We initially planned on getting a Strawberry Shortcake, as that seemed to be the cake to get. However, we opted for the Cheesecake, because we were able to add fresh strawberries (and whipped cream) on top! I'm not a fan of whipped cream, so I avoided that, but everyone seemed to enjoy. It had a good creamy texture and was not too sweet. The strawberries were indeed fresh. The pound cake was soft and airy. The vanilla flavor comes through. I will have to try the Marbled version next time! Note: Cash Only! A regular customer ordered the tiramisu cake; said it was the best cake ever, so will have to try that next time!

I prefer the larger Fay Da bakery chain, which has a much larger overall selection of baked goods. However, I will admit that Rainbow excels at offering non-bakery items. You can get congee, rice noodle rolls, and even a bunch of dim sum items (dumplings, beef balls, siu mai, etc.). You can easily pickup a lunch or dinner from here.
