    Iced Ube Matcha Latte
    Ainsley E.

LOVE this spot! Very cool Filipino menu -- never had breakfast like this before. Ask me if I want lumpia for breakfa-- YES. YES I DO. The garlic rice in the rice bowl is delicious and very flavorful, makes an excellent base for the egg and meat of your choice. Fresh veggies add a nice cut to the richness of the rest. There's an awesome hot sauce(?) with a vinegary kick you can add to it, too (not sure of the name)! The Ube pancakes were very good -- subtle. I enjoyed my ube and matcha latte, too. Would return here in a heartbeat. Excellent food and awesome atmosphere with the pride flag flying and the boy band and kpop music bumping in the background.

I ordered breakfast via uber eats just waffles and fruit. I decide to stop in today to check this place out in person I purchased an iced brown sugar latte . The cafe is well lit and cute The menu features lumpia which I will come back for when in the mood. The service was kind and quick. I live freshly made drinks I like the lamps

Keepin it real out here in Bushwick Bushwick is def blessed to get a spot like this, simple but def deserved to be called a local gem. Authentic with a slight twist, serving some pretty hip filipino dishes, even the smoothies are pretty good. It's good for a meal or just a rest stop to get some work done.

Tried the new location in Middle Village. We ordered a BLT, Nutella waffles, and iced caramel macchiatos. The food was underwhelming, but the coffee was great. My bacon was super chewy and my bread tasted stale. I asked for whole wheat bread because I saw it on the menu and they said they don't have it. The waffles were your standard waffles. What I wasn't a fan of was we each received our food at different times. Even the waffles came out about 10 mins apart. The server was really nice and talked to us for most of our meal. I will definitely stop by again for some coffee, but will probably skip the food.

My boyfriend & I were so happy to come across this little and cute Filipino cafe in Brooklyn fresh off our flight from LA. Food was soo delicious & authentic. Staff was so welcoming and friendly, being originally from Hawai'i, we felt at home. Will definitely make a stop here every time we come back to NYC.

Cute family run Filipino cafe. Nice prices for the area. Cozy homemade vibes. Their $2 coffee hits better than General Irving's coffee that is much more expensive! Will be back for more cheap and delicious coffee and to try their foods, especially their desserts. Also, it's near both the Wilson and Halsey L train stations.

Lots of seating, good ube coffee! The matcha one is a bit too sweet, just don't stir it as much! The girls were so sweet!

My omelette was not cooked inside , not a big deal to me because I can put it in the oven. But why on earth would you guys send a burnt waffle . Not only was it burnt, you guys ripped the burnt pieces off , made a hole and thought it was a good idea to send it on uber eats. Why not just make another waffle .. like I've seen anything like this ... I had to literally download this app again just for you guys ..

OBSESSED with this breakfast spot! The service was delightful. The workers are so caring and kind. The food was DELICIOUS. I am now obsessed with their whipped coffee. It was so good. Try their complementary hot sauce on the tables! They also have a public restroom.

I don't know if that's true but I really like the food put out by the owner & her hubbylish. The Pork Sisig is good but different from what I'm used to. The flavor is there, just not the odds & ends if you know what I mean. I think it's just pork belly nothing from the head which is why I love it. But I'm a weirdo who loves innards & other bits & pieces in a world of non adventurous eaters. So it won't matter to anyone else. The flavor is delicious! But my favorite dish they make is the Beef or Chicken Pastel. It is so delicious! Tender pieces of chicken in a creamy sauce that also permeates the vegetables. Absolutely divine! Get it if they have it that day. You won't regret it. Have anything with the garlic rice. As a matter of fact, get garlic rice with the garlic rice. It's that good. And get the Pork with Eggplant. Ok get everything! I'm done! It's all delicious. 3-8-2026

TBH you'll need one because everyone wants to come here on a Thursday night in east village. I didn't know it was that popular. I remember the old jeepney days and how I used to do a lot of kamayan and dinners and drinks there so this is definitely the spot for Filipino food in the neighborhood since they changed the store and made it to be Naks. They didn't change the layout and it looks nostalgic to me as the old Jeepney but I'm glad their menu seemed to have changed! Seems like for dinner they do a lot of different classics and we ordered the classic Filipino foods. I got their special cocktail Hoy Bayabas which is a fusion of mezcal and tequila and it tastes like their own take on spicy marg! Super yummy. We proceeded to order the KFC to start (Kanto fried chicken) and this has cheese wiz on the side which made my friends laugh. (Although on the menu it says garlic aioli) The chicken was fattening moist and delicious! We ordered the pancit basil patong and the Kare kare (beef cheeks with eggplant) for the main dishes and they were both super banging. The rice cuts out the peanut and made it easy to eat eggplant even though I'm not a fan of eggplant! The beef in the kare kare was super tender and yummy. The pancit basil patong was so addicting as it had the pork chicharron with the ground beef and I couldn't stop eating this one. Definitely great for carb lovers! We ordered the pandan Jell-O shots at the end for dessert and it didn't disappoint! They really wanted to kick us out after we're done because the lines were quite long outside. Even if it seems like you don't need to make a reservation I highly recommend one. I would love to come back again for their brunch menu to see what's different!

Taro Leaves Sautéed in Coconut Milk 3/5 - not my cup of tea, it's a little bit on the heavy side, has a strong coconut milk flavor. Wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Palabok Overload 3/5 - was excited for this since I really enjoy Jollibee's Palabok. However, this dish lacked flavor. The sauce was lacking in flavor, it was not as shrimpy or seasoned as Jollibees. Anyone with kids know with a young child, things can get dicey. You won't know at any moments time when you need to stop, drop, and roll. My girl was pretty calm and great the whole time, didn't expect anything less, but as usual, Kora was CROWDED. I felt hopeless about getting a table and I cannot compete with the adults with no kids, but I decided to take a chance. I got 2 pastries and a drink to sit and enjoy. After I paid, I look behind me, and of course, no seats. But then the employee who was also the door person/greeter, saw my distress, heard my concern, and then helped me get a table outside. I expressed my concern that I wouldn't be able to hear my name for my drink, and I cannot leave my daughter outside. She insisted that she would service my table. The employee got me my drink, napkins, utensils, and told me if I needed anything else, just ask her. It's the service like this that makes me feel not limited whenever I want to go to Kora, and I am very inclined to go back when I am solo parenting.

The ube broiche looks way may interesting than it proved to be, the coffee cruller was very good, the jasmine blackberry donut was excellent...the parmesan croissant had an odd funkiness to the cheese against a too sweetened butter filling? If you are going savory, go savory. It was a little too in between. The matcha pandan lattes just weren't quite our jam, and we are both pandan and matcha lovers. Prepare to wait as there's a lot of chit chat happening between customers and the staff. We waited a full 4-5 minutes to even see the pastries because the dude behind the counter gave a multi-minute monologue on the preparation of absolutely every ingredient in each of the breakfast sandwiches, which the people didn't even order. It was a little annoying. Could he have brought them further down the queue so the people behind could even see what was on display? Yes, yes he could have. Overall, I don't think I would go out of our way again to visit Kora. It was good, but it wasn't transcendent.
