Ok, my ube was so good, but a tragedy happened... I left most of the cheesecake in the back of my car and completely forgot about it for several days. I am SO ASHAMED of this. I came back and confessed everything to the staff behind the counter. I also had to come back with a few fellow Elites and show them how wonderful this spot was. Everyone was so nice about my mishap. I ended up getting a coconut cheesecake this time around, and I am so sorry, but I think it was better than the ube. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good, and the mousse on top was heavenly. The crème brûlée was just ok, but you don't need it with this cheesecake. Also, with all the bears decorating the spot and bringing all the fun... how can you not love this place?

Japanese- style cotton cheese cake. Have tried plain and chocolate lava flavors. Cakes are very light and fluffy, less sugar than I personally prefer but perfect for those looking to have a great dessert and not be knocked down by sugar. Street parking is difficult but if you can snag it, definitely drop into Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings too, and complete dinner!!!!

If you're in the mood for cheesecake but specifically Japanese Cotton Cheese Cake this is the place to get it. Mr Bear is located in Flushing. I got an order of the signature original cheesecake though there are other varieties of flavors. And the tart which reminds me of flan but just as delicious. I recommend stopping here if you're close by.

My friend got me Mr. Bear cheesecakes for my birthday. WOW LUCKY ME. The packaging is adorable .. very Hermes luxury vibe. The two boxes were perfectly fit in a bag with handles. They also came with prepackaged serving utensils. Just perfect. The cheesecakes themselves were to die for. I'm still thinking about the Coconut one. It has a lava inner so it's very moist and fluffy. It's not too much coconut flavor either..just right. The texture for the classic cheesecake was also so good. Highly recommend!!

The first time I came here, it was opening day, and the wait for a cheesecake was over 3 hours. The line has gotten considerably shorter since then, but the cheesecakes are just as delicious. I've tried a few flavors thus far, and they are all amazing. I love how fluffy and airy they are, moreover, they are extremely addictive. The store itself is super adorable with teddy bears. The lines are super fast and efficient. Highly recommend!

The pork floss mini cakes here are pretty good! The cake itself is light, airy, and not too sweet with the right balance of flavors. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the taste makes it worth a try.

Even though Mr Bear is a fluffy cheesecake bakery, my favorite menu item is their creme brûlées. They aren't overly sweet and are buy one get one half off. If you wanted to try their cheesecakes I would recommend their coconut lava flavor, but put it in the fridge for a few hours. To me, it tastes better when it's cold. I would pass on the other flavors as they aren't anything special. Service was quick and if you are a student you can get 10% all their menu items.

Absolutely one of the best cotton cheesecakes i have had. The cheesecake was still warm when I got home after am hour. We got the Uber flavor and I loved it. The Uber flavor was very prominent. I do like the fact that when I eat their cheesecake, it does not leave like a weird sensation on my teeth like most cotton/Japanese cheesecakes from other stores. Will definitely come back to try other flavors.

Cute Japanese type cheesecake shop, though they call it cotton cheesecake. They have different flavors and free samples at the counter. I got the original one. The packaging is very cute and they include a knife and spoon. The cake is very light and fluffy. There isn't a strong cheese flavor though and it is quite moist. Refrigeration doesn't seem to change the texture. Compared with Keki's cheesecake, this one is more wet. Not sure which one I like better.

Been here twice now, first time I got the chocolate cake and it was so good. Fluffy and soft. I ate it around the bear picture on the cake haha. They give out samples which is nice because it was my first time that's time. I came back second time because it was delicious first time. Reminds me of la cheesecake in college point. Second time I got the ube cake. It didn't have the bear print on it:( tasted like real ube/sweet potato not artificial kind. I still like the chocolate one better. I want to try the strawberry one but they are always out of it Will try original one next time. I highly recommend for first timers! Love their packaging too. It's like Hermes of fluffy cheesecake

First time here! The mini cheesecake and ice cream was outstanding! Great choices too! Thank you for a great experience and great service! The ambiance was full of cute bears :) Must try! I recommend!

I always walked by this place and got the free samples outside the shop when in Flushing, but I never really got anything. I recently got this lava cheesecake. I can say that it was really good, nice, and fluffy. I love the lava on top, also chocolate, yum. But is it worth the price for a 6-inch cheesecake? not really. But for a special occasion, maybe.

A cute Japanese cheesecake place with decadent souflee pancakes. Lots of options to choose from. Inside is relatively small, with one table a couple chairs, exterior has plush teddy bears hung up. The original cotton cheesecake was delicious! So soft, not too sweet yet still satisfying. Roughly $20 a cheesecake. Pricey but worth it.

Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.

We got the ginger milk pudding. Do think it's a bit pricey ($10) since it's an easy dessert to make but I guess it's all the theatrics. The dessert is very smooth, barely a solid, and its ginger taste is very strong- which I like. Strong ginger but pairs well with the milk and good amount of sugar. It is a bit spicy but I like it this way. They do have a lot of other desserts as well as savory items on the menu. Flavor profiles were hitting in all directions I didn't know which one to pick as my favorite! Durian mango coconut pudding - Durian wasn't overpowering at all and the mango shined in this dessert. The mango was nice and sweet, yet tart, soft and not at all unripe. The durian bits were creamy and custard-y, while the coconut pudding served as the perfect base for the dessert. Light and smooth Taro with mochi dessert- This was a taro sweet soup and had the consistency as black sesame soup. The taro was potent and the aroma was very prominent. The mochi was nice and soft, yet chewy. I was not expecting to like this one as much as I did. Ginger pudding - Utterly delicious. The ginger flavor and taste was insanely strong and the pudding was jiggly soft. Not too sweet and almost tasted spicy in a sense from the ginger. Super solid pudding. I'd come back just to get this again honestly.

Since today is our first visit here but not our friends, we patiently waited for our turn to get a table. Corner table is not bad. We picked one of their best selling items- banana split, 2 scoops of ice cream. Comes with free whipped cream , choice of syrup, rainbow sprinkles a cherry. Extra charge for any added item like any toppings. Price is reasonable for the serving size, it can be shared. The server is ready to give extra cutlery. A glass of water should be asked, not automatically given. There is nothing extraordinary for the taste of the ice cream except the fact that all flavors are home made. The 1930's decors, classic kitchen gadgets, existing old style but refurbished furniture's , is selling popular candies in early 30's and original atm machines version still working are things that make this place extraordinary , an additional things to look forward to and keeping customers coming back. Definitely coming back to try their other popular and hot items. By the way when we are about to leave, there was a long line waiting for seats.
