It was such a cozy spot that really hit the spot. I got a green tea boba with passionfruit flavor and an egg salad croffle. Everything felt like a super filling breakfast, and the whole thing came out to just $11. The drink was a nice tall iced one too. Service was pretty quick--I had my order in hand in like five minutes--and the staff was genuinely nice. I'd definitely recommend coming in the morning while it's still quiet. The place is brand new, so it's not getting much traffic yet, but once word spreads, it's probably gonna get packed.

As a lover of bubble tea, when I was in the area I stopped by Yaaas Tea. I noticed instantly that they sell food which is different than your typical bubble tea store. I wasn't there for food, so I just got a "Passion Dragonfruit refresher" with boba & lychee jelly. It was good. I love passion fruit & dragonfruit so getting it together was tasty!

Who says I'm a Yelp Elite? I am! Today I went here all by myself on a not so cold Thursday late morning to go to my fourteenth Yelp Elite Event feeling good that I got the regular milk tea, egg tart and banana pudding that it was amazing and delicious. The service there was very friendly and pleasant and thanks to the owner/manager named Amy. I couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely come back again next time! :)

Leah inspired me to write this review. She went above and beyond from the second we walked up to the counter. She was professional and friendly. The drinks she made were delicious. She was taking orders, making orders, and cleaning the whole store. She was so good at her job and giving recommendations for drinks, desserts, and ingredients, you would think she was the CEO of Yaaas Tea!

I was so happy to see Yaaas Tea open up in Queens! I've been to their other locations, and had checked them out during their grand opening. They are conveniently located by the train station and bus stop. I got here a little after 7 AM, which is when they open. I love that they're open so early, since most bubble tea spots don't open until 10-11 AM. This is great for a quick grab before work. Street parking was easy around the corner at this time. They have a couple tables and counter seating if you're looking to sit and chill a while, or even stay indoors while waiting for your bus! The service is very friendly and informative. I knew what I wanted to order, so I ordered at one of the two kiosks they have at the counter. I got myself an Iced Matcha Oat Milk Tea and a Chicken Salad Croffle. I barely waited 5 minutes. There were people who ordered pickup and their drinks were ready for them when they came in. The Iced Matcha Oat Milk Tea (light ice, 25% sugar) could use a bit more matcha, since oat milk has a strong flavor. There are other customizations you can make (such as boba or cream), so I wish there was an option to add more matcha. It wasn't sweet at all, which I enjoyed. I'll probably stick to the Iced Dark Chocolate Matcha Oat Milk Tea, which I got last time. The Chicken Salad Croffle was packed with a good amount of chicken salad. The salad is peppery, not overly sauced, and has a nice crunch of celery, all of which is complimented by the crisp and slightly sweet croffle. I ate mine over an hour later and it held its shape perfectly. Definitely a great spot to hit for your caffeine fix and breakfast (available all day), especially if it's along the way of your commute.

I'm thrilled that Kew Gardens/ Forest Hill now has a boba tea shop! This is a brand I've followed on social media. I know they opened a location in Long Island. So, when my friend told me they opened one nearby, I couldn't wait to try their drinks. This is my second visit, and I haven't been disappointed. The service was great. They didn't take long to make my drink. I went early in the day when it wasn't busy. The place was quiet. I ordered an Earl Grey milk tea with coconut milk. I was surprised to see coconut milk as an option since it's rare at boba shops. I prefer it over whole milk, so I was happy to have the choice. The drink wasn't too sweet. It was just right. I'll definitely be coming back for more whenever I'm in the area. I also love the interior. It's cozy, and I especially love the blue and white color.

After a long day of weekend errands, we end it with boba. This isn't far from our home, so we made a stop here. There hasn't been any good boba by us so we were skeptical. To our surprise, it's actually very good and the people there were very nice. Amy was helpful and pleasant to speak to. She even gave us some cookies, and they were crunchy sweet heaven. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea with YAAAS creme. It was so fragrant and I couldn't stop myself from drinking it before taking a picture for yelp. 5/5 for taste, quality, service and most importantly proximity to my home (probably a bad thing to be honest)

Wow...my 800th review. Yay! Welcome Yaaas Tea to Forest Hills and Queens! They are known for their fresh boba made on every hour. The team has expanded from LI into Queens! Congratulations to the owner of the Queens location, Michelle Chan along with her 3 High School friends, and CEO, Kelly Zhou. The employees are welcoming and willing to help you if you are unsure of what to order. They have croffle sandwiches (crossiant in the shape of waffles with various fillings including tuna which is a new option), bobo drinks, refreshers, milk tea, and coffee. I got the iced caramel macchiato coffee with coconut and jasmine milk tea. Delicious as usual! Go check them out! Forgot to take a picture of of the iced caramel.

So good, I had to go back. This time for my son. He approved of the croffle and the caramel Milk Tea he requested. We reside closer to another location; yet I was at a UFT Summit. The packaging was perfect for travel with no spillage (cup holder at bottom). An appreciation for the function, quality and taste of products. I only wish there was more seating. I was lucky to have a sit down as my order was serviced.

First Yaas tea in Queens finally! I was super excited as I heard great things about the Long Island branches. I was so lucky to have met the owners/partners, and they're all so friendly. Yaaas Tea has the freshest boba. They make boba by the hour and it's so good. It's one of best that I've tried. They have fruit drinks along with other milk tea flavors. They also serve croffle sandwiches and thin and crispy cookies. I haven't tried the croffle sandwiches, but I'm a fan of their thin and crispy cookies. I personally like butter pecan cookies and my kids like the red velvet ones. They also have chocolate chip cookies which is also good. I like that it's not too sweet and it comes in a cute container so the cookies won't crumble. The crispiness goes so well with bubble tea. The place is so cute, there's a kiosk and also cashier. The back is open so you can see them making boba and drinks. It's very nice and bright. There's also plenty of tables and a bar counter.

Cute new bubble tea spot in the neighborhood. I stopped by on Sunday around 11am and there was no wait at all. The staff were really helpful and constantly checking in on us to make sure we had no issues ordering through their touch screen kiosks. It was their grand opening promotion, so all the cold drinks were 50%. What a steal! I got two drinks for around $7 after tips. They also gave us complimentary multi-wire charger-- so nice of them. I'm glad I made the trek to try this. For me, since I am sensitive to dairy, I got a dairy-free Iced Strawberry Matcha Oat Milk Tea. It was tasty and refreshing. It might not be my first choice for next time since you can taste the oat milk. But this definitely set a high bar for my next drink. We also got the Iced White Mocha Brulee with Boba. Boba was delicious--perfectly cooked and nicely sweetened. The drink was refreshing and tasty. It is a tad bit sweet if you finish the whole thing in one sitting.

    Iced Caramel Macchiato with Boba
    Carina H.

I Iced Caramel Macchiato with Boba, which tasted like a Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino with boba. It was a tad bit too sweet for me, so I should have either adjusted the sweetness or picked another flavor. I really like the boba here, and I think they have the best flavor selection and tapioca in the area. I also had a sip of my friend's earl gray boba, which was good. She said the tea flavor/tea strength tasted Taiwanese, and she herself is from Taiwan. The service is friendly, and on a weekend, my friend and I got our order after about a 5 minute wait.

I really enjoyed lunch at this place! They've recently rebranded to Austin Street Cafe/Bar & Grill…read more- and they have a sort of diner-esque vibe with a full-service bar ($7 happy hour cocktails!!!) They started us off with a croissant on the house, which was pretty good. Nice attention to detail as it was served with a heart-shaped side of butter. Also part of their happy hour menu are a couple select bar bites. I went for the chicken quesadillas, and it was a hearty portion at their price point. And it had a great flavor - chicken was nice and juicy. Natalie was our server, and was very attentive and friendly throughout our time here. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, Natalie and the manager brought us some cookies on the house to take home. Nothing but praise to be sung about this spot - I hear they're looking into possibly incorporating live music next. Will definitely be back - two thumbs up!

I heard him making jokes with customers and asking people for feedback. Now to the rest of it: service is weird and slow. When we were seated, we had to wait a little bit until receiving menus. Water wasn't automatically given to us also, so you have to ask. A woman took down our order, but later asked if we got waffles, even though I said pancakes - overall took 25 minutes to get our order of a salad and pancakes. Pancake platter came with two pancakes, two eggs, and a couple berries on the side. There's also an option to add sausage or bacon but no price there, which adds to the confusion. When we pointed it out, they removed the charge from our bill. There were maybe 3 people who stood behind the coffee bar which is kind of around a corner, making it hard to get service if you're not in their field of vision. Kind of strange there isn't a clear welcoming desk or something like that. Also, I think the menu uses AI as photos - there's a picture of a burger with fries and chips, but I don't think they serve chips. There's also a picture of cake with garlic next to it, which could be an artistic choice. We didn't get any drinks, but there was a table next to us who abandoned their full cups of Nutella lattes which was interesting.

This may be more of a "DVD extra" but when I originally looked up the QB many of the top-ranked items were breakfasts and some were p-zza (reverse SEO). Based only on lower-left menu placement I would say don't go that route and that specials are a good bet. Again this is only based on 1.5 bites but the eggplant parm special had great sauce. I'm undecided on the watermelon granita which wasn't all that watermelony but spicy dessert was different. The Food The cooking…read morehere is the real thing -- not the flattened, one-note version of Indian food that so many places settle for, where everything arrives tasting vaguely of the same sauce. At Tikka n' Talk, the spicing has genuine architecture. Each dish has its own personality, its own balance, its own arc from first bite to last. You taste individual spices rather than a generic wall of heat, and there's a depth underneath that only comes from someone who actually knows what they're doing. The tikka is outstanding and lives up to the name -- properly charred at the edges, smoky from real high-heat cooking, and still tender inside. That combination is harder to pull off than it looks, and getting it right every time takes skill. The curries have body and complexity. Sauces that have clearly been built rather than assembled, with layers that reveal themselves as you eat. Nothing is greasy, nothing is heavy in the bad way, and nothing tastes like it came out of a can. The bread deserves its own mention. Fresh, blistered, warm -- the kind you keep tearing off pieces of long after you're full. The Room and the Service The name isn't accidental. This is a place designed for lingering, and the atmosphere delivers on it. Warm, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming without being fussy. It's the kind of room where conversation flows easily, where you settle in without noticing an hour has passed. The staff are a huge part of that. Warm, attentive without hovering, and clearly happy you came. They know the menu cold and will steer you well if you ask -- including on spice levels, which they'll actually calibrate to what you want rather than defaulting to whatever's easiest. That kind of care shows up everywhere in the experience. Food comes out hot, timed well, and exactly as ordered. Basic things, but plenty of places fail at them. The Bottom Line Tikka n' Talk is the rare restaurant that's excellent on every axis at once -- the cooking is skilled, the room is inviting, and the people running it obviously care. It's become a regular for us, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who asks where to eat. If you haven't been, go. Order more than you think you need. Stay a while -- the name is an instruction, and it's good advice. Highest possible recommendation.
