I been here a few times. I gotten a couple of cakes for birthdays and of course plenty of pastries. This bakery is a bit pricey but their stuff is always on point. The donuts and cakes are my favorites. What I love about the pastries here is that they aren't super sweet.

The cakes I tried here were very good and the service friendly! The traditional pound cake was great if that's what you're looking for but for me what really stood out was the green tea roll. I love green tea and I thought the cake was wonderfully moist with a chocolate and cream middle that made it really good. They also have 4 parking spots so there is parking but it's tight. Takeout is really easy with the counter right by the door and dining in seemed nice (I just did takeout).

My go to spot in Flushing. Newest favorite besides Matcha (anything), is the red velvet latte and the Strawberry Tiramisu. The tiramisu is a creamy, delicate balance of strawberry and fresh cream. It's so good!! Same texture that you would expect from a standard tiramisu only better!! Today I had the honey lavender macchiato and that was slightly sweet and quite relaxing. Perfect for a cold and windy day. I was here around 2:30pm in the afternoon on a Saturday so it was very busy. Almost every cafe table was full and everyone had a tray of desserts or baked goods. Picked up milk bread, strawberry Tiramisu, a chocolate eclair (also a must try), apple tarts, and a cream donut. This was to go for a hostess gift so I don't have many pictures. But totally worth a visit especially to peruse the shelves of goodies.

Pastries! Pastries! Pastries! It's a pretty bakery with nice pastries and desserts to grab and go. You don't need to go to the cashier to ask for each pastry. Also lots of coffee selections. A lot of seating too and a parking lot for anyone who has a car and needs parking. I always get their matcha crème loaf and it tastes so good even though it is fatty. Prices are okay and sometimes can be expensive. Their cake slices are pretty tasty and not too sweet which is what I like. Buttercream tastes so good

A bakery/ coffee shop in Queen Chinatown, with parking! What?! Yeah!!! That's enough rain to go there. It's cafeteria style, you grab a tray and tons and pick up what you want, then go to the counter to order drinks and pay. They have about 10 tables in the back. It's fresh and clean. And the ac was blasting when I went. They have a variety of baked goods, both sweet and savory. I was drawn to the kimchi croquet and the spinach and feta Danish.. The croquet was absolutely delicious, but not a croquet at all. It was a bun with a kimchi curry filling. There was plenty of filling. It had the right amount of heat and a little sweet. The spinach and feta pastry was pretty and tasted good... it had onions in it, in case you're not a fan. I took home the premium casttel. It's good, nothing amazing, slightly sweet, a bit dry. But good. I haven't tried the green tea roll yet.. The one thing though, just after I paid, an employee came out and started telling at the people in que to move to the side to que up, it wasn't necessary at all for him to yell...I wouldn't hold this against the store, but just the one employee..

Had an awesome opportunity to try their green tea cake roll, it was delicious. I love the fact that in the center, it has a pinch of sweet red bean paste, and the stuff cream was just enough. It's actually one of the best roll cakes I've had in a while, Well packaged too. I also liked the Castella, not too sweet, tasty and not too dry. I still like the green tea roll cake the best. As I was there I notice they have a nice pretty collection of cakes in the cooler. Great birthday cake options for kids on the other side of the cooler. It was a hot day so I decided to try their iced latte with soy milk, went very well paired with the cake. I will definitely come back for the next roll cake, they have parking in the front of the store which is a plus. The cashier inside were also very polite and nice while taking my order. Overall great experience,

Lots of people at 7 PM which is surprising but got the strawberry summer breeze which I thought was okay. The service was amazing and there were lots of people.

We got the custard pastry, taro bread, kimchi croquette, apple strudel. I really liked the taro bread, it was light and slightly sweet and buttery with cream on the inside Custard pastry - good but not special Apple strudel- good strudel, not enough apple filling Kimchi croquette - nice flavor, not greasy like some croquettes can be Only the taro bread stood out to me. There are better local bakeries in the area to support!

Wide selection of sweet and savory pastries. You can choose your own pastries as they are stored inside of sliding doors on display. There was a lot of available seating and it was very busy inside around 12:00 pm. It was very noisy and loud inside in the seating area though. Some tables were not wiped down and were a little messy.

It's been too long since I last bought a cake at TLJ. That my stasis was broken by the earl grey latte cloud cake can only be considered a stroke of luck. There's something so addicting about the taste. At the first bite, I wondered whether I could finish my slice because it just felt like a lot of cream. Then the strong flavor of the earl grey hit and I immediately am looking forward to eating a second slice. This is the perfect cake for tea lovers or for those looking to impress (those cake layers make for an impressive cross-section). I picked up a few pastries since I was here and got some old-time favorites: Jumbo Twist Donut - a classic. It is light, fluffy and covered in sugar. Kimchi Croquette - fried goodness. Think kimchi dumpling in a deep-fried ball form. Yuzu Pie - buttery but refreshing. Sweet yuzu jam encased in a flaky shell and topped with crystallized sugar. Yum.

Tous le Jours is a chain in Korea. The visit brought back wonderful memories in Korea. Exploring the bakery, I found Chestnut bread in loaf form, which I often gift. The sweetness matches other bakeries, and the prices are reasonable. Another option is their sweet potato bread in loaf form. While transactions ever quick, finding a table can be a challenge due to busy atmosphere. Despite the busyness, the experience was pleasantly quiet. I have been here a handful of times over the years and I would definitely come back.

The inside is absolutely beautiful and while they have tables, they also have more traditional floor seating. We got a couple bites of food to eat, some of their tea, and some cocktails. Their food was very mediocre, at best. While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). Overall, I thought this spot was okay for the price and I'm not sure I would return.

We came with a fairly large group and ordered several teas and snacks to share amongst us. There were several options for the flavors of tea and each one had different benefits as well. I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! So if you want to skip the bar, I'd recommend checking out this tea spot for a nice hang out.
