    Mochi donut

Cute dessert and drink place right next to the Murray hill Long Island railroad stop. The mochi donuts were delicious. I had never had a croffle before but it was delicious. The Nutella banana one had a whole large long piece of banana inside. Service was friendly and he explained certain different flavors to help me decide which one to purchase. I will definitely return.

I was really looking forward to trying this place given the rave reviews and because my kids LOVE croffles. Sadly, this was quite disappointing. But despite the experience, I'm willing to give it a second chance. Entered the place past 7:30 and know they probably are winding down and don't have much items left. Just felt stares on us and I ended up being the friendly person to greet the Croffle House worker. Picked a strawberry mochi donut, chocolate almond croffle and strawberry croffle. They have plenty of utensils at the entrance and napkins near the cash register. Came out to $14 and change. Strawberry mochi donut - nice chew, not overwhelmingly sweet and easy to cut through. Good shareable. Frosting was crumbly, guessing this was made earlier which is understandable given the time. Chocolate almond croffle - great. Dipped in chocolate, chewy croffle. Smaller than I thought. Strawberry croffle - started off great. Lovely strawberry cream topping with real strawberry fruit. Cut the croffle in half to share and it came apart very easily with a loud 'crunch.' I thought that was impressive but when i flipped it over by accident, I realized it was because it was BURNT. So disappointing. Lost my appetite afterwards. My hubby asked if it tasted burnt or was it a honey or chocolate glaze on the bottom. Sadly, it was neither. It was a charred taste to it. Decent experience but with the strawberry croffle THAT burnt on both halves of the croffle, it really makes me wonder. Not everyone will flip their item over because it has toppings. This place is popular; I'd like to try it again in the morning and see the difference but I'm hesitant.

Croffle House never disappoints. Their drinks and croffles are good, and I especially like and recommend the strawberry nutella croffle. We also enjoyed chatting with the employee, he was nice and knowledgeable.

Everything was delicious! I loved the fresh strawberry croffle and the decadent cookie croffle. The sweet potato mochi bread was soft and warm on the inside, and the mochi donut was chewy and soft. The service is very nice, there are lots of attentive staff. There is seating inside, with a clean bathroom.

As someone who really likes croissants, I was really excited to try their croffle. I had their mango croffle and I really liked it! I find it to be crispy and I think I tasted a bit of honey that made me enjoy it more!

I shared the chocolate and almond croffle and the chewy Dubai cookie. Both yummy! I would buy the "cookie" again.

Fast service, good place to get liquid energy before a day in the city. Mostly k pop music playing and a chill guy making the order. We've already had croffles which are amazing here.

I got their strawberry and mango croffle delivered and it was delicious! They weren't too sweet and the cream was really light, which paired well with the croffle itself. I loved the strawberry one as there was strawberry jam and the strawberries themselves were really sweet. The mango one was alright as the mangos were a bit bitter. Overall, a cute dessert spot and I would love to try their other menu items!

Have tried their croffle in the past and wanted to try their mochi bread this time. Not quite a fan... the texture is there but the flavor wasn't really it for me. You do taste the sweet potato in the potato mochi bread. The chestnut mochi bread didn't have any chestnut flavor to it. The Dolgona latte - loved it! I don't like my latte sweet at all and they made it just right for me.

Do you have vegan or eggless options?

    Mochi is naturally vegan.

I haven't asked the owners but as far as I know, rice is gluten-free. But it's not a gluten-free establishment so if you're very strict I'd be cautious.

    We use oatly original brand

Do you guys still sell the red bean and butter croffle?

Yes, thats our Ang butter croffle

At what time will stock begin to run out?

Croffles are available until closing time. Mochi donuts we make limited quantity everyday and it usually sells out by 4pm. You can call the store and ask before you come to make sure we have mochi donuts if thats the only thing you want

No sorry we currently do not carry any vegan options. All our pastry contains eggs, butter, cream.

Will the mochinut and croffle still good overnight?

Not really. They start to get hard after a few hours.

It's definitely not as eggy as the sponge cakes at Kam Hing in Manhattan Chinatown (The GOAT!!) but this version is much better than the ones at Golden Sponge Cakes in the Golden Mall. They were light & fluffy, and pretty good. I only wish they were more "eggy". -- Rainbow Sponge Cake Roll ($17): Pretty good! This log cake combines 3 flavors: vanilla, matcha & strawberry. At $2.95 each I got a baked roast pork bun, and a pineapple topping custard bun. Both were very big and every component was high-quality. The pork inside was a natural looking sauce - not bright red, the pork was cut up into regular pieces/strips it was like a healthy meal. The bread part was fluffy, dense and didn't feel like an empty white flour situation. The custard bun had a very generous amount of a custard in it and the pineapple topping didn't crumble off and fall off into pieces, but was very nicely made shell. And it was "Not-too-Sweet"! The lady who I assume is the boss said she had held a pop-up shop about two years prior which blew up, hence what we see here. The selection here was deceptively small compared to chain bakeries, but it didn't take us long recognise how much power the smaller selection packs and, actually, how the selection really is not small at all. The matcha red bean loaf grabbed my attention straight away and didn't disappoint, but their red bean bun was just as impressive, as it's a more bread-y counterpart to the fluffy versions other bakeries typically have. The onioissant is definitely experimental and worked better on the chive bacon cream cheese one than on the pollack roe, which was a bit too much on the salty and fishy side for my liking. Their chocolate horn is at least twice as big as a typical one you'll find at other bakeries and has a rich dark chocolate filling which was a pleasant surprise. Their coffee brioche pastry was another hit, thanks to the strong coffee filling and delicate layers of pastry. There's ample tables and chairs, beverage menu, and I'm sure we'd come hang if we lived closer. I can't wait to go back.
