Love everything in this place from the breads to the food stuff everything tastes fresh and delicious! It's a pretty small space but it's jam packed with lots of things to look at. It's best if you drive here bc it's in a pretty residential quiet area. Their service is always nice & polite. Love their stuff! read more

The staff here are incredibly rude. Really quick to talk over you and have zero customer service experience it seems. Are we not patronizing your establishment to make purchases? Why is that such an annoyance? NEVER AGAIN. Which is such a shame since i literally just moved up the block. read more

This place caught me by surprise. I was just walking down the street in the Glendale area and I was hungry. This place is so inconspicuous. I noticed a couple of small tables and chairs for outdoor dining and it peaked my interest. I would not have noticed this place otherwise. When I first walked in for me, I was very impressed. This place has a nice bakery with fresh breads, cakes, cookies, donuts, plus more. Their bakery was set up so beautifully like from a food magazine. They also offer hot foods to take out and other grocery items but their bakery itself had my full attention. There was so much to choose from and I love my sweets. I ordered a couple of their fresh cream filled donuts. I went for the dark chocolate with vanilla filling. There were so many other yummy choices to select from but I was running late to an appointment. So I went with something that was easy to eat on the run. I would definitely stop here again when I come back to this area. read more

Polish bakery and specialty market. I stopped by just before 2 pm on a weekday and they were well stocked on pastries, breads, and lunch items. I had a slice of potato babka which was delicious! Slice was about $6 and very fulfilling. Friendly and quick service. read more

I love this place. Everytime I go there is something new to ask about. Pierogies are NOT like the ones in the store... nice balance of potatoes and cheese that you actually can see. Fresh huge pretzels Napoleons Cranberry walnut bread... get there early because the loaves go quickly Hunters stew: sauerkraut with a bunch of meat thrown in (ham, bacon, pork, kielbasa) Today's buy was: Carrot cake.. Seriously one of the best I have eaten.. The cake is moist, walnuts... just full of flavor But what makes this cake is the FROSTING The frosting is a texture of marshmallow fluff, no grit, very light. Its not like those heavy cream cheese frostings (not likes that's bad, but I'm not a big frosting fan) Halva; made from sunflower seeds with chunks of walnuts.. I will be adding this to my oatmeal!!! read more

I would first say I love all the food and breads here . But I had initially thought it was just one employee who was rude , but yesterday I encountered another lady who was rude for no reason . It's ok if you're not friendly , but to consistently make customers feel like you're a bother to be in the store making purchase , spending money is ridiculous. And I witnessed all four ladies behind the counter yelling and scolding another customer . I've come here over two years and I'm realizing now they're only nice to people who come in speaking polish . Also I buy the same things when I visit and all of a sudden it went from $16 to $26 , I selected not to get a receipt and I wish I would have . read more

My Mom and I stopped here today on the recommendation of a friend and we are so happy we did. We purchased the cherry babka, 2 chocolate chip scones, and a garlic loaf. Everything was amazing! We also purchased kelbaisa for Easter. Everything here looks heavenly. And the service was great. The ladies went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommend anyone in the area to check this gem out. read more

I usually buy bread here, but decided to try the apricot & blueberry danish. & a jelly donut. They were all awful. tasteless, very dry,& a tiny splat of a jam. Probably sat overnite, but they dont want to throw it out,so they sell it. Stay away from the danishes, unless you want to eat all bread. The jelly donut was hardly filled with any jelly. They display it to look really nice, but dont be fooled. $2.50 a danish, $1.50 a donut what a waste of money.thank goodness I didnt buy many.Very dissatisfied. I will still buy the bread, but nothing else. I dont mind paying for quality, but this is inexcusable. I found another place that sells tasty, fresh, filled cheese danishes & jelly donuts, filled with lots of jelly.Same price. Northside, stick to making breads not danishes.Shame on you. read more

Customer service was horrible and the way they talk to people is absurd and I watched another lady rush a customer by saying things like anything else in a rude tone and when I told them I was picking up an order they told me to wait on line which I did and then they forced me to go in line again and then had me waiting a long time mind you they had 6 people behind the counter and 3 in the store and they still took forever don't recommend coming here unless you want to be treated like garbage and ripped off do not shop here read more

What an unbelievable gem. we stayed at an air bnb nearby and were thrilled to be able to enjoy their breads (the cranberry, Raisen, walnut!) with Plum jelly is amazing!! and the deli foods. we are not polish so we're not familiar with many of the names but just experiment! try something new! The bread is epic! The varieties are all delicious, tried 3 already! The blintzes are also good. The pate' in croute is delicious! The service and the staff are quick and attentive. This is a hidden gem on a residential side street in Glendale. I found this place by accident when I was looking for parking. Best pastry's and food ! Very nice staff too I always come here can't help but buy everything.

Had an extremely bad experience and treatment here. Watched an older lady also be rudely treated as well and although she was not Polish there were derogatory statements made in Polish about her. We drove from Brooklyn to the bakery with such high expectations due to the reviews on line which are obviously fake. I never write reviews like this but save yourself from the unwelcoming treatment. Don't bother making a trip here - avoid at all costs. SJ read more

The bread is okay, but the service is horrible. Some staff do not wear masks and others wear it improperly under their nose. Unless you speak polish don't waste your time coming here. You can get better bread and service at New Warsaw Bakery off Metropolitan Ave. read more

Love all their breads. Always fresh. Service is fantastic, they always go out of their way. Love this place.

Located in somewhat hidden part of Glendale, it's well worth the effort to find them. A large selection of freshly made breads, pastries, and hot foods as well as a nice selection of packaged goods to satisfy any taste. Prices are good for the quality you get , breads especially are a bargain. Staff are helpful and friendly and its a good experience all around. read more

First time I went there was great, but clowns working here are destroying this business. Best thing here is their almond croissants. Bread is so so mediocre at best. Better off with something sliced than a loaf. Only other pastries I've tried are the doughnuts. Bland and boring. Consider yourself lucky if you buy something and the next day it is still fresh and edible. Most of the items are stale by the evening of purchase. Sorry guys. read more

This is a hidden gem. I showed up as they opened and they had a line waiting outside. Once inside it's clear why people waited. Everything is fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed my trip here today I came with my 3 kids and the staff was very sweet with them and also gave them some munchkins to taste. The variety of the breads is remarkable and the pastries are out of this world. It was very hard to choose but I can easily solving that and frequenting the place more often. By the way when you walk in you feel that you are transported to another time and place when artificial colors and flavors were non existent and everything was still made in your grandmas kitchen. My kids asked mom when are we going back read more

Worst service! Staff ignores you at best, is downright rude at worst, and (this is not political, just a fact) some speak such poor English that communication is difficult. Prices are basically retail, don't expect a bargain by buying directly from the bakery. The chocolate croissants have a measly smidge of low quality chocolate. Tried many of their pastries, most are dry, flavorless or else flavors are off. Breads are somewhat better but VERY limited selection. Once asked for white bread (was thinking crusty baguette or like Semolina) they looked at me like I had two heads. The hot food is okay, nothing special, also not inexpensive. There's not much else in the neighborhood, and some items like the seeded breadsticks and pretzel rolls are good, so I keep going back, but every time the experience is so disrespectful that I wonder why I do read more
