Lychee strawberry mochi donut!
Mei C.

Lychee Strawberry Mochi Donut is so Yummy! This cute little sweet stall located at the end of the food court has one of the cutest desserts display. Ordered a set of 4 combo mochiido donuts and liked all the flavors with the Lychee strawberry tasting the best. Brown sugar boba tea mochi donut really tasted like an actually boba tea flavor~bravo to the flavor chemist behind these eclectic flavors. Matcha Mayhem tasted good as well. The least favorite of the flavor was surprisingly the Ubelicious- The purple sugar glaze fell apart right as I took my first bite; it actually crumbled everywhere. Overall, it is a good treat for myself

Mochiido is an adorable spot. It's tucked away in the back of a food court but you instantly get drawn in with how cute their desserts are. I tried their Strawberry Mochi Donut and it was very fresh and delicious. It had a cute Hello Kitty white chocolate bow on top. Had to try one of their Sanrio cakes too. The Hello Kitty Cake looked cute but was just a standard Japanese Strawberry Shortcake. They filled a box with layers of whipped cream, vanilla cake and strawberries. Nothing too special. Overall definitely worth checking out if you're in the area though.

Stopped by here for during the Flushing Food Tour. What great desserts! Loved the macaroons and matcha mochi donuts! They are located all the way in the back of a small food market. Worth the visit!

The owner/baker is so sweet and so talented! She makes the sweetest looking treats. I had to buy a cake pop and a mochi, but I'll definitely be back soon and purchase more treats. They make great edible gifts. It's in a little mall with a display counter- so I'll definitely go earlier next time to try to see what other cute sweets she has for me to buy and eat! If you're in or near Flushing, definitely check out Mochiido and support this local business

Ube Tres Leches con Flan

I came here for the Sanrio desserts, and sadly they no longer do Kuromi, my favorite character. The lady making the desserts and who helped me explained that it was because chocolate was not a very popular flavor, so unfortunately I never got to try. Regardless, I tried the Kuroppi matcha tiramisu and the ube tres leches. The matcha tiramisu was creamy and thick, with a strong matcha flavor and not very sweet (which is a plus for me.) The flan on the ube tres leches was good, and the cream was unique in that is wasn't too heavy or cloying, but I think I personally just don't like tres leches very much. I'd recommend giving it a try if you do like that kind of cake!

I ordered four fatcarons, but three were stale and felt like I was biting into a hard cookie versus that key macaron shell. From left to right, top to bottom in the photo: Churro, Banana, Pistachio, Passionfruit. Pistachio (Keroppi/green fatcaron) tasted like food coloring only with a hint of pistachio. Wide variety of flavor options with very fun, photogenic cookie shapes. Definitely came for the experience, but based on this visit, I would not come here again looking for quality macarons.

hello kitty strawberry shortcake - A square-shaped clear plastic dessert cup contains a layered treat topped with a white surface decorated to resemble Hello Kitty's face. The decoration includes a pink bow, two chocolate eyes, a small yellow nose, and whiskers made of small chocolate pieces. The dessert is placed on a dark wooden surface with purple lighting reflections.

I came here for dessert after lunch nearby on a Friday afternoon with a friend. It's in a food court in the back. They sell mochi doughnuts, macarons, and mini cakes. My friend and I shared a Hello Kitty mini strawberry shortcake. The strawberry shortcake was very fresh especially the strawberries and the cake. The cream tasted freshly made as well. The female staff member was very nice and you can see her making the Sanrio character decorations by hand. I would come back to try their other desserts, it's such a cute place!

S'mores donut - delicious!

Ever since Afternoon in Flushing closed, I've been looking for my mochi donut fix. And Mochiido may be it! I went on a Saturday night and it's hidden in the back of the mini food court where Flushing Ice Cream Factory and YiFang Tea used to be. There was no line, but a lot of donuts were already sold out, but luckily the one I wanted wasn't: s'mores! The donut itself was delicious, I personally just realized that I don't like torched marshmallows, lol. I also got the Nutella macaron, which comes frozen by the way, but I didn't really love it. The cream on the macaron was just meh, so I think it's a very pretty item, but not one I'm itching to try again. For both I paid $7.50. Wish the seating area was cleaner, but that's not on Mochiido, that's on the food court. Finally, they have a $10 minimum on credit cards, but they accept Venmo or Zelle.

have been wanting to try Out this dessert shop for a while now & finally made the 1 hr trip .. & it was So Worth it !! i expected to love the designs But the actual flavor of the desserts surprised me !! So Delighted !! Boyf & I got the Pompompurin Banana Pudding, the Hello Kitty Strawberry ShortCake & a s'Mores mochi Donut. The Banana Pudding was my Fav ! So good. It was sweet & had so much banana Flavor! I'd love if there was a cake at the bottom .. The Strawberry Shortcake was so fresh & light. Not too sweet, the whipped cream frosting gave me a very nostalgic feeling. My Boyf loved the s'Mores donut !! I can't wait to go back! The young lady who took my order was so sweet and explained every macaron flavor .. she was so knowledgeable and kind! It's a small front located in the back of a lil food hall with other great food. Lots of variety !! There's limited seating but we went on a Saturday, early afternoon & were able to sit & enjoy our treats !!

Passion fruit and strawberry are my favorites!
Rita L.

Love the passion fruit flavor and strawberry mochi donuts, cute macarons/fatcarons and friendly staff. I got the unicorn and rainbow and thought the unicorn tasted better. I'd have to go back to try some cookies next time! Flavors I tried in the mix of 6 mochi donuts, in the order I liked: 1. Passion fruit 2. Strawberry 3. Oreo 4. Ube 5. Pineapple 6. Black sesame Good for sharing!

Passion Fruit

i wanted a mochi donut badly. idk i was craving it. and like it was right next door to where we got breakfast so like why not! so then we walked in and waited like five minutes cuz there was like no one there. but then i got the donut and didn't even eat it cuz i was freaking full. so i just ate it when it was cold and soggy back in my dorm so i didn't get the full flavor like fresh out of the oven. oh well! i got passionfruit because im basic af and always get passionfruit but it was still fire even after 10 hours of walking around!!! maybe i'll go here again and try something else. but their other bakery goods are so cute wow!!! 4 stars!

I stopped by here today to pickup some Macarons for my dad, bro, sis in law and nephews. They had been on my to try list for a little while Service: Very friendly and helpful. Price: A little pricy, especially for the area. But not too bad. They were $4 a macaron. The Presentation: A+, they were absolutely adorable The taste: Everyone agreed they were delicious, they were soft, sweet but not too sweet.

Great donuts and there custom individual cakes. Owner and staff are very friendly. My kids and I love the individual cakes because we have different taste and likings. My favorite is the Bananna pudding.

I was on a mission to reach their store front before they closed for the night. I was so excited to finally get here to see the adorable and whimsical characters on display. I had previously read that you can customize an order ahead of time should you want a specific character and flavor. Coolness. My choices were partially skewed to what flavors my family and I would enjoy. But also to the cute designs. Vanilla and Chocolate Nutella was a hit with my kids. Hubby liked the lychee and I enjoyed the Black Sesame very much. I have yet to try, but I did buy the Thai Tea and Ube (Yam) flavors. Was too stuffed after dinner to sample them all. BTW, they sell Rebecca's Cake Pops as well. For those that are not familiar, Rebecca's is a mom and pop run local shop in Long Island. The pops are very artistic and trendy. They also taste great. Moist and sweet, as any cake pop should be. Do note: this storefront closes early and it's cash only for the most part. While they accept venmo, they do not accept credit cards. Dang it. Also, it's not an enclosed shop, so check their website to ensure they're open during inclement weather. It's a street stall so the folks have to brave the elements. And management, if you're reading, can you get better boxes to hold these cute confections? I was worried my macarons would not transport well and they did get moved around a bit on my commute.

I did love how they have a Photo Booth in the back, which was a lot of fun.

Definitely look at the photos and it'll help you find the shop! Basically after you enter the building, you go down the stairs and through a long hallway. The place is a few doors down and adorned with macarons, so don't give up if you don't see it at first haha I got six macarons -- red velvet, matcha, lavender, Oreo, strawberry, and fruity pebbles. I ate the matcha, lavender, and Oreo all in one sitting woops! They were quite delicious! The macarons were frozen when I purchased them but they defrosted well and had a crunchy yet soft texture which was lovely. The flavors were also quite strong, I could really taste the matcha and lavender in the macaron filling. The Oreo macaron felt like I was eating cookies and cream ice cream! All in all, the macarons are wonderful and I definitely will return :) the owner was super kind as well! Side note: they take credit card but prefer cash!

And the filling is AMAZING. There is so much of it (the macarons are thick), but it is light; not dense at all. The flavors are also varied and all are so good. I highly recommend the matcha and lavender flavors, but they are all good. Macaron Craft Oizumi does catering mostly, but the owner well sell you macarons from her kitchen. The macarons are cold and you need to let them sit for an hour before eating, but it is worth it. The kitchen is hard to find. It is in the basement of a building with no outside signage. Macaron Craft Oizumi is really worth visiting. You will not try a better macaron elsewhere. I promise.
