Iced Ube Matcha Latte
Ainsley E.

LOVE this spot! Very cool Filipino menu -- never had breakfast like this before. Ask me if I want lumpia for breakfa-- YES. YES I DO. The garlic rice in the rice bowl is delicious and very flavorful, makes an excellent base for the egg and meat of your choice. Fresh veggies add a nice cut to the richness of the rest. There's an awesome hot sauce(?) with a vinegary kick you can add to it, too (not sure of the name)! The Ube pancakes were very good -- subtle. I enjoyed my ube and matcha latte, too. Would return here in a heartbeat. Excellent food and awesome atmosphere with the pride flag flying and the boy band and kpop music bumping in the background.

I ordered breakfast via uber eats just waffles and fruit. I decide to stop in today to check this place out in person I purchased an iced brown sugar latte . The cafe is well lit and cute The menu features lumpia which I will come back for when in the mood. The service was kind and quick. I live freshly made drinks I like the lamps

Keepin it real out here in Bushwick Bushwick is def blessed to get a spot like this, simple but def deserved to be called a local gem. Authentic with a slight twist, serving some pretty hip filipino dishes, even the smoothies are pretty good. It's good for a meal or just a rest stop to get some work done.

Tried the new location in Middle Village. We ordered a BLT, Nutella waffles, and iced caramel macchiatos. The food was underwhelming, but the coffee was great. My bacon was super chewy and my bread tasted stale. I asked for whole wheat bread because I saw it on the menu and they said they don't have it. The waffles were your standard waffles. What I wasn't a fan of was we each received our food at different times. Even the waffles came out about 10 mins apart. The server was really nice and talked to us for most of our meal. I will definitely stop by again for some coffee, but will probably skip the food.

My boyfriend & I were so happy to come across this little and cute Filipino cafe in Brooklyn fresh off our flight from LA. Food was soo delicious & authentic. Staff was so welcoming and friendly, being originally from Hawai'i, we felt at home. Will definitely make a stop here every time we come back to NYC.

My omelette was not cooked inside , not a big deal to me because I can put it in the oven. But why on earth would you guys send a burnt waffle . Not only was it burnt, you guys ripped the burnt pieces off , made a hole and thought it was a good idea to send it on uber eats. Why not just make another waffle .. like I've seen anything like this ... I had to literally download this app again just for you guys ..

Cute family run Filipino cafe. Nice prices for the area. Cozy homemade vibes. Their $2 coffee hits better than General Irving's coffee that is much more expensive! Will be back for more cheap and delicious coffee and to try their foods, especially their desserts. Also, it's near both the Wilson and Halsey L train stations.

Lots of seating, good ube coffee! The matcha one is a bit too sweet, just don't stir it as much! The girls were so sweet!

OBSESSED with this breakfast spot! The service was delightful. The workers are so caring and kind. The food was DELICIOUS. I am now obsessed with their whipped coffee. It was so good. Try their complementary hot sauce on the tables! They also have a public restroom.

They were packed full of flavor and one if the best pork skewers I've ever had. We also had the pork sisig, which had a great mix of tender and crispy pork pieces. It was paired great with the garlic rice. And for dessert, we had the ube sipao, which came out warm and topped with coconut and filled with ube -- the perfect way to end a meal. They have a lot of small tables. Service was pretty quick and staff members were nice and answered all questions. It's a place I would definitely return to in the future.

It's not the biggest restaurant though, so we probably got lucky (you should definitely make a res). -- Pork BBQ skewers were so delicious! The BBQ sauce was just the right amount of sweet, and the pork was cooked so well (juicy and tender). Portion size did feel a bit small for the price point, though -- Pork sisig was good. I liked how the onions / sour flavouring complemented the savoury flavour of the pork. It was a bit too salty to eat by itself (and we didn't quite finish), but fortunately we had some rice on the side to mellow it out somewhat. -- Finally we had the bangus binalot, which was good too. Milkfish is not the most common to find in the US and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great dish here. It did not feel too oily/heavy from frying, and the fish paired excellently with the fragrant garlic rice. Overall, I had a very nice meal, and the price point was not unreasonable. I think overall the food felt a little salty, but otherwise everything was quite delicious. I think they've moved (nearby) since my visit and I'd love to re-visit and try some of their other dishes!

I don't know if that's true but I really like the food put out by the owner & her hubbylish. The Pork Sisig is good but different from what I'm used to. The flavor is there, just not the odds & ends if you know what I mean. I think it's just pork belly nothing from the head which is why I love it. But I'm a weirdo who loves innards & other bits & pieces in a world of non adventurous eaters. So it won't matter to anyone else. The flavor is delicious! But my favorite dish they make is the Beef or Chicken Pastel. It is so delicious! Tender pieces of chicken in a creamy sauce that also permeates the vegetables. Absolutely divine! Get it if they have it that day. You won't regret it. Have anything with the garlic rice. As a matter of fact, get garlic rice with the garlic rice. It's that good. And get the Pork with Eggplant. Ok get everything! I'm done! It's all delicious. 3-8-2026

She expected us to know what we wanted within seconds of walking in the store. Can I get a chance to look at what's available at the Turo-turo? She seemed annoyed at having to wait for us to make up our mind despite us walking in 2 seconds ago. This leads me to believe these reviews are paid for cause I really didn't get a friendly atmosphere like one person noted. When my partner asked, is there rice? She yelled over the glass saying YES, EVERY FILIPINO ALWAYS HAS RICE. No sh*t I know that I'm Filipino. My partner is Spanish, in their version of Turo-Turo the rice is always on display in the steam table because they don't use RICE COOKERS just fyi. Was going to order more (soup/ desert) but she completely turned me off. Idk how you work in the hospitality industry with that attitude, might be going thru menopause but you need to chill tf out. Yelling at us over the glass is crazy work. Were both industry workers as well, so we always tip no matter what when it came to pay she was shocked that there's a few bucks extra. Figured she could use the few extra dollars so she can calm down.
