Love that it's a cafe and dessert spot, which means you can come here to do work, have coffee and or pastry during the day and at night you came here for dessert post dinner. Plenty of seating and great lighting for The bingsu here is nice and milky. The scoop of ice cream is light and creamy. While the mangoes were sweet, it was probably over ripen from the darkening color. It's a nice treat for those of you with a sweet tooth.
This cafe is the best, perfect dessert spot. I adored it as soon as I stepped in. Bright, good amount of seating and has a variety on their menu ranging from coffee to dessert. We grabbed the cute window spot in the front that offered perfect lighting and ambiance to our dessert after lunch nearby. Ordered a matcha soft serve and plain croffle with vanilla ice cream. It took a little bit but they give you a little buzzer so you know when your order is ready. The matcha soft serve was good but better to because I was nearly matcha'd out by the time I was done. My favorite was the croffle because it was literally the best croffle I've had and I have tried many. The size was giant. The drizzle and ice cream with all the other things added on top of it sealed the deal. Every bite was heaven. Can you sense that I really enjoyed it? Prices can be steep, as with everything else in this economy. Two desserts racked up $26. Ouch. But if you're looking for a cute, cozy and modern cafe spot, this is it.
I went to Cafe Auburndale and it was absolutely delicious. The space is pretty large with a beautiful seating area, and they have a wide variety on their menu. I got a dulce de leche hot latte and a Biscoff cookie butter hot latte, and both were amazing. The coffee was delicious and they do such a beautiful design on top. Honestly, it was stunning. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back.
Came here with friends for dessert after kbbq. Ordered the matcha bingsu and mango bingsu. This was a perfect refreshing/light dessert after a long hot day. The mango was our favorite. My only gripe would be that if you order matcha and mango, to have the matcha first. Otherwise, it will taste bland with the mango binsu. Both are still so good and highly recommend. This will definitely be my go to spot for bingsu.

I do wish they'd tone down the cream a bit. I ordered the rose hibiscus tea, but it was too bland and lacked any real tea flavor. The decor is cozy and inviting, and the service was fast and friendly. I'd love to see the menu expanded with more savory snack options and a wider variety of boba drinks.
Love this cafe, probably my third time here. They have unique drink flavors that are actually GOOD!!!!! I believe they are korean inspired, I cant wait to try everything on the menu. The bingsu is always a hit, and every flavor latte I've tried is delicious & magical. I've tried the sweet potato latte, cold brew einspanner (summer special?), and genmaicha latte. LOVED ALL OF THEM. SO FUN AND TASTY, the flavors actually work well with each other. Whenever I come I have no problem finding seating, even if I have to wait around for 5 mins. This area is easy to park if you are driving. The music is on the louder side but the cafe is spacious for working / studying. There are a couple tables with access to outlets & wifi works well here. Perfect WFH spot.

The space itself is very big with seating all along the shop and in the back - I definitely see people spending a half day here or more as they have all the food, drinks and dessert you can possibly want and need. We ordered drinks and dessert while waiting for a table which we were able to get as our orders were being made. I got the strawberry matcha latte and we shared two bingsus. For the bingus, they also offer little cups for sharing purposes which was a nice touch! My matcha drink was a tad sweet but still thoroughly enjoyed it. We got the strawberry bingu and the milk bingu. Both were super delicious and refreshing. Overall, everything was good and would come back again!

However, there were plenty of other dessert options available such as bingsoo, soft serve ice cream , red velvet muffins, mini tiramisu cakes, lava cake, and cheesecake just to name a few. This cozy cafe spot features Korean-American style desserts. There are two areas for dine in seating. High tops, cafe tables or the back room that has a huge communal style long table or single bar stool seating. Opens early (8:30am) and opens late (until 11pm). This is my kind of place - rare find to have such long hours on any given day. This explains why there's always people - a great drink menu and so many desserts!! I'll return for the waffles but I didn't really care for the mini tiramisu cake. It featured a very light cream and not heavy for a dessert but not memorable either. The other desserts are probably more popular, the bingsoo and DIY acai bowls. And a featured lava cake. This was my first visit so I'll know for next time to swing by earlier. I did order a Golden Latte - Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and almond milk. That warmed me right up. It definitely was heavy on the turmeric. I'm a fan.

Love this cafe. It's my favorite local/neighborhood bingsoo! Came on a Saturday afternoon. It was filled with people working/studying and small groups of people just relaxing and catching up with their friends. I tried their new portobello sandwich. It had arugula and pesto. Not too salty but still flavorful. The bread was toasty but not too hard but still toasted. Definitely would order it again one day. read more
Always such a great cafe to catch up with friends over drinks and desserts. I really like how late cafe abundance is usually opened until because I am the type to always want something sweet after a good meal. Because of this reason and because their desserts are always great, I find myself coming back again and again! This time I got the mango bingsoo and the cookie butter croffle which were both delicious! Their bingsoo is always so fluffy which I really like and the mango flavor is super strong as well so it doesn't feel like I'm having plain bingsoo once I get to the middle. The croffles from here are always sooo good. They're so chewy and warm which was super comforting for the cold weather that has been going on recently. This place is self service so the only interaction you have with the staff is when ordering. They are always super patient and helpful. The cute cafe has quite a bit of seats as well but because it is pretty popular around the area, it does fill up quite quickly. read more
The bingsoo here is sooooo good! I love the milk based shaved ice and their fresh fruits. Always so ripe. The portion size is on the shareable side is grab a friend or two. We also tried the biscuit waffle and it was a lot larger than I expected. Warm, crispy and decadent with every bite. read more
Pretty dessert and coffee cafe. The ice cream concoctions with warm waffles will satisfy any sweet tooths. The Hawaiian coffee is fragrant and delish. Personally I think desserts are on the pricey side. They open late and the place is clean. A cup of ice cream was about $11. read more

I've been coming here for years. Love it. It's such a cute clean cafe. Lots of people come here to study. Staff is polite. All the food and pastries are delicious. I'm fond of the soft serve. I wish they would do single serve for their bingsu, it's phenomenal. read more

I've been wanting to visit Cafe Auburndale for their korean bingsoo and soft serve, but I don't go to Auburndale/Bayside often. The cafe is so reminiscent of the ones I've seen in Seoul--bright, spacious and clean. There is restroom, wifi and plenty of seatings. The menu was packed with korean desserts and drinks that attracted my eyeballs, like injeolmi waffle, matcha bingsoo and croffles, dragon fruit açai bowl, etc. ＊Dalgona Soft Serve $9.5 It was a vanilla soft serve layered with dalgona chunks and dalgona crumbs. The texture of dalgona reminded me of honeycomb: brittle, crunchy and crispy. Flavor-wise It was sweet like toffee. It was an indulgence as I don't eat very sweet dessert often. The dalgona flavor had a great chemistry with the creamy soft serve, which made me crave for it after every spoonful. Worth to mention the soft serve size was huge. read more
I love this cafe!! The matcha bingsoo was so delicious - not too sweet with creamy shaved ice, red bean, mochi, and matcha ice cream. It's perfect to share with 2-3 people. The einspanner cream latte was creamy and slightly bitter, just what I wanted from a latte. They have so many seats, although it does get crowded. There is a bathroom and wifi, so it's the perfect cafe to study at. read more

Ordered the matcha and mango bingsoo with a group of friends and we were not disappointed. It was a hot day so we were looking forward to having something cool us down. The employees were very nice and helped us pick out the bingsoo. The flavors were wowowoww. Perfect midday treat! read more
Came here today for dessert with the family. We ordered a small americano coffee and a mango shaved ice to share. Service was fast and efficient. There was plenty of seating in the back and outside. Will definitely be going back. read more

I went back to Café Auburndale in Queens yesterday, and it's just as busy as I remember! This place has such a great vibe as a coffee and dessert shop. Last time, I tried the Mango Bingsoo, which was delicious--sweet with a little tang, and they loaded it up with mango, which I loved! This time, I decided to try the Pistachio Latte and some Dalgona Soft Serve. The pistachio latte was really nice; it had just the right hint of pistachio without overpowering the coffee flavor. The Dalgona Soft Serve was so light and fluffy, and the sweetness was just perfect. At first, I thought it tasted like honeycomb, but my friend pointed out it was dalgona flavor, and it just melted in my mouth. Seriously, so good! The staff here is super friendly, and they always play great music that makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. I'm definitely coming back to try their other flavors of bingsoo and soft serve. read more

Came here for dessert after dinner on a weeknight and the place was packed - it was a bit hard to grab a table, but we were lucky with timing and got one without waiting too long. Our bingsoo came out in a reasonable amount of time too. When we finished, we gave our table up pretty fast for a family so definitely be prepared to scout for a table if you plan on dining in! Decor was cute and pretty modern - things felt clean and it was pleasant to sit. The menu had a good selectionnof drinks and desserts. We got a mango bingsoo to share and it was pretty tasty - a bit on the smaller side in my opinion, but high quality with super great snow and good flavor. Overall, a solid choice. Wanted to update because they've been consistently great and this is a go to spot. We were clumsy and accidentally spilled a full drink while dining, the staff was kind and cleaned it up and also replaced the drink for free. I highly recommend coming here for a reliable spot with wifi and please get the croffles they're so good!!! read more
Cafe Auburndale never disappoints. I always come here for the mango bingsoo and every time it's just as good as the last time. The customer service is good and the time between ordering and receiving my bingsoo is usually around 5 mins. My only issue is, which isn't anything against Cafe Auburndale, is that Cafe Auburndale looks more like a Starbucks where students are sitting on their laptops/ipads and a what looks like a water down iced coffee. Just panning the around, my husband and I are sitting at the only table not doing any work. I notice customers walking in to order and to find a table but walking out because they can't find an empty table. Not a good look, Cafe Auburndale. read more
The strawberry bingsoo here was super delicious! It was one of the best I have eaten in NYC so far (much better than KTown's Gracestreet). It was so refreshing w/ the right amount of sweetness. The strawberries were so fresh and not sour which was great! Loved the scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top! Cute decor & the place had tons of tables and chairs. read more

This spot has been on my list for a bit and I'm happy I finally made it. It's a very busy and popular spot but there's a good amount of seating. Their dessert menu is amazing - from drinks to soft serve to bingsu to pastries, there's something for everyone! You order at the counter and pick it up when it's ready. I love bingsu and their bingsu is very popular, especially in the summer! I ordered my go-to bingsu flavor - green tea with red beans and mochi. Theirs did not disappoint - delicious and creamy green tea with sweet red beans and mochi and almond slices. It was a large serving that 2-3 people could easily share. They have some great coffee options as well as soft serve and waffles, which I plan to try during future visits. Overall, this is an amazing dessert spot with lots of options. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! read more
We checked this spot after having a heavy lunch at a nearby Asian buffet. My brother recommended this place. It wasn't that spacious, but the place was able to fit all of 12 of us. They even had a function room for private events, which surprised us. We loved their ice cream. My kids enjoyed their desserts, as well. Despite being stuffed from the previous meal, we were able to finish everything that we ordered. The food was that good. The staff was friendly, too! We're glad we went to Cafe Auburndale. It's not often I visit Queens, much less that area. It's nice to know that places like Cafe Auburndale exist. I highly recommend you check this spot out. read more
Was surprised to find a cafe open til so late! But this cafe has great lighting and ample seating - perfect for that late night treat before calling it a night. The croffle was chewy and the warmth of the croffle paired nicely with the cold strawberry ice cream. read more
Their desserts might be a hit or miss. One time when I visited and tried the Rainbow Waffle, the ice cream was already melting a lot when the order came out, and the waffle itself wasn't even warm (their fridge might have been not properly running that day). I had a bite of their croffle, and it seemed pretty undercooked, almost like a mochi waffle. It was a bit too heavy for me too. Their bingsoo is just okay too. It did melt pretty quickly compared to the bingsoo I tried at Cocohodo, probably because Cafe Auburndale puts their bingsoo in ceramic and not metal bowls. Their green tea bingsoo looked good, but to me, the textures and flavors didn't blend well and seemed pretty random. Their shaved ice had a chalky texture too initially. The desserts here aren't bad, but I think there might be better places. I wouldn't come here for their bingsoo just because it did melt fairly quickly. read more
This is a fun, cute, clean, surprisingly spacious cafe. They have special drinks and desserts posted near the cashier. The einspanner is great 9/10. Thick foam on top of coffee. It's less sweet than other cafes which I like. The mango bingsoo is real shaved ice, super soft, with mango syrup, sweet fresh mango, and ice cream on top. It's enough for two people. 8/10. Eat it in the cafe, don't do delivery. The matcha injeolmi cream latte is coffee with matcha flavor and some soy bean flavor. It is creamy, nutty, with hints of green tea flavor. 8/10. It will last until the next day in the fridge. There is a lot of seating in this place and there is an extra outdoor area at the back. read more
Overdue for a review. I've been to Cafe Auburndale about 4 times now and adore this cafe. During the day time, it's a quiet space where you can get some work done. There are outlets, hooks for coats, and plenty of space. The prices are very fair. I've had their coffee, lates, and baked goods. They were pretty standard. However the bingsoo is what you need to get. Definitely something that needs to be split. It's creamy. The amount sweetness isn't overbearing so you can keep digging in. My favorites have been the strawberry and mango ones. The fruits offer a nice refreshing taste to balance out the sweet. read more
I ordered a seasonal drink, the pistachio cream latte. All the pistachio flavouring was in the cream itself, so you got a taste of the pistachio as you sipped. However, the latte was still lacking. The espresso was nothing special and the pistachio flavour needs to be bolder. I did like the crushed up pieces of nut on top of the cream. I also ordered the plain croffle (croissant waffle), which comes topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of maple syrup, cinnamon and powdered sugar. I wouldn't necessarily describe it as plain, but it was absolutely delicious. I will be coming back to try the other flavours. My friend had the chocolate lava cake, and we both agreed the ones in the Trader Joe's frozen section are way better. The croffle or the waffles are definitely the way to go if you come here. The decor is cute and the cafe was clean. There's a quiet space if you're looking to work there and an outdoor seating space in the back. read more
