Counter/ Tiramisu Display

This spot is definitely a hidden gem, the Tiramisu I fell in love with was the Lychee which I didn't see on display. I ordered the Salted Coconut Latte which was delicious and Taro Tiramisu which was ehh didn't taste much Taro. Service was great as always and there's plenty of seats for you to enjoy.

I love this small business. Jinsee Bakery is located near the 7 train and other busses on Roosevelt Ave. The staff is always friendly when I come in the morning. They only sell tiramisu cakes in their shop and sometimes sell outdoors in the later afternoon. I've only tried two of their cakes: durian and Oreo. My favorite is the durian flavored tiramisu which apparently is on the higher end price compared to the other cakes. The flavor is nice and rich with a strong durian smell and tastes exactly like durian. The texture is soft and moist as well. Each cake is different price so ask the team before purchasing. It also seems they are the best price for these type of tiramisu cakes in the area. They sometimes don't have certain flavors on certain days like the pistachio which looks really delicious. The Oreo was good with a cute cookie monster like design. The space is clean and service is a quick stop and go before heading to your next destination. They accept cash, card and Apple pay. There's more businesses inside the shop.

Taro tiramisu was light and not overly sweet. They had a lot of other flavors, I wish I lived closer so that I could try them all.

Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.

Since we were in Forest Hills, Queens, and I had never been here, we chose to go to Eddie's. This place is really good, with an extensive menu of desserts ranging from soda floats to banana splits and many other little treats. A sweet lover's paradise. Personally, when it comes to ice cream or sweets, I tend to keep it simple. Give me a good vanilla ice cream scoop and I am a happy person. Give me a great ice cream scoop and I am even happier. Let's just say I left this place very satisfied. I had my basic yet delicious ice cream scoops. Yum. I am currently following a strict diet regimen for one more month, but after that, I will definitely come back for some of their tasty ice cream. My son, wife, and friends were also enjoying their sweets. This is a great place. They have seats, but it gets really busy and there is usually a bit of a wait. Yet that is not a bad thing. It shows how popular the place is. If you are looking for sweets, come check this place out.

From the decor to the serving cups you are getting no frills but great quality. Its a traditional ice cream parlor. And im not mad at it. They have counter seating for small groups to tables in the back. We had a group of 6 and was seated quickly. I had the ice cream float with root beer syrup. The vanilla ice cream sat delicately on top of the soda. The soda wasn't overly sweet and fizzy. I had time to enjoy the ice cream and the soda separately. My daughter had vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. There was not a sprinkle in sight when she was done. This isn't our first time. Nor will this be our last. All the ice cream flavor are of great quality. The fudge to the sundae is classic. Ideal for after dinner or date night after a movie. Dont forget to bring cash.

The inside is absolutely beautiful and while they have tables, they also have more traditional floor seating. We got a couple bites of food to eat, some of their tea, and some cocktails. Their food was very mediocre, at best. While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). Overall, I thought this spot was okay for the price and I'm not sure I would return.

We came with a fairly large group and ordered several teas and snacks to share amongst us. There were several options for the flavors of tea and each one had different benefits as well. I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! So if you want to skip the bar, I'd recommend checking out this tea spot for a nice hang out.

Lighter flavor but the floral flavor does come out at the end of a bite. Coconut milk jelly: the lightest of the flavor but still sweet and flavorful enough to come through. There's a dusting of graham crackers and strawberry jelly to complement. We also got a hot matcha jasmine latte but it was actually cold. It seems like it normally comes iced and perhaps they have no way of warming up the jasmine part. There's a points program and tons of promotions that rotate. There have also been different desserts that rotate so I'll have to keep coming back to try more. They have a lunch special too where you can get a drink or dessert for less cost.

It was slightly disorganized but I think it was mostly due to the amount of customers they had that day.
