Just finished my first loaf of semolina bread from Palermo Bakery and it's now my weekly go-to.

We came by the day before Mother's Day, so they had pre decorated Mother's Day cakes. You can also place an order. Service is quick and friendly. We initially planned on getting a Strawberry Shortcake, as that seemed to be the cake to get. However, we opted for the Cheesecake, because we were able to add fresh strawberries (and whipped cream) on top! I'm not a fan of whipped cream, so I avoided that, but everyone seemed to enjoy. It had a good creamy texture and was not too sweet. The strawberries were indeed fresh. The pound cake was soft and airy. The vanilla flavor comes through. I will have to try the Marbled version next time! Note: Cash Only! A regular customer ordered the tiramisu cake; said it was the best cake ever, so will have to try that next time!

A friend recommended it to me, and I've already ordered two birthday cakes from here. The tiramisu cake was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know you could customize a tiramisu cake since it's usually served the traditional way, but they made it exactly how I wanted. As someone who loves tiramisu, this really stood out. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake, and it was just as impressive. The buttercream was so good , light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Everyone loved it, and there wasn't a single slice left. The owner's son (I believe) was super helpful, he really takes the time to understand what you want and brings it to life perfectly. I've also tried their croissants, which are huge and delicious, and the hero bread is excellent too. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash.I'll definitely be ordering all my cakes from here moving forward!

It's charming inside and quintessentially Queens - walking in, you get a sense that this was a family-started business. The pandesal was yummy, authentic, fluffy and hit the mark when I was having the craving. The worker was super nice, too and there are a few tables for you and a few friends to sit around and eat the goodies. There's a fridge full of cakes and other desserts, too. I think you could probably preorder a cake if you're an ube fan and get it for your birthday or other special event. I'm happy they're here and would love them see more things on the menu - maybe I missed it but would love to try a halo halo here. I would love to know when to get the buns the freshest as well/what their baking schedule is!

Would love any good suggestions! On a weekend early evening around 5pm and they seemed to have most items in stock. From other reviews seems like they're known for their ube cheese pandesal, ube cake, mango cake, pan de coco and pork asada bun. I picked up a torte Cebuana $3.25 and pan de coco $1.50. The former tasted similar to a pound cake in cupcake-like form, sprinkled on top with fine sugar. The latter was a sweet bun with shredded coconut that tasted sweetened with palm sugar. It had a lovely fragrant coconut flavor and was tasty though a tad too sweet for me. The store itself isn't big, a pretty casual set up with seating for maybe 12-15 at cafe tables. The back counter is where baked goodies are displayed, a fridge on the right contains chilled drinks and full-sized cakes which looked made to order. On the left side of the store are some Filipino grocery items on shelves. Staff was friendly and helped answer a couple questions I had about ingredients, (or asked other staff what they didn't know). If I was in the area I'd come back to try a few other items.

What really caught my eye was the ham, American cheese on a croissant bread that they carry. There was a hint of spice that got my attention. Didn't know it was spicy until I bit into it. Really tasty and loved how the cheese melted in my mouth with the ham. Going to get more of these! There are many chairs and tables in this location and bright lights so it's a good place to catch up for coffee and pastries! Bathrooms are available here. Very quiet ambience.

Second and Third time came in afternoon and most of the breads were sold out. Fourth visit came early in the morning and was able to get the Chestnut bread. Lots of chestnut chunks in the middle. They were all out of the Matcha Roll cake. Place seemed empty with not a lot people on line buying stuff but lots of people lounging on chairs and tables. Staff were not the friendliest peeps. One guy did not want to tend to the customer and just stood there looking at his counter parts. Tous Les Jours bakery looks inviting with open space with pastries and baked items in the center as you walk in the entrance.
