I really appreciated how she made me and my friend feel comfortable and welcome at the shop. The food: Meltaway Babka- it's a chocolate babka on steroids! Omg this was so damn good but it was very intense and on the sweet side but man this was so good. Eat this with some tea or coffee to tone it down. This is a must get. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=hYxUn_61aZq8ZQqzDIuMSQ Chocolate Babka- Turns out there are a few different types of chocolate babka here, there was the classic that comes in half a loaf, there is one that comes in a half loaf with some powdered sugar on top, and there was another one that was like a chocolate chocolate babka that came in a circular loaf that looked like cinnamon buns and had more of an intense chocolate flavor. I went with the classic and I was very happy with with the version here. I would easily come back just for this. I thought it was great, not too rich or oily and not too sweet. I thought this was an easy eating babka. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=-IrBczFaxKcUckdikQ-KfA Raspberry Hamantaschen- Turns out previously I only had subpar ones because the one I had here were amazing. The cookie dough part was made so well, it had such a nice texture. It wasn't too dry, not too crumbly, it was made just right. The raspberry part was ok, it tasted like raspberries but the flavor was a but light. Carrot Cake- This was good but kinda plain. The cake part was nice and moist but I felt it needed more flavor. Like it needed more of a carrot flavor or something. I was thinking if they made like a banana walnut bread with the same texture of the cake, it would have been amazing. Mini Black and White Cookies- Thought these were OK. To preface, I don't normally love black and white cookies because they don't even feel like they are cookies but the taste and texture was ok.

The employee at the register was very friendly and helped us narrow down our options. Take out only, no eating in. Their focus is corn dogs and donuts. They also have a few bubble tea and fruitade options. Prices are fair and they have several combo meals with even better prices. We tried their Combo3 B for $11, just under $12 with tax. Came with a mozzarella mix corn dog with panko breading. Half the dog was mozzarella and the other half had the hot dog. They have other breading toppings, with some being an additional $1.50. We added ketchup and mustard. Also came with two filled donuts, which we went with one Nutella and one strawberry cream cheese. You have option to put cinnamon or white sugar and we went with cinnamon sugar. All made to order and wow, sooo good! Corndog had a good crunch with each bite, good flavor. And the cheese pull, impressive! The donuts were pillowy, soft, light, and filled very well with each flavor. Not overly sweet, but just enough. Will be returning to try other menu items. Check them out!

They have two digital kiosks for ordering, although I had terrible the last time with it scanning my card and had to order from the counter. Their menu has expanded since the last year if you're counting since their old management, although they're still missing a few Korean corn dog topping options, such as fried ramen noodles. No big deal, as they have plenty of options here.

I love how the pastry itself is very crispy, the dough still has a chew, and the cream filling is nice and light. Compared to Martha's cream that is heavy, dense, and super sweet, I definitely love Lulu's better. Their napoleon and eclair was also delicious, but the lobster tail is definitely the way to go! Glad to see that Lulu's is now in a bigger spot than before with much more seating and space! The staff are also very nice and pretty efficient. Looking forward to coming back again and trying some other pastries and cookies here. There's definitely a wide selection to choose from!

This past Wednesday we went and got a few things, like the lobster tail and some cupcakes. I have a younger daughter at home that has a dairy allergy so I asked them if they had any vegan items. Hoping to get something for her too while we're at it. While the woman helping me simply said no. The woman behind her made a comment saying obviously nothing says vegan here, and to go somewhere else if I we want vegan. I pretended not to hear her but I was really turned off by it. I really wanted to just leave at that point but my daughter was excited for her cupcake.
