I love the cheesecakes and tiramisus here! Everything is very affordable and fresh, great if you are in the neighborhood! The ladies behind the counter are always very sweet, just keep in mind that this is a cash only place

I'm a bit disappointed as yesterday I was looking forward to treating myself to A beautiful Italian pastry upon entering I was not greeted with a smile only item left in the Showcase worth 3 ricotta cream lobster tails. they do not accept anything but cash. Upon opening the items at home I noticed that they were from yesterday but I sacrificed so much and decided to eat it anyway and the cannoli cream was delicious unfortunately the crust was soggy. I will give them another shot and look forward to eating something amazing as I've read in the other reviews, hopefully there will not be a strike 2

    Semolina bread!

I've been getting my bread from here for as far back as i can remember, 20 years probably, since i was a little girl. It is THE BEST! Such good quality, delicious, flavorful. It's jusr real great italian bread. Stop getting your crappy bread from stop and shop, you NEED the "old style baked semolina bread" to accompany your dinner and use for sandwhiches. You wont go back to shitty bread again.

It sld be Tiramisu but.... I don't think so its so disgusting.

Disgusting.. I wld not waste my money here at all.. I have ordered many different items from this bakery. Each and everytime there all old. Very gross my husband just got him self a éclair and got me tiramisu. The éclair was bad the cream was sour. The tiramisu was bitter and hard. Tasted so old and gross. I have bought other things from this bakery in the past 3 years and always each and everytime it was disgusting.

Another lovely Ridgewood Italian bakery. It is a small place, but clean, and the service was friendly. The cannoli and fruit tarts were top-notch. They have gelato sometimes as well.

Best bread you will find. I like to get the round ones and just eat with butter. But all the shapes are good.

Wonderful local bakery. I enjoy going in as much as I can, as evidenced by my waistline. Some of the best bread I've ever had.

They're my go-to for Italian bread and make a great cannoli; I wish they had the cannoli more often when I've gone but I usually get a couple when I see them.

A friend recommended it to me, and I've already ordered two birthday cakes from here. The tiramisu cake was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know you could customize a tiramisu cake since it's usually served the traditional way, but they made it exactly how I wanted. As someone who loves tiramisu, this really stood out. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake, and it was just as impressive. The buttercream was so good , light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Everyone loved it, and there wasn't a single slice left. The owner's son (I believe) was super helpful, he really takes the time to understand what you want and brings it to life perfectly. I've also tried their croissants, which are huge and delicious, and the hero bread is excellent too. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash.I'll definitely be ordering all my cakes from here moving forward!

This is a staple bakery in Elmhurst that specializes in Strawberry Shortcakes. This bakery has…read morebeen around to more than 40 years and I remember growing up always having this for our family birthday parties. It has actually been a while since I've had it and my friend made a special request specifically for strawberry shortcake for her 50th birthday. Du Bois for the first place that came to mind. Took a quick look online from pics from previous customers and was surprised to see the number of different designs they can do now. I picked this pink flower one that the owner made out of fondant and it was so pretty and exceeded my expectations. There was no additional charge at all. Back in the days....40 years ago, there was one style I remember getting and it was white cream with strawberries. Now there's so many you can pick from. The birthday girl was so happy with the design. I ordered a 20 person cake. There were 2 choices-round or sheet cake. Round is $60 which is what I opted for since I thought it looked prettier and the sheet cake is $50. The round cake actually came out very tall but gorgeous. Harder to cut too since it was taller. The owner was so nice. He custom made the top of the cake box to make sure the cake fit and doesn't get damaged. The fresh cream on the cake is so good. Not too sweet and very light. Perfect with the strawberries. The cake part was moist and yummy. I forgot how much I love this cake. All the nostalgic memories of eating it when I was younger came back. Honestly, I think it's even better than I remember. And the price was so reasonable for such a beautifully decorated cake.

Eaton Cafe is definitely a hidden gem in Queens! I almost don't want to share this amazing place…read morefor fear it will be crowded every time we go there now. Our dinner there tonight was perfect! We ordered chicken wings, french fries, and pork soup dumplings for our kids. For my husband and me, we enjoyed the pork combo, the crispy watercress salad and Batagor (fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wontons and fried potato with peanut sauce on the side in case our kids wanted any). Our most memorable and refreshing dish was the Crispy Watercress Salad. Who knew watercress could be fried!?! lol We will definitely be ordering again next time as well as recommending to others. This dish was refreshing and light. Loved every bite! The pork combo was a combination of roast pig, sausage slices, fried slices of fish cake, etc. with rice and soup on the side. Easily the ideal lunch for one person or to share with someone! The Batagor was very fun to eat because it reminded me of fondue but with peanut sauce. I loved dipping the fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wonton and fried potato in the yummy peanut sauce. This night was delicious and the perfect family dinner for us. With tax and 20% tip, total was about $145 and change. A little steep for family dinner but it was about right considering the raising cost of groceries. We considered it our New Year dinner. Eaton Cafe definitely gets two thumbs up from me and my Yummylicious Stamp of Approval! Happy New Year everyone!

The chicken egg noodles were slithery, dense, and had a plethora of elements; the fried wonton was crunchy while the ground chicken was fragrant and sweet.
