This bakery is so good that I have debated asking the church across the street if I could move in there, just so I could be closer. Normally, when you think about a bakery, you think sweets and boy, do they do sweets very well here. Delicious blackout cake cupcakes. Amazing coconut cupcakes. The only moist crumb cake on earth! But the bacon-cheddar-chive scone is really one of my desert island foods; I would be happy to eat one of those every day. There is no reason to ever go to a place like Starbucks when you are lucky enough to have this place in your neighborhood; no chain could compare to this homemade deliciousness. And the place itself is very nice. The counter people are kind and helpful. The decor is crisp and clean. Just an all around gem. In short, get yourself here! read more

While wandering through Ridgewood one afternoon, I happened upon Buttah Bakery and decided to step inside to see what they had to offer. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere caught my attention, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. They took the time to explain their selection, which included an impressive array of baked goods. I decided to try a few of their cupcakes, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Each cupcake was perfectly moist, bursting with rich flavor, and decorated with such care and creativity--it was almost too pretty to eat!
