic, nothing I would recommend that is inviting. I got the Thai iced tea bubble tea and it was not that good it was drinkable, but definitely would not recommend it. as it got later towards 730pm a bunch of teenagers came in, and they were quite loud. They serve breakfast and a variety of coffee. They also serve flavored teas and boba teas. The egg waffle, itself, is delish. Perfect flavor and consistency. I had the Smoked Salmon and Egg on Egg Waffle and my company all had the B.L.A.T. (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo) on Egg Waffle. Both were super satisfying. Love this kind of breakfast. I was introduce to this place because my friend live in the neighborhood. The place is very good for chillin' for a little bit with friends, a place where you can read and do some writing. I'm more use to grab and go style of time square, this place is not meant for that, it's more of a place where you can just enjoy the moment. I enjoy mocha and the sandwich, Brie is one o of the cheese they use, and it's pretty amazing because Brie is my favorite. I will try to bring more people to check the place out but I don't know if I'm going to encourage them to come back, because for me on my personal point of view, I don't know what it is but I'm looking for something more. Extremely disappointed. It is so unfortunate because it's one of my local spots to grab coffee and study. I ordered iced latte and the girl working there added so much milk that the espresso shot was overflowing. Basically, I had milk latte as the espresso shot did not fit much in the cup. I also ordered lox salad. When the girl made it, it was missing avocado and had no dressing besides oil. When I asked if she had avocado that comes with the salad she said no. I also asked for any kind of dressing since it was tasteless and she told me that she does not have any kind of dressing just oil (she pointed at oil). They also did not have Splenda only Equal and regular sugar (this is not anything major but you expect a coffee shop to have sweetener options). Plus, with everything else that happened, I was so ready to just leave. I will be back to this place. Not giving up yet because they are usually really good and make some great lattes. I have written a good review in the past and it would be a shame for this cozy place to go to waste. I believe the owner(s) opened a new coffee shop near by and simply deserted "The Spot." I am hoping they take this as constructive criticism and realize that they need to invest time in both places. read more

Honestly this place is nice , the staff is nice. But this place does not follow covid rules at all. There's no social distancing even tho they have outdoor and indoor seating. This cafe is small and there's about 20 people in here all with no masks even if they're not eating anything. And they're still letting more people walk in. I understand not having a mask on because it's indoor dining but they should at least enforce 6ft or limit their capacity. They have a machine to check temperatures but don't even require people to have their temp checked before entering. I would come here prior to covid and it was all fine I would definitely recommend it but if you're a cautious person especially currently with covid still around I would not come here. read more
